Vocalia had to keep herself from screaming as she listened to a voice inside her head. Whatever it was, it sounded calm and serene, but after her encounter with the incubus, she was not as willing to accept it at face value. As the angel appeared behind her and touched her shoulder, her body reacted to the holy presence by bursting tiny wings from her back. With her body being marked by a demon, even her wings showed the state she was in. Her left wing was pure white, soft and radiating with warmth. Her right wing was a jet black, smooth and giving out some mysterious feel. Vocalia was petrified on the spot and she didn't dare look at the angel behind her.

as she seemed horrified. the angel soon twirled her around, as vocalia soon saw a magnificent entity on it's knee in order to meet her at eye level.
"such a magnificent creature, god has not abandoned you. i am hear to bring you salvation, and take you to your family. unlike you they are dead, but we can grant living access to paradise as long as you remain true to your virtues. " as he smiled saying this, expanding his magnificent golden wings. the angel was trying to calm her down, yet it seemed the marking, and black wing troubled the entity of light, and purity.

"My... family?" Vocalia meekly asked. As if greeting the messenger of light, her body gave out the warm glow she was known for. Her black markings turned white and glowed alongside her body and, to the angel, she looked like a young angel almost corrupted by the darkness with an unsoiled kind heart.
Being an orphan, she never knew who her family was. She never felt any sense of belonging; the other children shunned her for her stature, the adults laughed at her for being parentless and spoke ill of her, saying that she was a result of unwanted marriage. Being with Virgil was the closest thing she had of being wanted, but she was thoroughly scared of him and wanted to run away. It seemed to be a firm decision at first, but as time passed, she began to feel her desire waver.

"yes my dear child, with your courage. we have seen that even the greatest of evils have there flaws. you have bore many great pains, and sins. you who is with out true power has toppled the darkest of our foes, and removed it from the legion's forces. giving us the needed advantage. we shall offer you the early bliss you rightfully deserve. taking you away from this nightmare, and be with your true parents. they did not abandon you or leave you, but sacrificed themselves to protect you. do you desire this blessing we can grant you?"
as he spoke his voice was gentle, and kind, however the angel revealed this was thanks for her causing the greatest forces of the darkness to weaken so. there most powerful warriors lay slain by the claws of her master.

The angel's offer seemed to good to pass up. Something about his voice radiated kindness and trustworthy. At first, she was about to accept until she remembered something. Turning to her bed, she saw Pistos and Ragno peacefully sleeping. Vocalia slowly stepped away from the angel and moved to gently stroke her two sleeping companions. "What... what will become of them?" She asked, wanting to know what the angel and heavens would do to Virgil and the two beasts she call friend.

" as for the demon lord he will be punished for his crimes, however your companions are free of sins. they will be welcomed with you, however what will happen to them in the home of your family is for them to decide. " as the angel stood up, offering her his hand. as he wanted to leave the dreadful fortress before detection.

The offer was now too good to pass up. Not only would Virgil finally get him comeuppance, she and her companions would also be free and could finally live in peace. However, she found herself unable to leave Virgil behind. In the past, such feat would be a breeze, but now, after all he had done to save her, she found herself bound by gratitude to his service. "I... I can't leave..." She frowned, looking down to the floor. "Master Virgil is a creature of cruelty and horror, but he had risked his life countless times to protect me. For what reason, I don't know, but I can't leave him after all he did for me."

" if you choose to say, then we will not be able to help you my dear child. please come for now, this place will soon fall, however if you do not wish to come then i can not force you. " as he spoke giving her one last chance to change her mind. the angel began to glow slightly, as it showed he was about to leave the fortress with or with out her.

With a hardening resolve, Vocalia gently shook her head. "Thank you for your offer, but I cannot come. I won't leave him alone, even after what he did. I somehow felt that he could be redeemed... in some way..." She replied. "But thank you for caring for me, even if that kindness is a tie to a struggle in power." She stepped away from the angel, saddened that the only reason she was extended such kindness was because of her part in vanquishing the demon council. She doubt the Heavens would even care for her if she hadn't done anything.

before vanishing the angel left a small cross made from green emerald stone for her. as he winked at the young maiden, and told her to keep it close. the charm would allow her to seek help in the time of need. with that he vanished from her chamber with out a trace. vocalia now had two friends looking out for her, one in the darkness, nu, and the angel which had visited her, however it's name eluded the young lady.
