Tenzen can only create Magma based jutsu, this is often mistaken as Lava Release which requires the use of Earth and Fire chakra's, however his Magma nature is a pure chakra type and thus he cannot use fire or Earth jutsu natures.

Personality:
Tenzen is an easily angered individual who is impulsive and violent to say the least, he enjoys a good fight but often tries to avoid unecessary combat. He has many friends within the village and they will all say how protective Tenzen is, he upholds his family and friends above all else (save his own life). Though he has caring tendencies he is selfish when it comes to his life as a shinobi, he lives by one rule; 'get the job done' and will pay any cost to see his mission is a success.

In battle he uses his Magma release to devastate the battlefield, he will turn the ground into a deadly pit of lava. Making the enemy take to avoiding the ground and going for higher ground, he will take them out in the air with use of chain weaponry. This makes him a deadly indivdual and all around useful person in a battle.

History:
Tenzen was born with his twin sister Pheng in Iwagakure, their father had recently died of a fever and his mother was alone and poor. Tenzen's mother was a member of a powerful clan of nomad shinobi who utilised magma in their jutsu, but they had been long wiped out due to internal war in the clan. The three were homeless and would often rob and mug tourists to get by, his mother was arrested and punished numerous times for these crimes but Tenzen and Pheng always escaped and awaited the return of their beaten mother. At age 6 he twins discovered their use of Magma Release when the floor beneath them started to burn, also when the two bickered their skin turned red and steam escaped their ears and noses. Tenzen's mother sent them to the Ninja Academy and put them in foster care, the twins did not know that she had been arrested however and was being exiled from the village, they never heard her again but a better future was a head for them.

Tenzen and Pheng trained their Magma release and other basic shinobi techniques, Pheng favoured taijutsu and the use of katana while Tenzen his Magma Release and chain weaponry. The two were best friends and fought one another day and night to become stronger, they promised each other to become great shinobi and find their mother and lost clan, one day where they became stronger came too soon.

The Chuunin exams came up and things went horribly wrong, Tenzen and Pheng were put on a team with a third genin and were given a task that would test their morality skills. Pheng chose he higher morale choice and Tenzen the major opposite, the two spent the day arguing and eventually turned violent. The exam luckily took place in the wilderness and the devastating Magma Release did no harm to the village, the same could not be said for the eam of Genin. Pheng's flawed Magma Release killed her and the third genin in a freak accident, instead of reporting the accident Tenzen continued with his mission and passed the Chuunin exams.

Tenzen has been a Chuunin for many years now and is an able soldier, he is first to be chosen for high risk missions and is often put in charge when making a hard decision.

Description:
Magma release gains its power from the earth, but is not a combination of fire and earth chakra, meaning the user cannot utilise the two and only magma. he user cannot produce magma from his/her body and must make conact with the ground to use jutsu, though he user's body is affected by overheating body temperature, resistance to certain amounts of heat and short tempers.

Magma Release is week to water based techniques and strong against long range.

Name of Technique: Magma Release: Crimson Wave

Description:
After a string of hand seals, the user will place their hands on the ground and a wave around 10 metres high and wide will erupt from the ground. The wave will travel forward at a fast speed, incinerating anything in it's path.

Weakness:
The wave is not very large and can be jumped over or avoided easily.


Name of Technique: Magma Release: Rising Wall
Type of Jutsu: Ninjutsu
Rank: C
Range: Short
Nature Type: Magma

Description:
The user will sprout a wall of magma from the ground, which will reach 5 metres in height and 25 in width. It is used as a basic defense to oncoming attacks. The wall burns continuously and can cause damage to unprotected skin.

Weakness:
After 10 seconds the magma rapidly cools and hardens, becoming brittle and easily breakable wth a blunt force attack.


Name of Technique: Magma Release: Crossing the Desert
Type of Jutsu: Ninjutsu
Rank: B
Range: Close to long
Nature Type: Magma

Description:
Whilst performing handseals and staying rooted to the ground, spikes of magma will sprout from the ground and harden rapidly turning into a deadly spread of spike traps. The spikes themselves are 5 metres high, around 15 are sprouted at any given time and the range they can sprout from the user is around 25 metres.

Weakness:
Though deadly whilst rising, once the spikes have cooled into hard stone they are easily destroyed and cannot revert back to magma.


Name of Technique: Magma Release: Red Torpedo
Type of Jutsu: Ninjutsu
Rank: B
Range: Close range/self
Nature Type: Magma

Description:
The user performs 15 handseals and their feet seemingly sink into the ground, but really magma is gathering at their feet and melting the very ground they stand on. Ths user will sink to their waist and will suddenly 'erupt' from the ground, with a trail of magma propelling them forward turning them into a literal torpedo. They will collide with the enemy and cause great damage, or disrupt jutsu and even escape from battle.

Weakness:
The user is vulnerable whilst sinking into the ground as it takes around 8 seconds, also there is a 3 second delay between sinking and erupting. If the trail of magma between the user and the ground is disrupted, the technique will cease but the user will still travel in a forward direction. The user cannot not steer very effectively either and can only slightly 'alter' their path to the target.


Name of Technique: Magma Release: Old Faithful
Type of Jutsu: Ninjutsu
Rank: C-A
Range: Long range
Nature Type: Magma

Description:
After forming handseals, the user slams either fist or foot into the ground which will cause a current of magma to travel undergound and to any location within view. The magma will erupt from the ground in a straight spout, catching the enemy off guard. Dependant on the rank the spout is 5-20 metres in radius and 10 to 15 high.

Weakness:
Where the magma will erupt will start to glow red and gtaher heat for 5 seconds before eruption. If the target moves out of the radius they are safe and only need to worry about splash from the spout, and of course when the magma stream falls from altitude.
