The year is now 4215, the human race has advanced considerably in it's technology, laser and railgun technology are commonplace, removing the need for many of the solid projectile weapons of the past,. Though they are still quite common as civilian firearms, sold to those who cannot afford other weaponry or those who prefer to use older weapons for whatever reason...
(Of course there are multitudes of different weapons and such about, this is just an example to give you an idea of what is about, so if you have your own ideas for what you want to use just write it into the CS if we get to that stage, if it isn't something that is commonly known then give a brief description of what it is/does.) Space travel has also been perfected, massive starships now transport people all over the place, the long journeys made survivable by stasis technology, many planets are currently being terraformed, but a few have been already (I'm leaving this bit open for character creation). And of course with a new form of travel comes a new form of war... The weaponry these warships can hold are potent enough to erase entire cities from the face of the earth in seconds, yet call also be precise enough to destroy inly a single house, or on some of the smallest vessels even single vehicles.

Being a fantasy of course you do not have to play a human character, there are multitudes of races about, so pretty much anything that you could normally see yourself playing in a fantasy RP you can have in here, with the addition of future tech (if you want it, though you will be at a bit of a disadvantage if you run about with a steel sword, but energy blades and such are another possibility )

In mythology there were many creatures about which were just not found in later years... People questioned where they had gone, and most doubted they ever even existed... But come the year 4100 some of these questions were answered, a few of the mythical creatures of old seemed to return, some came from other worlds, some still seemed to have come from nowhere... Over the years people grew accustomed to these new races... Of course there are some which just became known as predators while others integrated into human society, with varying degrees of success.

Though it was in the year 4200 that the dragons returned, though they were not quite as people had thought, they had a level of technology on par with that of the human race, and when it came to space travel they were far superior, They returned with mixed messages, originally stating how they acted as a peacekeeping force in the universe, doing there best to ensure that other races that managed to get into space, didn't cause too much of a problem... This caused a bit of a panic as people tried to work out if they were here to warn, or to destroy... Their fears were unfounded however as they were told that the dragon would be staying around for a while to monitor their progression but unless provoked there would be no violent action...

Now in 4215 things have gotten complicated... A group of dragons claiming to be decended from the group that visited eart thousands of years ago arrived in orbit above earth... They explained the reason they were there so long ago was to assess the possibility of anything on that planet developing space travel, they were met with hostility from the people of that time and after a while left, with the conclusion that such a barbaric species could never develop space travel, and now they have returned with the claim they do not deserve it. This claim of course caused outrage amongst the humans and brought to the fore some of the hostility they showed before... Though not all of them felt this way, so with once single event schisms were created both amongst humans, and amongst dragons, as some tried to keep things from devolving to all out war, while others tried there best to cause disruption and bring the humanity of old out from the humanity of now... Of course the various other races on the planet must now decide if they want to take sides, or stay out of it... But the events to come could affect everyone...

Bio: Raknarok is not a very large dragon, standing only 17ft tall, but he is one of the most ferocious fighters around, he likes to get amongst the people he is observing and for that reason is normally one of the best known outside his own race... He has quite an agressive attitude which many other dragons say makes up for his small size. Though he is easily provoked he will not kill unless he has no choice, Raknarok harbours a bitter resentment of the race called elves by mankind, after a war with them that resulted in the loss of his right foreleg and the side of his face. If met alone it could be easy to mistake him as part of the faction of dragons that wish to remove humanities space flight, but in actuall fact he wants nothing more than the race to flourish and expand further, and will let nothing, be it elf, human or dragon stand in the way of that goal.

Bio:zaria comes from a planet that aits co close to a star that its constanly ablaze, her kind grew and prospered there until the cold time came, there sun began to fade until it was gone and thier world froze over, she left before the planet died, she is one of the few left of her kind, she is extremely powerful and hot tempered, but is facinated by all other life, she is living flame so she must wear a special suit to keep from killing everyone around her, she can still unleash many form of her power while in the suit.

Appearance (description or pic):Crystal looks like a typical teenage girl, she has long blond hair and bright vibrant blue eyes. She is 5'2 and very petite, she weighs about 120 lbs. She has almost snow white skin with the lightest hits of blush within her high cheek bones. She is an atheletic build.

Weapons (if any): She carries a small swiss army knife, which is more for her peice of mind then anything else.
Bio:Born and raised within a large estate which her parents owned, Crystal has known nothing but a life of leasure. She is extreamly bright for her age and enjoys spending time away from her family, wanting to see how others around her live. She has had no reason to ever be scared of anyone as her Vampire side keeps most people away however she hates being lonely.

At the age of 16 she left her parents home and went off on her own, wanting to live life in the fast lane so to speak. Eventually she found out that her parents had died leaving all of there money to there daughter however she could not touch it till she turned 21.

Now Crystal lives life on the other side of the track, fighting to live day to day. She has even started to go back to her bare basic wants, feeding off of others to survive in the harsh environment.

Sivia is different only by colour as she carries blue feathers. Produces blue flames when performing feats of her own inherited power.

Weapons (if any):

Talons: The primary weapon of the Akuna is their talons which they use to rip through hostile's and even light metals. As long as they heat themselves to the appropriate temperatures of course. On their home world of Persui the Akuna use their talons for ripping materials apart to build homes and as a cutting tool for repairing and building structures.

Lungs of fire: Although the Akuna are unable to manipulate fire or produce the same equal deadly amount that a dragon can, the Akuna can produce fire from their beaks which they use primarily as a weapon only tool. The typical Akuna strategy is to build in a flock of numbers and combine flames to produce a staggering amount of heat in a deadly array of flame that few but a dragon can withstand.

Heated Core: Being birds of the flame Akuna can withstand intense temperatures and are generally unharmed by all fire. This being said among their kind, a high concentrated blast can often overheat them and cause them to burn out, incapacitating them or killing them completely depending on the condition of the ashes after death.

The Blind: The Akuna, when heated to a high enough temperature can charge and explode into a ball of bright flame, temporarily blinding, dazing or even incapacitating predators or perusers. This is a gift from their evolution over time as there used to be a predotor on their home planet that used to hunt the, but when they gained true sentience the Akuna pushed the predators into extinction, removing them completely form their home world, many believe it was a key turning point to their evolution of intelligence.


Bio:

Persui, the home world of the bird race known as the Akuna. The planet itself is not covered in flame as most predict, but is actually fairly rich with plant life and water. The planet consists mostly of meadows, mountains and large expanses of land and ocean which covers the entire planet. Over time they have managed to establish cities and even forms of travel using rune craft and gate ways local to their planet. Their capital city is named Orion and contains a large population of Akuna as well as most of their out of system travel operations. It is rare that they ever venture form their home star system but recently they have been venturing further and further across the galaxy in all out attempts to establish connections with other races. The Akuna can not speak as their anatomy, being close to the human bird, prevents them from being able to use words. They instead use a form of telepathy where they speak into the beings mind via brain neural path ways. This is also how they speak with each other and has been key to their contact with sentient life outside their home star system. Unknown to most the Akuna are not all red in colour, they in fact come in many differing colours of the spectrum. Red being the most common and green being the most rare.

The Akuna are peaceful and placid by nature but have a quick distrust to those who have wronged them. It is usually hard to change the opinion of an Akuna if it has already been made, although it is not impossible. Akuna have strict breeding rules as they have incredibly long life spans and usually refrain form mating until the leading hierarchs of their species declare the mating ritual to be in session. There is usually a few hundred years notice before the mating cycle is announced.

Sivia was a typical Akuna on her home world where she served mainly as constructor by building monolithic structures in the designs and architecture of her home world. When the option for adventure and discovery came to pass she took the opportunity as she always had a dire thirst for knowledge and the will to experience something more such as other cultures. So she decided to leave the home world along with hundreds of others, spreading across the galaxy in attempt to meet and make contact with new races. The Akuna are currently hoping to establish connections with multiple races in hopes of building a stronger community and to broaden their presence in the galaxy.

The Akuna average in size but tend to be about the same size as the human golden eagle, around sixty six to a hundred centre meters from talon to head. They are also sleek and fairly dynamic in shape giving them a smaller appearance when looked at.

Sivia and the Akuna are one of the fastest beings in the galaxy, some have been known to hit speeds considered nearly capable of hitting the sound barrier itself, although this is exceptional for an Akuna. Most of them are simply incredibly quick.

Apart from their Telepathic ability they have also evolved into controlling an extra sense called Telekinesis which they use as a substitute for having no hands or opposable thumbs to manipulate objects.

Bio: Talonki is a member of an ancient race that landed on earth shortly before the dragons. Their home world had been destroyed and they had crash landed on Earth with nothing to repair the ships with. When all of the creatures returned the Fenix-as they were truly named- returned as well after sleeping for thousands of years for their survival. The Fenix were much the race that they were fortold to be but there were a few important detail missing. Fenix's could become human. Usually when someone said they'd seen an angel it was almost always a Fenix. When a Fenix turned human it had much smaller wings on it's back. nowadays they have technology that makes their wings now appear. The Fenix's were also more than just fire creatures. They could be any element. Talon has been around a while and is often mistooken for someone very young and he has his moments when it seems he is but at others he can be wiser than most.

Today, I've decided to delve into the past of a good friend of mine. From the stories he occasionally tells, he's had quite the adventure once upon a time, but one can hardly trust the words of a man half drowned in whiskey.

I've taken the time to meet with him - sober, of course - and ask him covertly about himself. For the sake of simplicity, I shall record my findings in a chart below.

Name: Malenar Kel'thasa Moldori. He prefers when I call him Mal.

Race: Elven, so far as I've uncovered. In todays societies, however, it is difficult to discern.

Age: He found it rude that I had asked, simply stating "far older than you"

This is actually a small drawing of his father in the family armour that he had aquired somehow. He wouldn't tell me who drew it, but he is a spitting image of the depicted man, although he prefers to wear more mordern attire.

Weapons: His stories often include a number of weapons, including some of the magicks his father passed on to him, mainly healing based. I remember distinctly him using them on me when Iwas a child and I had scraped my knee, but he seemed rather cautious when he had done it. I know for a fact he carries around a small energy pistol - properly licensed - for protection, although a few stories mention him using a larger weapon he liked to call "Bessy," an energy rifle capable of firing at an alarming rate.

Bio: He often tells stories about his home life, growing up in a time where humans refused to believe his races exsistance. I find that to be a bit obsurd - no mortal could possibly live that long - but without furthur evidence to prove otherwise, I don't have much choice but believe him. His father seemed to be a man of tradition, teaching his child how to shoot and heal minor wounds and breakages in the heat of battle. He boasts that his father taught him how to ressurect the dead, but also warns that such a feat would put him into a coma for an undetermined amount of time, possibly years. This is again hard to believe, as raising the dead is, by all scientific pursuits, impossible. Then again, that's what we said about elves.

Other info: He doesn't always seem keen to reveal much about himself to anyone. He is a generally friendly, helpful individual, willing to listen, but also willing to be heard. His social habits depend on his mood; sometimes he is a man of few words, other times you can hardly get him to shut up.

Bio: Vermillion stands 20.01 feet tall larger then most dragons and as well as his multiple visions and ice abilities. though he is weak against fire due to this and keeps away from overly heated things. he has seen many things and after he with many other dragons arrived on earth claiming to be decended from the group that visited earth thousands of years ago and had arrived in orbit above earth. he has gained the ability to take human form with technology and studies the humans and other from the surface of the earth. he doesnt like humans and also agrees that they do not deserve these abilities of space/time travel.
Other info: His 6 eyes give him multiple visions such as thermal, infared, and night vision, reflector eyes, and laser. each eye gives the ability. if a eye is coverd or damdged the effect it controls will not work until repaired

Just ignore the turtle... Anyway, this is casual-clothed Ensis.

Weapons:

This is a gunblade. The weapons is designed to combine cutting motions and gun shots in a combo-like style. The two different images show the gunblade's sword form, as well as the gun form. Both forms can be changed between each other with the press of a button by the handle. When stored, the weapon is in the gun form.
Thanks to a couple of additional pieces of technology added by Ensis, the blade can gain a sort of electrical cover, allowing it to deflect attacks from laser weapons.

She has a special unit suit, which is pretty much a black suit with a blue circle (roughly 20x20 cm) on the back. Coming from the circle are glowing lines, also blue, going all around the body. These lines carry electricity around the whole suit, allowing it's different features.
The features are: a minor force-field generator in the right palm, allowing Ensis to form a shield for larger attacks, such as dragon breath. The shield is round, and is just a bit larger than enough to cover her whole arm.
The suit also allows a short-duration gravity nullifier. To put it simple, it can either remove gravitation, or lower it, only affecting the suit wearer. The best uses are to avoid falling damage or to perform jumps that would be difficult, even for Ensis. The effect only last for 1-2 seconds. It is activated by snapping one's fingers.

The Rainbow Racer is a solo-pilot spacecraft, which has been personally modified by Ensis. It has a gray-red-blue color scheme, with the same rainbow thundercloud mark as the one on Ensis' hoodie painted on both sides of the vehicle.
The Racer has two types of powerful rockets, one of them able to blow up a whole house and the other one being heatseeking, but only strong enough to blow up a spacecraft of about the same size as the Rainbow Racer. On the ships belly are laser shooters, which are prone to overheat.

Bio: Earth has people that are both with and against dragons. Ensis is one of those that are against dragons. In fact, she is part of an underground organization that works very hard to get rid of the dragons, mainly using violent methods. A few examples of the organizations methods are: Riots, killing dragon loyalists, framing the dragons for destruction that they themselves caused, and even killing a few dragons.
Ensis is one of the best in the organization, constantly working to get the dragons away from Earth, or kill them all, preferebly.

Other info: Homo Potentia (Human Power) are humans who has moved one step higher in the chain of human evolution. Their senses and reflexes are sharper than normal humans, and their muscles are less noticeble, yet just as powerful as normal humans. They commonly have stronger organs, which leads to increased stamina, however, they have no adrenaline rushes, as an increase of size for any of the organs would only be painful.
It is unknown why, but Homo Potentia are more often than not seen with unusual traits, such as odd natural color for hair, irises or even nails.

Bio: Claire was born and was immediatly banished after she shapeshifted into a human at the age of 7. Claire's mother a griffin tried to kill her for her diffrence, claire ran away and bearly survived childhood and grew up strong willed, wild, and shy. Claire has a quick temper and will fight to the death for what she believes in and who she cares for.

She uses two small Energy Daggers rather than a large energy sword. They help her speed, but they run out of energy often, and take a while to recharge.

Attached to her futuristic armor are sawblades hidden to the public eye. She only uses these during battle, and even then, they are a self defense mechanism.

Spiked Chakrams
She carries Spiked Chakrams that sometimes rotate. She can throw them far, but they are shabby when it comes down to close combat.

Biography: Model 003 "Angel" Evoker, or otherwise known simply as "Evoker" is a humanoid soldier created as a defense against the upcoming dragon attacks.

She was created close to three years ago from an inventor to who refuses to reveal his or her identity as they tend to remain hidden from prying eyes. She doesn't remember anything before she was created.

She roams from city to village, to village to city fulfilling her job as a defense soldier by protecting and defending citizens from anything. Although she is considered "invincible" she is only good with speed, and therefore physically weak if hit hard enough. She has a self - healing system and a backup system, but that could even break.

Despite being a humanoid robot, she has the emotions and thoughts of a regular being, and does not let her being artificial life affect her. She has many intelligence and is able to sneak between shadows.

Bio: (Add later) Her mother is a Dragon and Her Farther is a vampire. She lived with her mother and the other Dragons learning the way of the dragons. This is to observe other races to make sure that they aren't damaging the planet or the solar system. A few years after learning this her thirst for blood arose. At first she would eat/drink only 1 or 2 mountain bears every two months but her thirst for blood increased and she locked herself In a cave. Her mother would visit her with two mountain lions and two bears and she would eat those but it still wasn't enough. Her farther came just as she attacked and killed another dragon out of hunger and drained it dry. The other dragons now decided to kill her but her mother blocked the cave entrance. The father walked up to the mother and was allowed into the cave where he taught her the way of the vampire. He also taught her some vampire powers and how to control her thirst.

Human Form: Being experienced in Shape shifting, he has changed his human appearance many times to maintain his secrecy, Though with the return of mythical creatures, and eventually the dragons, there was little need for this Anymore, and He settled on an entertainingly unusual appearance that would suite his 'cover career'.

In his human guise currently he's known as the owner of a Famous Game Design Company, The Cliched name happens to be Dragon Gaming Inc, not one of the favored results of his imagination. It had been the modern cover that utilizes his Experienced imagination to feed the human's entertainment industry, and what better position to be revealed as a dragon in than one that has so many billions of fans.

However the colors would be more like black, with Red Belts, and stands just short of 7 feet.

Semi Human Form: A form he tends to favor when traveling at night, It's appearance tends to keep trouble at bay, and The Wings Tend to help him defend himself in the cases where 'trouble' involves something not easily disuaded. The wings aren't good for flying, They are a bit too large, However they work well for gliding still, and are thick with more natural Armor, allowing them to be used defensibly in many cases. He can also Form blades out of shape shifted scales to use as hand weapons.

This form has 'some' abilities of the dragon, moderately improved strength, Ability to spit venoms and acids, Immunity to disease, and that like.

Base Sea Dragon Form: With his Time on Earth for so long, His natural form has grown to adapt to it's specific type of gravity, and has become quite large, however with so much time technically alone amongst humans he had plenty of time to learn to alter his form and the size there-of. he keeps his greatest size concealed, prefering to avoid the damage it could cause, since the reappearance of the dragons his largest known size as a Feral form has been 40 feet, However he keeps to smaller sizes normally for the comfort of those around him, which can range anywhere between 1 and 20 feet, Being able to become quite small is useful for dissapearing.

This form [Get ideas from the pictures below] Is mainly black, with elaborate Red tribal designs, Large retractable fins along the legs and tail, as well as many horns, And more so his Fins, Horns, Spines, and Certain areas about his body, Have a Tendency to Glow certain colors, Normally Green, but they may change on occasion. Further-more, Hidden beneath his scales as well as in his wings are special glans to allow breathing under-water, and are heavily protected by his scales.

Micro Variable Blasters: Made to match the design of a certain 'live action' game He'd designed, He has small gloves on with focusing lenses between the fingers and in the palms that are used to produce energy blasts, normally they would be non lethal and simply stun a target, but his Version is powered up to be potentially lethal, and used as an effective method of detering threats from trying to take out his 'weaker' human disguise, He also has similar smaller versions implanted in his boots to assist jumping and striking when he needs them.

Otherwise His plain human form has no weapons.

Scale Blades, Wing Bashing, Venom/Acid spit, Strength.

Bio: Shoryu is one of the eldest Dragons on earth at present, Having been delivered to the planet before the middle ages began an the other dragon 'visitors' came, on his own interest and others, to evaluate the inhabitants of the planet without interfering with It's natural Developement. He'd been experienced in shape shifting even then, and was quick to 'blend in' as one of the humans of the era, And found it ever unusual how they seemed to consider other humans as 'gods' in that age, simply because they were wearing gold, or larger, or had killed something impressive. He was incredibly fascinated by their legends and societies, and under the guise of average low class citizens, as well as animals on occasion, did everything he could to learn about them at the time, Moving between different civilizations as they developed, Though he kept himself separate from the wars that took place from time to time.

the Civilizations that fascinated him the most at the time were the norse/vikings, and the Oriental Civilizations, one seemed to have 'dragon' gods, though many were of the evil variety, While the other Revered dragon's as gods before any other, and had multiple benevolent Deities that controlled many things, like the weather, tides, and so on. It excited him to think that he may encounter other dragons on the planet, though he never actually ran into any, deciding that either their legends were based on elaborate imaginations, or from very stealthy dragons interacting with and protecting them.

However, He soon found himself drawn to other more western parts of europe following 'tales' of dragons and 'noble' knights slaying them as monsters using just armor and steel weapons. He 'found' other dragons. though as neutral as he'd devoted himself to staying, they were very clearly in the midst of their own type of war, With thousands of humans trying to hunt them like some sort of utimate trophy. As much as he hated it he couldn't openly interfere or reveal himself, though that hadn't stop him from causing timely 'accidents' that let some get away, Or slipping information to the other dragons to warn when something was about to happen. He was however pleased to find some humans open minded enough to see dragons as something other than a beast, some even respected them, though they weren't numerous or powerful enough to change the opinion of either side about the other.

He kept himself a little more active in human society, of course refraining from pushing their civilizations any higher in advancement by his own hand, though it did seem that they hit some surges of technology on their own at times. He watched how they changed over the years, in addition to technological advancements there were many social advancements as well, though so many were still hostile and over protective of their 'territory' and possessions, the number of open minded types was growing. Their natural advancement helped him grow excited though, despite the more and more destructive wars, they drew ever closer to the age of space travel, and He was certain they'd be noticed soon. Of course he was also discouraged by the rapidly growing weakness of so much of humanity, and the growing control that their leaders held over them.

It was a bit dissapointing when it took so long for other creatures to appear again, but once non humans started to become known as parts of society, he expanded his role and took a more direct place with creating his own company under the guise of a more unique human form. He was still known as a human for most of those decades however, creating new types of entertainment To keep things active and exciting. When dragons finally re-appeared however he was far more excited by the chance that he could finally stop requiring disguises, though certain that he'd been long forgotten after so many years, He'd be overjoyed if someone somehow remembered him. though in contrast to his innitial excitement, the mixed reactions to the dragon's return disturbed him considerably. when the others from the middle ages returned as well to try and keep humans on the ground, sparking up old hostilities by so many other humans, He started to go back over so many old memories, even after revealing that he was a dragon leading a company already, He still is deciding if it's time to stop being neutral and start sharing all of his experiences in hopes that it could push peace higher on the priorities of both sides, or all 4 sides in many cases.

There's actually a Myriad of things in mind that fit here, But It's too late and i'm too tired to list 'all' of em xD But simply relevant ones right now are an ability to 'read' people, learned skill, not the magic mind reading kind, An extensive knowledge of humans and their history from living around them for so long, He's also older, grown, and durable, and i'll generally operate him personality wise as i would myself.

Plasma discs - To start off, they are two metal discs about 10 cm wide and 4 cm thick with a handle built within the centre of it and a button that, when pressed, causes a black metal circular blade to pop out, making it about 30 cm from one end to the other, the disc itself gradually becoming thinner the further out it has gone, it looks somewhat like a weird record. Using the electro-magnets in his hands, he will launch these discs at his targets, upon leaving the safe grip of his hands, the whole bladed part of the disc will be engulfed with plasma and be magnetically navigated by Dave's electro magnets, having to direct the spinning plasma discs through gestures with his hands.

Kinetic barrier-shades - These never leave his face, never. What they do is simply project a barrier that encompasses Dave's body and takes the brunt of damage from attacks made towards him, heavily reducing damage dealt to his body.

Bio: Like plenty of people in the world now who have enhanced themselves bionically, Dave has improved himself how he likes, this is more to suit his lifestyle choice of being a fighter, willing to accept all challengers, he gets paid to do this too as he has the fights he takes part in recorded and aired on the internet, for a small fee, of course. These shows are really his only form of income, though, he is known to rap, having shown off sometimes on his site instead of a fight, he would have a rap-battle instead, much to the audience's pleasure.

His home is pretty average, as is everything else about him apart from his work, which was mentioned not a moment ago. He doesn't seem to have any cares about recent events, so anything that's happened lately hasn't been any of his concern.

Other info: He's never been seen not wearing his shades, it is as simple as that, it's almost as if they're glued to his face. He's also rather sarcastic and confident in himself, his self confidence and arrogance rival that of dragons, some people believe.

Bio:Born and raised within a large estate which her parents owned, Crystal has known nothing but a life of leasure. She is extreamly bright for her age and enjoys spending time away from her family, wanting to see how others around her live. She has had no reason to ever be scared of anyone as her Vampire side keeps most people away however she hates being lonely.

At the age of 16 she left her parents home and went off on her own, wanting to live life in the fast lane so to speak. Eventually she found out that her parents had died leaving all of there money to there daughter however she could not touch it till she turned 21.

Now Crystal lives life on the other side of the track, fighting to live day to day. She has even started to go back to her bare basic wants, feeding off of others to survive in the harsh environment.

Sivia is different only by colour as she carries blue feathers. Produces blue flames when performing feats of her own inherited power.

Weapons (if any):

Talons: The primary weapon of the Akuna is their talons which they use to rip through hostile's and even light metals. As long as they heat themselves to the appropriate temperatures of course. On their home world of Persui the Akuna use their talons for ripping materials apart to build homes and as a cutting tool for repairing and building structures.

Lungs of fire: Although the Akuna are unable to manipulate fire or produce the same equal deadly amount that a dragon can, the Akuna can produce fire from their beaks which they use primarily as a weapon only tool. The typical Akuna strategy is to build in a flock of numbers and combine flames to produce a staggering amount of heat in a deadly array of flame that few but a dragon can withstand.

Heated Core: Being birds of the flame Akuna can withstand intense temperatures and are generally unharmed by all fire. This being said among their kind, a high concentrated blast can often overheat them and cause them to burn out, incapacitating them or killing them completely depending on the condition of the ashes after death.

The Blind: The Akuna, when heated to a high enough temperature can charge and explode into a ball of bright flame, temporarily blinding, dazing or even incapacitating predators or perusers. This is a gift from their evolution over time as there used to be a predotor on their home planet that used to hunt the, but when they gained true sentience the Akuna pushed the predators into extinction, removing them completely form their home world, many believe it was a key turning point to their evolution of intelligence.


Bio:

Persui, the home world of the bird race known as the Akuna. The planet itself is not covered in flame as most predict, but is actually fairly rich with plant life and water. The planet consists mostly of meadows, mountains and large expanses of land and ocean which covers the entire planet. Over time they have managed to establish cities and even forms of travel using rune craft and gate ways local to their planet. Their capital city is named Orion and contains a large population of Akuna as well as most of their out of system travel operations. It is rare that they ever venture form their home star system but recently they have been venturing further and further across the galaxy in all out attempts to establish connections with other races. The Akuna can not speak as their anatomy, being close to the human bird, prevents them from being able to use words. They instead use a form of telepathy where they speak into the beings mind via brain neural path ways. This is also how they speak with each other and has been key to their contact with sentient life outside their home star system. Unknown to most the Akuna are not all red in colour, they in fact come in many differing colours of the spectrum. Red being the most common and green being the most rare.

The Akuna are peaceful and placid by nature but have a quick distrust to those who have wronged them. It is usually hard to change the opinion of an Akuna if it has already been made, although it is not impossible. Akuna have strict breeding rules as they have incredibly long life spans and usually refrain form mating until the leading hierarchs of their species declare the mating ritual to be in session. There is usually a few hundred years notice before the mating cycle is announced.

Sivia was a typical Akuna on her home world where she served mainly as constructor by building monolithic structures in the designs and architecture of her home world. When the option for adventure and discovery came to pass she took the opportunity as she always had a dire thirst for knowledge and the will to experience something more such as other cultures. So she decided to leave the home world along with hundreds of others, spreading across the galaxy in attempt to meet and make contact with new races. The Akuna are currently hoping to establish connections with multiple races in hopes of building a stronger community and to broaden their presence in the galaxy.

The Akuna average in size but tend to be about the same size as the human golden eagle, around sixty six to a hundred centre meters from talon to head. They are also sleek and fairly dynamic in shape giving them a smaller appearance when looked at.

Sivia and the Akuna are one of the fastest beings in the galaxy, some have been known to hit speeds considered nearly capable of hitting the sound barrier itself, although this is exceptional for an Akuna. Most of them are simply incredibly quick.

Apart from their Telepathic ability they have also evolved into controlling an extra sense called Telekinesis which they use as a substitute for having no hands or opposable thumbs to manipulate objects.
