So...anymore backround on the whole plot or?...
Fuck it, we'll do it live!
sure, gimme a sec.
Here's the story so far:
The world is a large place, geographically similar to our own. The humans have risen to power in Egypt and spread out all over Europe, Africa, and Asia; however, no human has ever set foot on the western hemisphere.
Over on the western hemisphere, while man was still fighting for fire, evolution was taking a turn for the stranger. It was making creatures that walked like men but were beasts. These creatures, self-named Anthropes, were as peaceful as the real animal kingdom. There was hunting among them, fighting for supremacy, and internal struggles.
Much, MUCH later, over on the eastern half of the world, there rose a group of assassins named the Arches. This collection of men and women skilled in the art of taking life were plotting to take over the world. They sent some of their members to mingle with the upper crusts of humans and to try and leverage their ideas into the humans politically and not forcefully. This worked to some degree and the Arches found themselves in several high end positions, but that was not enough for them. They decided to start a war from the shadows. This war lasted one hundred years and the death toll was incalculable.
During the war, the Arches had sent navy ships to scout out the unexplored sections of the sea. These sailors found the Anthropes and saw that the land on which they set foot was rich with minerals and flora. Most of the sailors decided to forsake their warring land to live in this paradise. Others decided to attack the natives and try to conquer this new land. These would be conquerors fell quickly to the combined might of the Anthropes and the Settlers (the name the sailors who stayed decided to take). Having fought side-by-side, the Anthropes grew to trust the Settlers and they started co-existing. The settlers taught the Anthropes English (the only language used in the eastern world) and brought about peace between the many tribes of Anthropes. The Anthropes, in return, gave the Settlers land to live on and guaranteed food sources.
Now that the war is finished, the Arches have set their eyes yet again on the unexplored regions of the sea. They were somewhat troubled as to what befell their previous explorers and they decided to enlist the help of a large number of pirate fleets. Also, as a secondary precaution, the Arches sent one of their own with all of the ships excluding the pirate ships.
The Anthropes have known peace for far too long and are unprepared for such an attack. Also, none of the naval ships know what they’re up against seeing as no human had ever set foot on the land and ever returned to the east.
Ahh, thanks much. I can't wait for this to start up. Only one question, would we all meet at the settlement or?..
Fuck it, we'll do it live!
Sailors will begin their journey at a port in the east. Probably in a bar, if they're not on the same ship.
Anthropes all typically live near one major settlement in the west, so they'll most likely meet there.
Pirates Can meet anywhere. They're pirates...
Arches will meet with the sailors at the port.
^^^ above is just what the opening posts will be for character intros and what not. Traveling the sea will, for the most part, be skipped over due to the fact that Anthropes have to sea-faring capabilities so the meat of the story wouldn't occur until the easteners reached the west. This is just the idea in my head, if you don't want your character being introduced this way, that's perfectly fine.
