Replication
- Description: Nexus can replicate (Copy) things by touching them. It doesn’t matter how detailed the items are, what matters is the mass. The copies will last indefinitely as long as they are close to him (for example on his person, in his hands or an arm’s length away from him.)
-Limitations:
- Nexus can copy only once every four seconds.
- Nexus can only copy things within one unit. For example, he can copy a clip and every bullet inside but if he would copy shotgun shells, there would be four seconds in between each unless a certain amount of them are gathered in a single unit.
- Nexus can only copy inanimate objects.
- Nexus can only copy so much at one time, depending on the mass. He can for example only copy five handgun clips at most and have them all in existence at the same time at this point.
- Everything that is not within a certain range of Nexus will vanish after three minutes. (That being more than an arm’s length away from him)
- An object’s mass decides if it can be copied or not depending on his current level of power. Nexus can copy a big rock, not a huge rock; it would be too much mass.

Casual: Nexus is mostly seen in a t-shirt and a pair of jeans. Sometimes he wears a sweater and the colors of his clothes vary drastically from one day to the other. One day he might be wearing a jet black outfit while the next day he’ll be wearing a blue t-shirt with a big yellow smiley on it.
He often wears several tribal bracelets of leather and brown wooden pearls.
Other Noticeable Features:

Bio: Leo was born on a plane on its way to America from the Middle East. His mother Esmeralda worked as a journalist and decided that one last time in front of the camera would do well before the baby arrived. Luckily she was right, though it was not planned to give birth to the boy on an airplane. Never the less, Leo had an ok childhood and went to school like any other child. Ever since baby steps Leo has enjoyed the company of others and enjoys being social. Getting friends was never that hard but being the adventures wild child that he was, he often left groups from time to time to pursue his own short term goals.

Leo had to more than once take the role of parent and child both; he had to raise himself a lot. Esmeralda was very consumed with work and could not fill the role of mother. To escape the feeling of loneliness every time Leo stepped foot at home he created an own adventurous world where he saw wonders in every corner. He started exploring the city at a very young age and like a cat always found the way back home.

He often wrote stories of swords and sorcery and developed a love for cooking. Leo eventually grew older and entered the years of high school. During these years a lot of changes were made to his life. He met his first lifelong friend, Dorian whom he spent almost every day with. His passion for cooking reached new heights and he developed a new interest in firearms after following Dorian to one of his shooting lessons.
The situation at home was mostly the same; Esmeralda knew the camera better than she knew her own son. In fact she had been noticed and grew ever higher within the world of media.

Leo had grown past the feelings of loneliness and lack of love from his mother through the years and Dorian had filled a space in his life that he never expected.
During high school another discovery was made by Leo while preparing a meal. While cutting the meat he noticed how when he raised his hand, a knife was dropped and almost went through his foot. Luckily he managed to get out of the way but the shock came when he noticed that the knife was still in his hand…and on the floor.
Leo blinked a few times and reached for the kitchen knife and brought them both to the chopping block. It was the same knife, in every way; it even had the meat fat on it. “Dorian…did you buy another knife like this one?” The story of Dorian is that of an orphan. He had been abused by his parents and tossed aside, after a series of paper work and complications he could finally move in with his best friend.

“Uh, no.” Dorian approached Leo.

“Oh…kay.” Leo went to the sink and was going to wash off the knife he had used and decide to take care of the rest of dishes while he was at it.

Dorian picked up the replicated knife. “Hey aren’t you going to wa-..” It vanished in his hand before their eyes. At that point it was clear what had happened.
Leo spent many hours trying to understand the situation and Dorian helped to the best of his abilities. “I’ve heard of this thing called MutantBook, maybe you should try posting there, someone might be able to help us figure out how to handle this.” It was quite heartwarming to have Dorian by his side, not even the fact that Leo was a mutant seemed to have scared him off.
This was during the first year of high school. As the years continued Leo got more and more used to his powers and evolved with them.
After high school both of them moved out of Esmeralda’s home and moved into an apartment together. Today Leo studies to become a chef and Dorian works in a clothing store.

Additional Notes: Beneath the cuddly, huggable and smiling surface Leo is actually a gun nut. While it doesn’t change his personality or kindness towards others, it might still give the wrong impression at times.

Yeah, you can rejoin. You can even use your canon character and alias if you wish, but I'd like to see what happened since the events of the first one in your bio, if you wouldn't mind.

@Jill: Just a small update about charging things with kinetic energy: just don't do it to characters. I don't want to see any insta-kills.

That's fine, do what you will. And I know the word 'character driven' is thrown around a lot, and I hate using it, but that's mostly what this RP is. So the baddest villain you may throw down against might be in Jill's gang or Frostbite. Unless one is made, which probably won't happen, although I'm not averse to players making random NPC mutants as long as they don't go over the power limit.

Frostbite killed left and right in the last RP, and we had another guy with the power to create diamonds and use them offensively slay quite a few as well.

But anyway, I'm thinking about the possibility that Para-Medic could still be alive and a very dangerous villain. Though I'm thinking of how he can actually be defeated, since his powers allow him to break down, mend and grow living organisms. He is practically invincible. So I'm guessing the only way to 'limit' him is his mentality. Eh, I'll think about it more before I suggest anything xD
