Novice Hunger Games Enthusiast!

Okay, so I've recently watched the Hunger Game movie, and I think it's pretty damn awesome I haven't read the books (hence why I said I'm a novice) and am looking to do an RP on it. I don't have much in ways of plot or specifications (i.e. what district they come from etc) I am willing to play male or female, but I'm better at playing girls and you can play a boy or a girl too but I don't do same sex romances. (But I am looking for a partner who's at least seen the movie or read the book(s))
One of the main points I'd like to make though is that I don't want the entire RP to be about the games! The RP would probably start quite a few months before the games or something like that and I'd like some ideas as to what could happen after the games.
