The future and the present are times that should never collide. However, the future is ruled by a monarch. And while they have supreme rule, something is happening – the world and civilization is close to being pulled apart at the seams. So an outside force has stepped in, in hopes of ‘saving the future’ and perhaps even ‘the past’. How will this process of saving the world happen? By time-switching two beings: a princess of the future for a commoner of the present. And now both must now learn to live in their new world.

Okay, so above is the rough sketch of the plot. So before we jump into the character sheets, do we want to discuss together what this new future is like? And perhaps add a little more details to the plot?

Sorry I haven't responded. Each time I would respond on my phone it would eat my post, and then the last two days have been finals.

Anyways!
I was thinking of a technologically advanced future - hover crafts and maybe even spaceships are the norm. The internet has been replaced with something a bit more... advanced that completely connects every individual together - somehow. Therefore the government exists to make sur ethat this advanced system sorta runs smoothly - as well as to just do what a government needs to do to keep its people safe. It is a monarchy though - since the people were tired of groups of men bickering and decided that it would be best if just one person - one family was raised to be the 'right people the rule'.

Does that make any sense?

That sounds like an awesome idea. Go for it.
I’ll probably have the royals be siblings – and the one left in his time will be the one who will inherit the throne, which is why he might see the sacrifice of his sister as mandetory probably.

Umm… anything else we need to discuss about the plot?

Biography: Born in Russia, Iz started learning with computers at the orphanage she was left at, sneaking late at night to access them. She developed quite a talent and passion for such work, being able to get into the locked computers with ease even after her caretakers starting taking precautionary measures against whatever outside deviant was changing the daily menus to be nothing but cake. After a stakeout, they discovered that the culprit was indeed one of their own charges-Iz, at the tender age of seven. The adults decided to nuture her talent, giving her a computer of her own with promises to follow the rules, and putting her in advanced classes at school. It didn't work out exactly as planned though-a couple of weeks after her 18th birthday, she was caught hacking into the CIA and poking around. She was arrested, quietly, by the US government, who gave her a choice-either go to prison for a long while, or join them as an independent agent. She chose the latter. Iz now lives in the United States, earning money doing small-time work for the government (they won't give her really important assignments for a while). She still secretly engages in less than reputable hacking jobs, and occasionally (rarely) has to be bailed out of trouble by her superiors. They only put up with her because her skills have the potential to be the best in the world.

Biography: After his house burned down, and his older brother who had been raising him in leiu of their drugged out parents was killed, 15 year old djfkad lived on the streets. It was a harsh difference from even the poor lifestyle he'd had with his brother. There were times he might've died, if not for the handouts and kindness of others. He fought a lot, gaining strength in his malnourished limbs, and when times got desperate, resorted to selling his body. He absolutely refused help from authorities-after the possibility of arson by his brother's debt collectors was never investigated, after they failed to bring his brother's killers to justice, after they treated him harshly in his daily life, all his trust in the police and their ilk was gone. Salvation came one night, after a particullarly brutal fight over something he couldn't recall. He wandered, concussed, into a church, and was immediately taken under the wing of the priest there. He treated his wounds and allowed Leo to live with him. Now, for 4 years, he has stayed there, helping around to earn his keep.
