Nikki became annoyed at his rudeness and looked over to Deuce and Nikolai, "Can I please shoot him?" she asked annoyed then looked back at the boy. What the hell was this boy going on about? Nikki was starting to get even more annoyed not knowing what he was talking about. She really wished Gale was here to help her calm down.

Nikolai took a deep breath to stop himself rushing over and attacking that man. He had fed not that long ago, but his predatory side was surfacing quickly, so he had to calm down, and try not to get agitated.

Nikolai frowned at the word ‘type’, not sure what it meant. Maybe it was dialect, he thought. He was not making sense at all, and He found himself becoming more aggressive thinking about what ‘type’ meant, not sure whether he was being insulted.

But Nikki’s request calmed him; he had no desire for her to kill anyone, “Nikki calm yourself, as annoying as this man maybe, he still may know a thing or two,” He smiled at Nikki, “Then if he truly is insane you can shoot him; why let him suffer?”

OOC: I'll add that to the list of reasons to hate auto correct. It now says name. I'll post after Josh. But in my opinion, hello is less rude than 'let us all shoot you'.

"I don't think I will... Do well in company where simple words are enough a reason to kill. Yeah, I'm gonna go, if all you want to do is perpetually threaten to kill me. And before you ask, no, I do not have any idea what this place is, what happened to this place, or why we are here. Now. I strongly wish to keep living, and it seems it would only be a matter of time before I die with you lot, so I think I will try it alone." Will turned around and began to walk off in the direction he came, scanning around for his pokemon as he walked.

Deuce had remained quiet through everything, from his two new comrade's well acquaintances anyway reactions to the stranger to everything he had said, up until the point he walked off in the other direction rambling about Pokemon again.

He sighed. Everyone was on edge and the fact remained that no one was even sure what was still lurking around the ruins

he gently set the fuzzy guy down on the ground before looking at the other two.

"I can't let him wander off again I'm going after him."

Deuce trodded off in Will's direction, but called to him as he drew near so as not to alarm him.

"Will, look sorry about that, we're all just on edge and a little confused right now" he sighed " It's safe to assume we are all better off in a group right now. Please come back, and besides, all of us are still feeling each other out. my name is Deuce. If you can explain a little more about what your Pokemon are, maybe we can look together? For what its worth, I'll do my best not to let everyone kill each other," he chuckled in an attempt to lighten the mood,, but doubted it would have an impact. first impressions were indeed always the most important in any kind of relationship. but he tried his best and had everyone's best interest in mind.

Out like a light without so much as a pillow to ease his fall, poor Beev couldn't avoid aggravating his bruises. Though by sheer dumb luck, he managed not to give himself a bloody nose. Or even so much as a chipped tooth or broken nail. However, all that really mattered to him was.........

Yes, being somewhat "child-sized", the Deuce probably didn't have much trouble lifting him and slinging him over shoulder. And Beev, being so out of it, remained blissfully unaware of his potato-sack status. Though his soft rabbity nose started to twitch again, now that he'd been lifted somewhat clear of the stench. Still, his body and tail stayed limp as the proverbial rag doll. His heartrate and breathing now calmed. No dreams, but in his unconsciousness, what with the Deuce having treated his wounds, Beev's alien biochemistry/physiology started to respond. This dreamless sleep itself, helping his metabolism to heal. No miraculous regenerative phenomenon, but the cut on his bruised and bandaged arm stopped bleeding. And his pain eased. He'd probably be sore for several days, but...

... he would live.

However, what with all the noise and fuss going on, not to mention suddenly being moved and set down, well...

... "Dudes and dudess... let poor Beev here have his rest!" A yawn and a scratch as he sat up, fur all ruffled. Looking like something a very large cat had dragged in... "Not cool to wake the dead an' all. An' it's obvious Kansas is in no way anywhere near this oh so not excellent graveyard...."

Beev managed to regain his feet, to get his bushy, soot-stained and matted tail back behind him as he shook himself. And sneezed. Then...

... "It would be sooo awesome if I knew where the nearest bathroom was..." Pawhands went to crotch as his whole body fidgeted uncomfortably... "really gotta pee........."

Nikolai looked at Deuce go after Will and rebuked himself for being as aggressive as he was. He knew that Will maybe of use to them, even if he didn’t make any sense, and that as they all seemed to be lost here it would probably be best if they stuck together. He just hoped that Deuce would be able to convince him to come back after their hostile display. He looked to Nikki, as if to say something, but the furry man woke up, and starting talking what seemed to be using more dialect, or idiolect, than the soldier boy. But at least it seemed he was friendly; Deuce had healed him when he stumbled in like a drunk.

“Finally,” he said, turning to fully face the man, at least he thought it was male, “the mammal is awake, and your name is Beev?” Nikolai asked, ignoring his speak of ‘Kansas’ and ‘dudes’.

Nikolai did not know what ‘pee’ meant, but by the way he was acting: his body squirmed, and his hands going to his crotch, Nikolai could guess that it meant urinate. Once he got this he looked a little confused, was Beev not an animal from… somewhere? Surely he wouldn’t need a toilet.

“There is no toilet here, it is a ruin,” Nikolai looked at the cracked walls, some parts covered in lichen, “So I guess that you’ll have to go privately somewhere, where no one could see you,” He flashed another smile, “That shouldn’t be to difficult for an animal like you.”

Nikolai then turned his back, listening to see if Beev would reply, and spoke to Nikki, “You know it’s all your fault that he was scared off,” Nikolai said, talking about the soldier, “If you hadn’t pointed your arrow at him he would of felt a lot less threatened,” Nikolai finished with a jesting smile.

Nikki returned her arrow to its sheath and felt stupid for doing that again. She couldn't believe that she made herself so unapproachable to the point where the person was just annoyed with her. She ran a hand through her hair and looked over to Nikolai, "I'm just gonna look around..." she said slightly depressed by her actions. She then began wandering the ruins not picking up the different auras all around them.

“Oh damn it,” Nikolai muttered under his breath. He had only meant what he said to Nikki as a joke, but she seemed to take it seriously. She was now looking around the ruins, and Nikolai could still go over and apologize, but what was he going to say, “Sorry if I made you feel bad; I was only joking”? He did not know, but he would have to say something, he didn’t want her going around all disheartened because of a joke he made.

Nikolai turned to the furry man, Beev, “Sorry, before you answer, I just have to go and talk to Nikki over there,” and without waiting for an answer Nikolai paced quickly across the ruins to Nikki, who seemed to be looking for more people.

“Hey,” he said, to alert her of his presence, “I just wanted to make sure that you know what I said back there was not meant seriously,” he smiled weakly, “I wasn’t sure so I’m just checking.” Nikolai paused, looking at her face, intrigued, “It was just cautionary, what you did, and anyway, I suggested that you kept your bow trained on him, and may have snarled at him, so your actions were not at all lonesome. And don’t worry about it either, I’m sure Deuce can convince him that we are just on the edge,” he smiled once more, before looking around the ruins, “Sense anything?” he asked.

Will turned around, out of site of the others, and spoke to Deuce.
"Well, nice to meet you, Deuce. I'll be honest, its unlikely I can survive with them if I don't at least find my gun, let alone my companions. However, I can show you what they look like."
'HUD Display Team, holographic, life sized' he thought, the HUD picking up the mental words.

A bright light, that was thin at the start but widened out into a full hologram projected from the helmet to 3 metres in front of him. It first displayed a Combusken. It was a bird-like humanoid creature, one metre tall, possessing tan feathers on its upper body and orange feathers on its lower body, as well as talons on the end of its feet, a small pointed tail, and a tuft of crest feathers on its head. Then, after the image rotated 360 degrees, it displayed a Skarmory. The Skarmory is a large bird, just over one and a half metres tall. It has a long neck, and is covered in metallic feathers. Their wing feathers, except the most outward feather on each wing, are a deep red, their eyes are yellow, and the majority of their body is a silver-grey colour. Finally, it displayed a Gallade. It was a humanoid, little over 1.5 metres but shorter than Skarmory, with strange blade-like arms, white spikes coming from the side of its head, and a green helmet with a tuft on top.
"Now, in action, they look more like- well, if you put the helmet on, I can show you a recording of a battle from my perspective. The best demonstration would be... ah, the battle to liberate Lilycove city from the Aqua. Of course, if you would prefer, I can project it in a hologram, but it would be less accurate."

She looks over to him, "Yeah. I could tell there are other people...or creatures...or animals...or whatever. But, I could tell there are other life forms. I just can't pinpoint exactly where they are she replied. She continued to look around the ruins, hoping to find the others that she could sense. But she couldn't shake an ominous feeling that was lurking around the ruins.
