Biography/Personality:
Tom was born in Osaka, Osaka Prefecture, Japan. But he spent most of his life in the United States, specifically the suburbs of Philadelphia. Both his parents were Japanese, but he carried the first name of an American. His mother passed away when he was just two, and his father was heartbroken. As Tom grew up, his father taught him more about Japan. By the age of 15, Tom was fluent in Japanese. When Tom turned 16, his father gave him the family Katana. Tom knew how important it was to his father, and he had been training with a bokken, a wooden version of a Katana, for years. He also picked up on his Buddhist principles around this age. When he was 17, his father remarried a Japanese-American woman by the name of Anne. Finally, his father found what he had lost for fifteen years. Not long after Tom graduated and moved out of his father's house, he took up many odd jobs, finally finding one as a local shop clerk, but he trained regularly with a pistol and his katana. When he turned 25, he entered a police academy, wanting to help people in any way he could.

Then Day One came, he was still a cadet in the police academy. He was at his house, gardening, when he heard the sirens, when he heard the shots. Tom grabbed whatever he saw useful and got into his car, driving off. But he didn't get far, ditching his car to go on foot. He then led around forty-five refugees to a government evacuation zone. He proceeded to lead more refugees toward the west, believing that safe havens were there. During that time, he became a legend. He now just keeps heading west, in hopes that possibly his father is there.

Clothing: Basically what is up in there. However, his clothes are more dirt covered and had a few blood stains on them. He has black trousers on, which have some rips in them, and are covered with dirt. He also has a golden wrist watch and a gas mask. He also has a backpack

Biography/Personality: David was born to a blue-collar family in the suburbs of Philadelphia. When he was 19, he visited his family in a reunion. But, the zeds decided to crash in. His father and David held them off so that everyone could escape. David left when his father urged him to leave. The only thing David has left of his father is his watch that he gave to him when he left the suburbs. He has been wandering west ever since, hearing of safe havens in the Rockies.

• Leader History - Vladislav was born in a small village in Kevolchan Republic. As a child, he saw his father go off to war, and never return. At the age of 14, he joined the Young Pioneer Party, which was a Communist organizations for children 13 to 17 . When he was 19, he was caught spreading propaganda against the Republic and was sent to a labour camp. That only increased his anger against the state, and when he was released at age 28, he was determined to start a revolutionary front against it. He had gathered two men who he had worked with in the labour camp, Dmitry Chernov and Oleg Kostov, and set out to overthrow the Federation.

  The Rival State. They are supplied, much to the Front's displeasure, by them. Vladislav explained that The Ozelans may be the enemy of all Kevolchans, they needed their backing if they want their cause to overthrow the Federation.
  
  IAS. The International Aid Society is a valuable friend of the front. In Vladislav's own words 'They can provide us with supplies and food for years to come!' Though, not everyone in the Front thinks its the best idea, as it might show weakness.
  
  The Old Army. Vladislav understood the feelings of these war veterans. His father himself was one, but he had been killed in the Reunification War. The angry veterans, kicked out of the army in favour of younger, more state loyal soldiers, need someone to turn to.

  The Communist Revolutionary Front was born out of anger and spite from its founder, Vladislav Sidorov's imprisonment at a Labour Camp. For nine years he slaved over digging in a quarry or building parts of rifles, and that took his toll on him. When he left, he and two other men he had befriended started the Communist Revolutionary Front, based off of Vladislav's experience in the Young Pioneers, fielded 12 men, not including Vladislav or his co-leaders.

Ian Phillips has short light brown hair, which he never lets get too long. His eyes are a hazel colour, which tend to jump between being hazel or being green. He is Caucasian with a normal skin tone, due to where he grew up and the lack of interest in 'tanning.' In all, his body is in a prime condition for his age, which is expected of all UNFS soldiers.

Psychological Assessment:
Ian Phillips has a hardworking, selfless, determined personality. The downside of that is that he has a tendency to lose his temper on his comrades. He also drinks on the off occasion and gambles. He is also loyal to his comrades, no matter how bad they are.
Service Record and Remarks:
Ian was born in Luton, Bedfordshire, England, United Kingdom in 2007 to an Afghanistan War British Army veteran and a stay-at-home mother. During his childhood, he was a very active child, usually jogging up and down the street. In school, he normally got high grades. When the aliens arrived, it was like a dream come true. He had read all about space in books, and always wanted to go up in space.

When he was just about five when the aliens arrived. In the UK, not many people had attempted to resist them, knowing the cost of doing so. He grew up in a world unlike his parents did, one more open. He always wanted to go live on Mars, but his parents could never afford it, even with the government pension that his father got.

When he turned 18, and graduated from school, he went to a training school for the space fleets. After graduating four years later, he was posted to two different places:

For a half a year, he was assigned to the Romana Orbital Station, in between Mars and Earth, as one of the gunnery soldiers had to be transferred to Mars for a wound he suffered during target practice. It wasn't his average thing, but he had been trained in two things. Gunnery and Navigation. In all, the half a year he spent in the Romana Orbital Station dulled him.

For the other half, he was posted at the UNFS Winter, which didn't see much action, or at least for him, during his assignment there. After spending time watching empty space, and occasionally moving interplanetary, he finally got orders to transfer to the UNFS Earth.

History:
Edmund Darlington III was born to a lower middle class family, which is a surprise to most, considering his regal-looking name. His father worked at the local pub, and his mother was a florist, and were barely paying to keep rent and provide for the family in their tiny flat in Homerton, London. At school, Edmund was picked on constantly, and it was not a surprise to him if he was beaten up or got into a fight.

At the age of 17, the mephix virus was first identified. Edmund was drafted into a pseudo-Pals Battalion, made up of his school-mates. As his 'comrades' dropped like flies, he kept himself hid away from the people who had come in contact with the horrid virus. The surviving members of the Homerton Pals were sent to Australia, after the situation in England became too bad to sustain.

After the vaccine was administered, Edmund became suspicious of the corporation's dealings, and the annexations made him worry. As countries dropped one by one, Australia seemed the last bastion of a free world. He presumed most of his family had perished in the days of the Mephix Virus, lost forever in the days of chaos.

Ignoring that fact, he became increasingly worried on the FloCorp's expansionist style. He was formed once again into an army. This time it was the 1st British-Australian Rifles. The rifle regiment was made up of exclusively British nationalists who had fled to Australia, or 1st generation immigrants. He was glad to take up a rifle again, this time against an actual enemy, and not to take down infected people or looters.

Conspicuous Gallantry Cross: Awarded for saving five comrades in his company fighting against an armed gang in Chelsea.
Distinguished Service Order: Awarded for fighting a large group of armed rioters in Romford during the early days of the virus.
George Medal: Rescuing trapped civilians, who were between a horde of the infected, and armed anarchists. He sustained wounds due to the anarchists during the rescue operation, and barely got out alive when the infected burst through the windows. He lost two section-mates in that mission, and regrets ever accepting it.
London Defence Medal: Awarded for the defence of London during the riots and the Mephix Virus.
Maidstone Campaign Medal: Awarded for the quarantine of Maidstone, which was to eradicate the majority of the infected before pushing in to wipe out the rest.
Ashford Star: Awarded for participating in the Withdrawal of Ashford, covering the retreat of the 3rd Kent Rifles from the city.
Battle of Dover Cross: Awarded for the battle and the subsequent evacuation of Dover. It was here that Edmund and the remaining Homerton Pals were evacuated to Australia

Personality:
Charles Nelson, having spent years in the Union Fleet, has a strong sense of duty and loyalty to the Union. He signed up because he wanted to explore the universe, and that shows with his optimism in the sciences. Since he has been in combat many times, usually with pirates and bandits, he has an understanding of the risk. He can sometimes neglect reasoning in favour of an emotional response. He is a joyful man at heart, even though he is usually a realist.
Biography:
Charles Endicott Nelson was born in New Cardiff, a small mining village on Mars. His father, an ore miner, worked in the mines not far from the village for days on end. His mother was an assistant to the local doctor, who's work was mostly diverted to the miners. In the local school, he did exceptionally well in astronomy, astrophysics, exobiology, exoarchaeology, and engineer. However, when he came home, it was to a torn household. His parents regularly fought, typically over his father's suspicion that his wife, Charles' mother, was having an affair with the doctor. When Charles was ten, his father was killed in a mining accident and his mother ran off with the doctor. After a small legal battle, the province's court found his mother unfit to raise Charles, so they gave his paternal grandparents, Philip and Candace Nelson, custody of him. They took him to their home in New Nottingham, the captial of the Gagarin Province, where he received proper education. He considered them more of parents than his real ones ever were.

After he graduated at 17, he went to Earth to go to the Sol System Union Fleet Academy. He excelled in all of his classes, coming out as second in his class. At age 20, he graduated from the Fleet Academy as an Ensign, and went on numerous assignments and postings. When he was 27 and a Commander, he was posted to the USC Hutchinson, a Kobe-class starship, as it's First Officer. The Hutchinson was mostly assigned to guard shipping lanes, deliver aid and supplies to colonies, and participate in drills and war games. After five years, he requested a transfer. A personal friend from his Academy years, Rear Admiral Edward Miller, personally approved it, and Charles was transferred to Sol Sector Command.

After spending two years in the Sol System, observing and occasionally participating in small-scale drills, visiting old friends, and doing a whole lot of nothing, he was promoted to Captain and given commission of the USC Excalibur. It was a new starship, and it was his first command.

Biography:
Dietrich Frederich Frotscher was born in Düsseldorf, Westphalia, German Empire on March 7th, 1910. His father, a baker, was called up during World War I, and was killed at the Battle of the Somme in 1916. His older brother, Wolfgang, was called up in 1917, and assigned to the Luftstreitkräfte, and was killed in 1918. This left him an only child, and his mother fell into a depression she never quite recovered from.

During the rise of the Nazi Party and Adolf Hitler, he was quite apathetic to the whole thing. He never quite understood why the Jews were blamed, but found Hitler's policy to make Germany strong again appealing. In 1936, he enlisted in the Wehrmacht and took part in the Sudetenland Annexation of 1938. At this time, he was very jingoistic, and was ready to die for Germany and the Fatherland, but that wouldn't last. In 1939, he took part in the Invasion of Poland (Fall Weiss) and fought in many battles. Later, he also took part in the invasion of the Netherlands, Belgium, and France. After France, he was moved to the Soviet Union, where the brief but bloody war with Russia left him disillusioned.

After the peace with the Soviet Union, his regiment was commandeered by Erwin Rommel, the Desert Fox himself, during the coup against the Nazi Party. They were moved to Berlin, and combated Waffen-SS units in Pankow and Manzahn. His regiment was returned to Calais, where they awaited Operation Sea Lion.

During Operation Sea Lion, his regiment fought the British Army in Hastings, Canterbury, and London. He was wounded during the Battle of Leeds and moved to an army hospital in Dover. After the British capitulated, he was transferred to the 46th Infantry Regiment (Infanterie-Regiment 46) and posted to Ville de St-Jean, 42km outside Bordeaux, along the River Garonne.

Biography:
Helmut Dietrich Trausnitz was born in Heidenheim, in the Kingdom of Württemberg, of the German Empire in 1911. His father, a carpenter, signed up for the Imperial Germany Army and served as an officer on the Eastern Front. When he was transferred to the West, he lost two fingers and was honourably discharged, but could not work any more. He had two older brothers, the eldest of whom, Wolfgang, served in the Kaiserliche Marine was killed at Jutland. His family were struck heavily by the loss.

When the Nazis came to power in 1933, Helmut was 22 and a patriotic German. He thought the things Hitler promised, such as reoccupying the Rhineland and making Germany strong again, made sense and supported them. Working at a dead-end job in a bakery during Depression-era Weimar Republic was horrible, he signed up for the Wehrmacht, and was promptly assigned to the Heer, as an infantryman. He was part of the Anschluss and the Sudetenland annexation. After Sudetenland, he volunteered for the Condor Legion, where he helped the Nationalists fight the Republicans in Spain. Then, he was part of the invasion of Poland. After Poland, he served with distinction in the Low Countries, France, and in Greece. After Unternehmen Barbarossa, he was part of Army Group South, and fought Soviet troops in the Ukraine.

In Stapf's coup, he was discreetly rotated to a detachment of soldiers fighting elite Waffen-SS troops, part of the 3. SS-Panzergrenadier Division 'Totenkopf,' in Spandau and Haselhorst. After the Nazis were toppled, he was transferred to the Kriegsmarine Marine Stoßtrupp branch, where he trained endlessly for the inevitable invasion of Britain. When it finally came, he landed in Suffolk with most of the marine detachments, and linked up with the main army when they struck at Peterborough. When the British capitulated, he was engulfed in heavy fighting during the Battle of York. He was not transferred to Russia for Unternehmen Rösselsprung, as the majority of the Kriegsmarine Naval Infantry were kept in Britain for anti-guerilla operations.

After that, he was transferred to command a squad of soldiers at the smallest island in the Teufel Island Chain, Emke.
