Language learning rp (French)

Thought I'd start this up seen as no one else looked like they were going to do it XD

The basic idea is that we do a rp mainly in english but all the dialogue is in french. You don't need to know any french already, not sure whether we're putting any restrictions on people who already know how to speak it quite well.

Current Ideas for plot

Academy/school of some sort where french is the main language spoken.

WWII - French resistance

French Interpol tracking terrorists


Show interest if you haven't already done so, share ideas/ say which is your favourite and if you have a preference for which section (free/casual/advanced).

Personnellement, je trouve plutôt ridicule que les seules idées suggérées soient reliées à la France. Pourquoi ne pas tout simplement faire un RP normal dans lequel les dialogues sont en français?
Honnêtement, aucun des thèmes suggérés ne m'intéressent, mis à part peu être le deuxième. Si vous les choisissez néanmoins, je pourrais toujours vous offrir des conseils, mais je n’y prendrais pas part moi-même.

I suggested the WWII occupied France scenario because there are a good number of opportunities for native English speakers to end up speaking French at different levels, so the context kind of made sense (plus I'm a bit of a fanatic for that particular setting). But I'm up for almost anything, donc Cryptiic, si vous avez des suggestions, je voudrais les entendre.

Je préfère "advanced", mais je peux faire "casual" aussi.

I'm a fan of the fantasy based academy. I'm not all that into historical based ones, really.

I think we'd do this at casual to make the learning of the language a main focus, but what you do in English is all up to you as long as it meets basics standards of spelling and conventions, so that people only have to worry about understanding your french, not your English. XD

So, if we're going to do some kind of academy, any ideas on the theme? Both for normal and for supernatural. I'd rather avoid a Hogwarts type of deal. I personally enjoy the whole Urban Fantasy/Modern Fantasy thing where the supernatural exists to an extent where the real world could still exist as it was.

I just put up the ones that had already been suggested cryptiic, the whole point of this thread is to work out what the plot is going to be. I would be fine with a normal rp that had dialogue in french for no particular reason.

Also, I think it would be good to translate anything you write here in french into english as this is supposed to be for people who don't know any french yet just as much as people who do and we don't want to put people off at the very start!

I'm not interested in the historical based ones either. Either of the academy ones or a normal fantasy rp would be fine by me. Not really up for anything in advanced, so my vote's for casual
