I go with a high-endurance character. So, I can carry Artorias Greatshield and a Black Knight Greataxe all the while doing ninja flips with the Darkwood Grain Ring.
Needless to say, I do some hefty damage now.
Moonlight Greatsword is Best Greatsword.
Nothing beats a spellcasting bruiser. Well.... actually I guess pretty much everything beats a spellcasting bruiser, lol, PvP fucked me up but good. Still, it was my weapon of choice.
Nothing more irritating than getting to the final room of an area just to get invaded, only to have the invader hide behind a group of enemies like a royal asshole.
But other than that, Dark Souls is damn amazing. I haven't beaten it yet, but I'm going for killing the Bed of Chaos, then I'll go off and fuck up Nito's shit.
Amazing game, currently stuck on the four kings trying to bring them down with a thief that hasn't levelled or used anything bar starting equipment.
On the topic of favourite weapons, it has to be velka's rapier for me. Moonlight GS comes second but that rapier's Heavy attack is so god damned stylish
