An Introduction

So... I guess I need to post an into, huh? Well, this is it. Tah-dah! ... Pretty boring. I would jazz things up with some smilies, but I'm not an idiot, so I won't write any down overuse them. There. That's it. That's all you get.

On account of an introduction serving the prime purpose of introducing someone, I'll include sentences that introduce me in my introduction. That would be the proper thing to do, after all. I'm fairly young (I won't say exactly how young, since once I do I get no respect) but I'm mature enough to talk to. I've been RPing for... almost... a long time. Or two years. I love writing, and I like talking more than I should. I'm always open to good conversation. That's all I have to say for now, so I guess I'll see ya 'round!

But isn't using seventy smilies every single post half the fun of being a newcomer to any forum? You can do it all you want and nobody cares.

Anyway, welcome to the Guild, Zeebonator! If you need anything at all, whether it be a helping hand or you have a few questions that need answers, I'd be happy to be of assistance. I'd also recommend reading up on the Guild's guide if you haven't already. It has all the forum basics which are bound to be useful for any newcomer.

Thanks for the welcome! Though I might not get in trouble for too many smilies, I'd rather be able to make fun of other people who overuse them. Seems more entertaining WaitohcrapwhathaveIdone.

I've already read the guide, and I found it pretty informative. I don't have any specific questions right now, but I'll poke around the site a bit more today. If I come up with anything, I'll edit this post. For now though, I do have a general question. Are there any terms, processes, or important people I should know about (that weren't mentioned in the guide)?

Welcome, I think all the pertinent info is in the guide. I assume you know the basic terms such as IC OOC and GM, that's pretty much all that is critical. But if you stumble upon a term you don't know you can always ask either PM Grif or I (of a friend you've made who might know) or ask here: Ask a Comrade

Thanks for all the welcoming (in advance, if anyone else happens to post here). As for what RPs I like doing, I haven't ever abided by classifications before, but I'd have to say I'm probably a Casual/Advanced kind of guy. I don't really like battle RPs (unless they're just off-the-wall outrageous... then they're fun for the sheer ridiculousness), and I've never tried One-on-One Rping. Fewest I've ever seen is three.
