Part of the Pack IC Izzy and Sin

Cassie had risen early in the morning, a slight groan escaping her lips as she stretched out in the bed. Her muscles ached right down to the bone, feeling like they'd been torn out, twisted and sewn back in. The morning after a full moon was always a bad one, especially for a younger Lycan like herself. She'd only had around a years worth of phasings, and the full moon still took it's toll on her. Forcing herself out of bed, she'd pull on her thick, soft white wrap around robe, tying it loosely around her waist so as not to squeeze her sore ribs too much. Pausing to look at herself in the large mirror just infront of her room door, she'd huff lightly out of her lips. Her deep brown eyes were slightly puffy from an almost sleepless night, and her thick, chocolate coloured hair was stuck up in more directions than she could count. But it was a lost cause until she'd showered. Combing her fingertips through it lightly, she'd smooth it down just a little, for now, the shower could wait, the only thing that was on her mind was food. Her stomach practically roared like a lion at the though.

Twisting the knob of her door, she'd push it open, pausing to let one of the young mothers rush past her chasing a blur of red covered child. "Morning Cassie, rough phasing? Tommy got into the ketchup at breakfast" Cassie would barely get her mouth open to reply to the explanation, before the mother was running down the opposite end of the corridor, turning the corner. Cassie just smiled to herself. She loved it here, even though her parents had died years ago, it was like she had one big family, they even fought like a family. Closing her bedroom door behind her, she'd yawn lightly. She had one of the smaller bedroom in the mansion, which had been revonated years ago to accomodate the growing number of pack members.

Located on the outskirts of the city, the building backed on to the most gorgeous expanse of forest, which was perfect for them. The ground floor, of the, what could only be described as humongous, mansion, was all knocked into one large room, the kitchen at one end, dining room in the middle, and the large living area down the other end. The first floor consisted of the Alpha's and Betas' family suites, where the higher members of the pack lived, the other two floors above consisting of the single, and mated pack members.

Making her way down the stairs to the kitchen, she'd automatically head down to the kitchen, where a large feast-of-a-breakfast had been prepared for all of them. No meal times were scheduled or formal, except when there was a special occasion, so the pack members were coming and going as they pleased, some choosing to eat in their rooms, others choosing to socialize in the downstairs room. Cassie, reached for a plate, and piled it up, only to be met by a dis-approving glare from one of the female pack members. "You could have at least got dressed before you came down, Cas. You're giving everyone an eyeful of your legs, that robe only just brushes the top of your knees"Giving her a cheeky grin, Cassie would continue to take a bite out of one of the peices of toast she'd grab. That was the problem, she had about twenty "mother figures" and they were all ratting at her for something or other. Cassie would lean over and brush a kiss across the older woman's cheek. "I'm too hungry to even comprehend anything other than food right now, Deb" She was met with a slight shake of the woman's head, before she had a kiss pressed to her forehead. Cassie could always wriggle herself out of situations like that.

Settling herself up onto one of the counter tops, she'd tuck into her food, in between yawning and watching those around her bustle about, some of the women making breakfast, the men rushing around doing chores, the young ones running around causing havoc and play fighting.

(Had to change it a bit, but that's my post i'd already got written out x] )

    (Okay here I go!!)

Hine hadn't come home last night, not that she expected anyone in the pack to notice anyway, she wasnt an honourary member anyway, more a tag-along, a drain on their resources they didn't bother kick out ... They were far too kind in this pack, they let in any little wolf and took care of it, it was a weak pack, her old pack had been strict, those who couldnt keep up were left behind... Sure they were a pack, they had eachothers back in a fight, but if you weren't able to pull your weight, you weren't worthy and you were no longer part of the pack ... The same applied if you broke the Pack Law ... which Hine had, and she had been punished more than anyone would ever know, she felt the punishment over and over every day.

Deep down, she loathed the pack she currently ran with, but she knew, alone, she wouldnt last with hunters, other wolves and all other threats out there ... so until she figured out a better plan, this was what she had to do.

It had been 4 months since she'd started following this pack, although she spent as much time away as she could ... But now, she had to come back to feed, she had fed her wolf-self wholeheartedly during the moon feast last night, but now, after the long walk home, her human form was starving.

She walked through the door into the pack home, it was appropriately modified and designed to suit the pack's needs, but Hine never liked it there. In her old pack they moved from place to place between moon cycles, living in camper vans and tents, like their ancient ancestors had done long before them. Living in one place trapped by walls, it unnerved her, and bored her, waking up to the same sights and sounds every single morning, she grew restless.

Despite having trudged through miles of wood and brush, Hine still retained her rugged, but refined, otherworldly beauty. Her dark hair fell loosely down her back, scraggly and strewn with trigs and leaves, but looked no less beautiful than if it were adorned with freshly picked flowers, a wild burning look in her eyes, she was clearly more "wolf" than anyone else in the immediate vicinity, but she was born with wolf blood not turned so this was not unusual. Her long tanned figure was strong, confident and imposing on the younger "pups" of the pack who generally avoided her anyway.

She silently made her way to the fridge where she gorged on some slices of ham roughly tossed between two slices of un-buttered bread.

Hine could feel the slightly disapproving gazes of some of the other wolves on her ... Many in the pack wouldnt dare say it to the Leader but ... they saw her as a liability and would rather she wasnt part of the pack. Others cast curious peeking glances at her, trying to be subtle, they wondered what she did to wind up on the run without a pack, fear, awe and curiosity were jsut a few emotions she could smell in the air.
