Melvin the Sinner, was the purest Deviant of darkness, ever lived. His existance alone, was by the very claws that grasped the body of Melvin, penetrating that body with the soul of the Ancient, that now sat atop the Throne of Death. His vile energy polluted the air for a thousand years, keeping his lethal Kingdom in tact. Now, back where he forced himself to belong, he sat atop the Throne, with his hybrid wife on the side of the chair, kept more as an obediant pet, than anything. In his arms, he held his almost lifeless son, after a bloody battle between the two had broken out. Putrid filth, that was the black ooze that kept the Great Sinner alive (his blood), was now pouring from the long finned tail, that slammed itself against the ground in impatience. What he was waiting for, no one knew. What his plans, thoughts, goals were, no one would know. His glowing blue eyes matched the eyes of his wife, sitting as still as a stone statue, moving nothing, but her long blue, bushy tail. Her wings were folded stiffly, and her ears fully erect in full alert of anything going on.
With the rising of the Sun, came the awakening of the Shadow Sun God blowing over the Kingdom of Oblivion. Sin Ra screeched from its beak, its powerful calls sending thunderous vibrations to the world below, and the sky above. Lighting ripped through the sky, striking trees and the tops of the Castle of Death everywhere. The people below began to come out of their village, and went to work, mainly as guards or people who sold things. Since the Blue hadn't really done much over the course of the thousand years before Melvin had awoken again, the people were a little better off than at first when Melvin ravaged the place to dust. She allowed people and creatures from all walks of life to live there, as well as the Underground Black Knights that she used to guard the city when the few Templars that were around, were busy.
Blue tried to keep them seperated as much as possible. The Templars were to guard the Castle inside and out, whilst the Underground's Black Knights were here outdoor service, as well as working beneath the city in the actual Underground. Since Melvin had obliterated everything, he had also destroyed the two Castles that Luther and Bakura had once lived in and called their own. The Underground had challenged him to fight back - but in the end, it was Ra's raging blasts that destroyed shit even in the Underground itself. Eventually the Sinner had died, and Blue had just worked things out, to keep the Underground as a part of her Kingdom, without directly owning them. She treated them more as a side city, since her people (the ones that moved into her town over the 1000 years) really didn't take to kindly to the Underground itself.
"....Ohhh.... my face.... where... am I?" Little Melly's eyes started to open, the red glow coming from where the color was in the eyes. He slowly opened then wider, and saw the Sinner really close to him. He backed up - or tried to - but the realized that he was laying in his lap. The Sinner slammed his tail really hard, into the tile flooring. So hard in fact, that the ground cracked and pieces of tile and flooring flew into the air breifly, along with any dust that had been on them.
"Mother? Mother!" Melly was shaking, and really frightened. No one was talking. Melvin was staring off into space, and Blue was staring off into the same direction as if they had been watching something. But nothing was there. Because other than them in the middle of the room - nothing was in the entire Throne Room! "W-What's going on here?" He gasped, rather shocked. Melly looked up at the Sinner, to see that his eyes were glowing a strange blue in color. He looked at his mother, to see the same thing. "What have you done to her?!" He yelled. "Mom!"
Melvin's eyes dimmed out, and then they both lost the glow. The Mighty Shadow God was overheard loudly above the Castle, making the entire fucking building shake. The Sinner looked down at his down, and a strange, devious, and awful grin, creeped over his face.
"It's called sight-sharing my son." The Sinner said. Melly swallowed, and then looked over at his mother. She had lost the blue glow to her eyes, and looked rather confused.
"What is 'sight-sharing'?" Melly asked, it never have been described as that in any of Melvin's books (at last not the ones he'd been reading).
"It's where your father connects with his Summon, Shadow Ra, my dear." Blue said, free to think on her own again.
"So then why were your eyes glowing too? You can both do it?" Melly asked. Never once had he seen his mother do anything other than sit where Melvin had for the past thousand years.
"Haha, Blue cannot. But if I so choose, I can cause her to.... do as I like." The Sinner replied with a horrific laugh. Blue flared her ears out sideways, and curled her tail defensively over her lap. She was clearly displeased, but unable to have a say about it.
"So you control her?!" Melly asked. He sat up and got off of his father, to stand there in defiance. "Why did you want him back? Look what he's doing to you! Can't you see it?" Melly asked. "I fought him last night!" Melly blurted out. The Sinner was suddenly enraged, and used his tail, to violently slam into the ground again, causing Melly to back up.
"Melvin, you did what?" Blue asked, turning to face him.
"Nothing my dear." He snarled, putting emphasis on the last word. He glared at Melly, debating on slapping him with his long tail.
"Mother, wake up. He is not what or whoever you thought he was. He should be dead!" Melly screamed.
"Quiet boy. You will behave properly from now on. Like a 'proper' Shadow Fiend. And you will learn the ways." The Sinner said with order and tone to his voice.
"You're not the boss of me!" Melly growled.
"Melly please." Blue said softly.
"You're defending him?! WHY!!" Melly just couldn't understand, and he was the only one really catching on.
"I love him, my son." Blue said simply. Because it was true. She loved him far more and far further than anyone could understand. She would live for him, die for him, and give up the world for him. And he knew that, and played off of it many a time. Melvin loved Blue back, the Sinner thought that he did, but being the Sinner, Hell only knew if he knew what 'love' actually was, other than control and instability.
"Melly. Listen to me. You know how your brothers are not here? It is because they don't belong here. They are with their dads, just like you belong with yours." The Sinner said, coming up with an idea. "You are the one that belongs..."
"Really... you ...you mean that?" Melly asked, suddenly having a change of heart.
"Yes my son, I mean it." The Sinner knew that Melly wanted to hear that. He had always wanted a father, and it was going to be a weakness that the Sinner could exploit - and with ease. So he decided that was just what he was going to do. After all, a little Sinner could benefit him. And Melly had great power, that could potentially aid him in a possible time of need. And then, he still had Blue, a ruthless and very tight grip on her too. Nothing would cause them to seperate in his mind, and as long as he had her, the rest was in the bag. Plus - he was King, who the fuck would mess with him? And Ra? Not many. And so he was carefully secured in the Lands of Oblivion, with all or no remorse.
