Name: Nayrin

Gender: Female

Nayrin's appearance has changed drastically since her arrival to the group, the most noticeable change being the length of her silver hair. After the ceremony with her mother, her hair was cut to her shoulders in choppy layers, to symbolize her rebirth since binding with her shadow. Most of the scars and scrapes she'd collected since traveling with Demoko and Link have vanished, but the three red bands on her right arm still remain, along with her sharpened teeth. Her right eye is red, yet her left eye is green since the binding as well, though Impa has no idea why such an anomaly exists. It's believed that Farore wishes to still have an imprint upon Nayrin, and this is the way she decided to do so. Her stature barely reaches the 5'6" mark, and she's still very lean and muscular which helps her stay agile. She has a wolf-skin cloak that she made from the fur of the "wolf princess" that she hunted. Though, she does take it off in places of high temperature or humidity.

Age: Nayrin is 18

Race: Confirmed and Bound Sheikah, hailing from the fold of shadows who are cast from the light of the Goddesses.

Skills: Nayrin is very agile and fierce, meaning she can leap upon her enemies and tear their throats out using her dagger or her teeth. Her accuracy is infallible thanks to the hawk mask Demoko gifted her, and since her awakening her natural senses have been amplified. However, obnoxiously bright lights or strong smells will hinder her, rendering her nearly useless.


Magic Abilities: Since the release of the binding seal left on her from her mother Impa, Nayrin has an array of shadowy skills at her disposal. While her magical abilities serve as amplifiers to other shadow users, she had no offensive skills other than being able to sense other people's emotions--particularly negative ones. She is able to extract shadows from other persons and dispose of them, releasing the shadows back into what is called the "original fold", where Sheikah warriors are woven from the darkness cast from the Light of the Goddesses.

Weapons: She wields a bone bladed dagger, her only relic from her snowy village other than her cloak. Her mother gifted her an obsidian short-sword, as well as a stash of senbon.

Inventory: She has a few rupees, strips of leather, an empty bottle, a Flute of the Goddess, and other various things stashed inside of her leather satchel. A strange pelt is strapped to her backside, and she wears a ring with the Sheikan eye on her left hand (ring finger).

Bio: Nayrin hails from the most remote regions of the Snowpeak mountains, where her tribe set up shelter due to the drought and famine that wrecked the Hylian Mainland’s so many years ago. Her people are goddess-fearing, and her namesake is that of Nayru and Din, thus making “Nayrin”. She lived by her means, and often hunted for her people, which consisted of a small tribe of 10. However,they were wiped by an illness that they had received after tending to a sickly Hylian priest, who had managed to make his way to the remote area. Nayrin wonders if this was on purpose or not, for this man came bringing news of another “True” God, and after her tribe denied it they had fallen to their graves. Nayrin left her homeland in search of the leader of these Devils, swearing on her life that she'd slaughter them and carve her fourth band into her skin with glee.

Since meeting Demoko's group, she's realized her ability of seeing "auras". After traveling with the group for a while, she acknowledged her strong feelings for Link, yet she now debates whether or not they're "tangible" due to her realized role as "Guardian" of Link. She struggles now with expressing her emotions since her awakening, and she aches to be as emotionally wild as she was before. Her mother is a constant source of Guidance due to the bond they share, yet Nayrin holds many dangerously dark secrets that could ruin the dynamics of their group if they were to get out....

Hmmm you should look at the first posts in the thread from people who are still in the RP for an idea to how long the intro posts could be. We'd just rather some character building rather than 'move here, does this' posts.

Just posting here so people know I'm not dead. I'm waiting until everyones finished their conversations, then I'll send us off on our second day of hiking.

Or, I'll wake up earlier if the Templars find us before then, but that's unlikely.

I might just have Regret mess with the group while they are sleeping. Maybe kidnap someone....A tiny someone... Skull Kids love other kids but hate adults, yes. With Leoni, that brings in a whole new fold for Regret to do.
