Remember, killing for God is not the same thing as killing for you Atheists. Killing for you means wiping out someone forever. Killing someone from God's perspective is like calling your kid who is at a party and telling him to come home because he's grounded. If those Amorites were allowed to live, they would have corrupted the Israelites, who would then be sinning. It is better to die here, than screw up and not get exalted in heaven. God cares more about our well being for the infinite years after death than He does about these 100 years (back then, it was more like 40)

More circular logic that doesn't hardly make any sense. God couldn't even save the children? An all POWERFUL being resorting to blatant and short sighted barbarism? Also, if he cared about our well being after death, wth is hell then? Certainly an all knowing, loving, powerful being wouldn't create a system that by mere circumstance you are doomed to hell simply because your birth place? Or because how he made you?

According to the Bible, unless all of those Amorites slaughtered their livestock to sacrifice to god to cleanse them of their sins right before every man woman and child of that city got sacked thenn no. They weren't just grounded. They were put in the basement to get tortured for eternity.

The Amorites didn't even go to hell. They went to a place at least far better than here, which, if we could see, we'd all want to kill ourselves (Joseph Smith said that). Every last one, and some maybe went to the Terrestrial (better than the other place), and perhaps even a few to the Celestial (best place). How do I know? Because to go to hell you have to know what you're doing is wrong. The people who'd go to hell are the people who even if they knew Jesus was the Son of God, they'd still kill him.
