"We're almost ready for the warp, hurry up and get in here!"
"I don't trust that thing. It worked so well last time...."
"They've fixed it. And it's this or get slaughtered!"
"Tch, I know. Doesn't mean I like it."
"I know you don't....but we have to. The warp will be going off in five minutes, so hury up and get here."
"Yeah, alright.....wait...is that...Nevermind. I'll be there when I get there."
What!? We do have it-"
"Alright, one last time, for old times' sake!"

The black machine jumped off of the cliff it was looking watched on, landing on one of it's knees. The best way to describe the mech was "pointy", it's main colors being black, with gem green here and there, with it's upper legs and upper arms being a light gray. It didn't have any noticeable armament besides the cannon like weapon hanging from it's back. It's green visor scanned ahead, looking at the huge dust cloud that was getting closer by the second. Forming said cloud was a large red and yellow machine, the only word being able to properly describe it being "monster". The pilot of the black machine tightened the grip on his controls, as he started to see the blue flames of the monster's thrusters. The monster threw out it's legs, slamming them into the ground as it came to a stop in front of the black machine.

"I was expecting....more resistance, than just you." The pilot of the monster said, looking over the black machine, his own machine being more than double the size. He had to admit, it was hard not to laugh at such a sight. "Sorry to disappoint, but everybody else is getting ready to get out of this place, they didn't even have time to say goodbye!" The black machine's pilot said, shrugging. "Truly getting desperate, there's not a single place on this forsaken planet you can run from them!" The monster's pilot replied, laughing at this idiocy.

"Odd, I don't seem to recall ever mention we were staying on this planet!"
"What...you mean....that failure of technology? HAHAHAHAHAHA! Hilarious! Really, surrender would be better than that! You fools would at least become one with higher beings....and let me tell you from experience, it feels wonderful."

The pilot of the black machine growled at this remark. Traitorous bastard. While he wouldn't able to kill him, it would make sure to make him cry out in pain!

"Enough of your rambling! " He yelled, pointing at the monster. "Let's go, PROMETHEUS!"

The black machine blasted into the air, spreading his arms out as the various green gems on it's body begun to glow.

"If it's death you want, then so be it! DIE, YOU DAMN FOOL!" Prometheus yelled, two panels located on the monster's upper torso opening up, two yellow beams blasting at the other machine.

The black machine boosted out of the way using thrusters located on it's back, landing back onto the cliffs, the yellow beams following him. The machine boosted backwards, the beams hitting the cliff and tearing through the rock.

"I thought you wanted to fight! I guess running is all you're good for!" Prometheus yelled, jumping up, going through the falling rocks and landing on the cliff.

LUNA BREEEEAAAAAAAAAAAKKKKKKKKKKEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRR!"

Green beams slammed into the monstrous machine, the black machine waiting for it up in the air. Prometheus threw up the machine's arms, blocking the beams until they stopped. "Impressive, you actually manage to damage me! Tell me, what was your name again?" Prometheus asked the pilot of the black machine. "Geno Yue, remember it AS THE NAME OF THE MAN WHO DEFEATED YOU!" The pilot yelled, blasting towards Prometheus machine, sticking his foot out. "AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH! DIE!" He yelled, kicking into the monster's chest, causing it to stumble back. Using the momentum grained, it dashed off, heading towards a building that looked like some sort of military complex.

"GET BACK HERE!" Prometheus yelled, giving chases, large wing sprouting from his machine's back. The monster's mouth opened up, a blast of red energy shooting from it, slamming into the black machine back, causing it to slam into the wall of the complex. "DIE, WEAKLING!" Prometheus yelled, slamming his fist into the black machine,s ending it flying into the wall and crashing into the floor of the complex, sliding back until it slammed once again into a wall. "What a shame, you would have been a fine ally if you had simply joined us!" Prometheus told Geno stepping through the hole he had made and moving ever closer. "I wouldn't want to be an ally to scum like you.....or an idiot like you, for that matter!" Geno answered, a blast firing from the cannon on the machine's back. It crashed into one of the pillars holding the ceiling up...then the OTHER pillar. The ceiling came down, crashing onto Prometheus, as Geno stood once more.

"Something like this....WHAT AN USELESS TRICK!" Prometheus roared, charging at Geno. Gen jumped up , the cannon slinging over the machine's shoulder, Prometheus sliding to a stop right before he hit the wall. "COSMIC SPIRAL!" Gen yelled, another blast coming from the cannon this one spiraling somehow. The attack hit Prometheus head on, sending him crashing through the floor. "Alright, that's enough playing around. It was a good fight, Promethues, but I gotta be going!" Gen yelled, shooting off.

"No you don't. GET BACK HERE, DAMN BUG!" Prometheus yelled, flying right up, crashing through the complex.

"Persisant, aren't you?" Gen said, landing on a large battleship looking thing. "DIE, GENO YYYYYYYYUUUUUUUUUUUUUUEEEEEEEEEE!" Prometheus yelled, charging right for the battleship, a large red beam of flames shooting out of the monster's mouth. "Same to you, PROOOOOOOOOMETHEUS!" Geno yelled, one more beam blasting off from his cannon.

The two attacks collided, a huge yellow explosion forming, destroying the complex beneath. However, once the explosion cleared......

The battleship was gone.

"LADIES AND GENTLEMEN! THE MATCH WE'VE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR!" The announcer informed the cheering crow, sitting around the circular arena. "WHO WILL BE THE WINNER? WHO SHALL BE THE CHAMPION FOR THIS YEAR? LET'S FIND OUT!"

"Alright, time to show him who's the boss!" He said, sitting in his machine, wearing his white and red piloting suit, a red helmet with green visor over his head. He was eagerly awaiting his chance to get out there and start fighting. He had gotten this far, he wasn't going to lose now!

"ON THIS SIDE! A NEWCOMER TO THE FIGHT, HE HAS PROVEN HIMSELF TO BE QUITE SKILLED! BUT WILL HE HOLD OUT? LET'S HOPE SO! LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, ALEXANDER JONES, AND HIS MACHINE, REOGANE!"

He smiled. "Let's do this!" He yelled, running into an arena. His machine was rather smooth and noticeable, a blue color with several splashes of white on certain areas. It looks around the arena with it's green visor. "Come on, let's party!" Alexander yelled, the voice coming from the mouthplate of his machine, the machine's spike like antennas coming off the head listening for the sounds of the opponent's grate to open.

The sounds of immense engines roaring filled the stadium. A wave of heat and wind escaped the enemy mech's preparation chamber. It was dark, but various lights were visible from within. The most notable was a large, purple glow. Its shape was similar to a pair of triangles, connected by the smallest of the corners. Other lights gave an outline to the machine within. A fairly standard humanoid mech, riding atop something else.

Instead of remaining hidden, the engines roared again. The crowd cheered, and the newcomer shot from the chamber. A giant metal warrior, riding atop an even bigger vehicle. It almost looked like a motorcycle. Two immense wheels ripped across the arena's smooth ground, a pair of large tubes simulating exhaust pipes pointed into the air behind it, and its rider controlled its direction by turning a handlebar above the front wheel. The mech and its vehicle picked up even more speed, and it was rushing straight at Reogane.

Right at the last second, the mech's arms pulled up, and the motorcycle's front end lifted from the ground. It flew above him, and he revved the engines one more time. When he made contact with the ground again, he immediately shot forward, straight towards the arena's wall. Instead of crashing, it fell to its side, and the wheels made contact.

Defying all laws of gravity and physics, the mech's motorcycle tore along the wall, driving horizontally at a rather ridiculous speed. He ran around the arena twice, captivating the audience and generally being the most hammy motherfucker that ever existed. It kicked up a large amount of dust, so he decided to stop before his unintentional smokescreen suffocated everyone inside. The mech's cycle jumped off the wall, and it landed back in the arena, just outside his preparation chamber.

As the dust cleared and settled, the mech was revealed. What had previously been a white and purple blur took on a more recognizable shape. It was lightly armoured, coated in shiny white plates that made it look regal and high-quality. Beneath that, a dark layer of underarmour kept its important components safe. Purple light glowed from the mech's visor, and from a few ports on its shoulders and chest. It was generally sleek, with rounded pauldrons and smooth limbs, but a large angled "collar" of metal rose up around the neck. The mech stood up, climbing off the motorcycle, and opened its arms, looking Reogane in the "eyes." Whoever this newcomer was, he was confident. If he didn't win, he'd at least be giving a hell of a show.

Inside the mech's body, the pilot sat. He was wearing his piloting suit, paired with a helmet modeled after his mech's head. His lower arms and legs were covered by what looked like gauntlets and greaves, wired up to the cockpit. A similar wire extended from the back of his neck. He cracked his knuckles and leaned forward, gripping the controls.

After a moment of awestruck silence, the announcer spoke up again. "WHAT AN ENTRANCE! LET'S ALL GIVE A WELCOME TO OUR NEWEST WARRIOR, RANCE KYOZUKI, AND HIS MACHINE, KAISER!"

Rance smiled under his helmet, and Kaiser quickly boxed with the air before "cracking" its neck. "Come on!" He shouted, just as Kaiser's fingers motioned towards itself, its arm extended and its palm facing the sky.

"Yeah, that might have been a good entrance...but I know kung-fu!" Alexander shot back, honestly feeling...well, more than bit upstaged.

Sure, it was about WINNING, but it was also about putting up a show! And holy shit, Alexander could NOT compete with that.

Like hell that was going to stop him.

"HIIII-AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!" He swrung his legs up, slamming it into the ground, a large crack forming in the ground and shooting towards Kaiser. And by large, I mean big enough to engulf a car.

Regane flipped back, landing by the entrance of the preparation chamber. HE reached up, grabbing ahold of the gunmetal grey metal grate that made up the door, ripping out out of the wall. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Alexander let out a primal roar, throwing the gate towards Kaiser, breaking into a run and jumping up, landing the gate and jumping off of THAT, getting high enough to land behind Kaiser, rolling backwards underneath the machine, going into an uppercut, hitting the machine in the jaw.
"ROCKET PUUUUUUUUUNNNNNNNCCCCCCCHHHHHHH!" Alexander roar, his forearm blast off from the rest of his body, dragging Kaiser into the air, a streak of red flame trailing behind it. Reogane did yet another flip, going back to where he had begun. "COME ON, HOW ABOUT THAT!?" Alexander asked, punching the air as his fist returned to him.

"AND WE ARE OFF TO ONE HELL OF A START! NOT EVEN A MINUTE IN, AND THE ARENA IS WELL ON IT'S WAY TO BEING WRECKED! AND WHAT SPEED! THIS IS SURE TO BE THE FIGHT OF THE YEAR, FOLKS!"

Well, shit. Rance hadn't been expecting his opponent to be so quick about laying into him. Because of Kaiser's generally low weight, he was knocked into the air, and went flying even after Reogane's arm returned to its rightful place. While he was floating, laughter could be heard coming from the pilot.

"Nice try! BUT IT'S GONNA TAKE A LOT MORE THAN THAT!" He shouted, flipping over in the air. A few ports opened on Kaiser's back and legs, and small jets poked their way out. He opened his arms once again, and his gauntlets began to shift. From beneath them, what looked like a pair of energy blade conduction rails emerged. It was a fairly standard mech weapon. Giant swords made from solidified plasma, useful for looking awesome and chopping the hell out of things.

And then the blades actually formed. Instead of swords, they more resembled a pair of enormous chainsaws. However, they were still formed from the energy. Another rail shot out, and wrapped around the edge of the somewhat blunt-looking blade. Hundreds of tiny blades emerged from the chains, and engines inside Kaiser's arms roared as the chainsaws came to life.

"Get ready!" He shouted, just as Kaiser began to finally fall out of the air. The boosters exploded to life, and blue flames shot out from them as he was pushed through the air by their force. "GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Rance shouted, letting out a battle cry of his own. The tone of his voice made it a little less threatening than it could have been, but when it was coming from a flying mech with a pair of gigantic energy chainsaws coming out of its arms, the pilot's voice was bound to be the least threatening part of the show.

Kaiser hit the ground, cracking the ground from the impact. He slid along easily thanks to his smooth armour, and was almost flying towards Reogane. An upward slash made contact with Reogane's shoulder, and the other saw came up with it. Sparks flew and his engines roared even louder as he tried to cut off his opponent's arms.

"COME ON! SHOW ME WHAT ELSE YOU'VE GOT!" Rance shouted. He was smiling intensely, and if he hadn't been gripping the controls so tightly, his hands would have been shaking from the excitement.

"SURE FREAKING THING, BUDDY!" Alexander yelled, his thrusters flaring to life as he blasted upwards, away from the saws. He spun forward, landing behind Kaiser, flipping around and jumping up, laying into Kaiser with a flurry of kicks, going at a speed so fast his legs were a blur. He then stopped, delivering a spin kick that threw Kaiser into the wall.

He then ripped off the arm that was hit by the sawblade, throwing it at Kaiser's back.

"I DON'T NEED TWO ARMS TO KICK YOUR ASS!" He yelled. He TOTALLY didn't that because the connectors in that arm was now wreck. Nope, not at all. Why would you even think that.

Alexander was grinning like a fool. This was FUN. Even if he lost, he wasn't going to be TOO upset.

"IS that all you have?" He asked, pointing at Kaiser. "I was hoping for some more!" He said flipping back, going into the giant crack he had made. He then punched the wall of the crevice, breaking the ground apart. Grabbing a hold of one of the larger pieces of dislodged earth, he flew up into the air, spinning around.

"Catch!" He yelled, throwing the piece of ground at Kaiser. He landed back onto the ground with a thud. He jumped back, breaking into a run, jumping onto the wall, and then proceed to run up the wall,, telling physics just to go on their merry way. Once he got tot he top of the arena, he jumped up, using his thruster to get even more air, staying in the air and looking down. "Geeze, I'm making this place a wreck..... Ah well, they can fix it! NOW COME ON, LET'S ROCK AND ROLL!"

Kaiser moved with the kicks, absorbing a good number of them without taking too much damage. Still, even it had its limits. Since Reogane had went behind him, Rance pulled on the controls and made his boosters send out a large cone of flames. He shoved his saws into the ground to hold himself in place, but Reogane's merciless attacks weakened his grip. Eventually, he was kicked hard enough to be dislodged, and crashed into the arena's wall.

Rance bounced around in the cockpit, his helmet protecting his head from any lethal impacts. When his mech finally came to a rest, he opened his eyes and looked up, also smiling. "THAT'S MORE LIKE IT!" He roared, slamming his fists together. When he saw Reogane's severed arm flying at him, he quickly grabbed the controls again, and made Kaiser raise his own arms.

The saws crossed and blocked the makeshift projectile, slicing it into metal ribbons. "OOH, SHIT. THAT'S GONNA BE HARD TO FIX!" He said, laughing somewhat immaturely. His voice was full of excitement. Kaiser raised himself up, and cracked his neck again, bouncing his feet slightly as he got into a more stable stance. The second projectile was dealt with in a more stylish manner.

Kaiser boosted himself forward, sliding along the ground. He jumped up, and the chunk of earth impacted his stomach, denting his armour and causing some damage. "SHIT!" Rance shouted. It hadn't gone exactly as planned, but he had room to recover. He pulled himself onto the rock and sliced the edges off, brandishing his weapons with a loud growl. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! COME OOOOONNNN!" He activated his boosters and jumped off the still-flying piece of rock, aiming himself right at Reogane.

He moved both saws forward, holding them above his head, and began to spin in the air, giving physics and gravity a gigantic middle finger along the way. He essentially turned Kaiser into a gigantic, spinning drill-chainsaw. No further transformation required. Just a lot of spinning, boosting, and hot-blooded shouting.

"....Shit." Alexander said, slamming the thrusters off, dropping like a rock. It, however, was not fast enough, as the drill come in contract with Reogane's head, ripping through the upper left of it. He landed onto the ground, Alexander grabbing his own head. "Here we go! THIS!" He slammed his fist into the ground, causing giant cracks to form.

"IS!"
HE slammed his fist itno the ground again, breaking the ground up.
"MORE!"
One more, the turn into into something that resembled a mini version of a mountain range.
"LIKE IT!"
One last time, shattering the ground around Regane, causing the machine to drop down, rocks and earth in the air giving him some small cover from Kaiser. "Aaaaaaahhhhhhh! Aaaaaaaaaaahhhhh! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

Reogane shot up into the air, jumping from falling rock to falling rocks, each one being blasted away from the force of Neogane landing on it. Using his thurster, he boosted towards Kaiser, then started to punch.
"ORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORA!"
And punch and punch and punch

Rance's eyes widened when he saw what Reogane was doing. Jesus, they were really tearing this place up. One of the furthest-flying rocks made contact with Kaiser, knocking him off-balance and killing his boosters. He started dropping, not quite as quickly as Reogane had, but it didn't matter. The enemy mech was right in front of him within a few seconds.

The rapid-fire punching dented Kaiser's armour and broke the furthest edge of part of his visor. Rance was being thrown around by the force, but held his own. He looked almost distressed as he tried to get control over Kaiser. The blows were making contact with his important machinations, and he was starting to shut down. "Crap! Come on, man! Woooorrrrkk!" He shouted, shaking the controls. No response.

Kaiser fell back, knocked away by one particularly strong punch. He careened through the air, and his controls were busted. "Crap, crap, CRAP!" Rance growled, and slammed his fist onto a large red button in front of him. He'd need to get a lot more personal if he was going to survive this.

The cockpit shifted, the chair pulling back and the controls sliding away. Rance was wired to the floor, so there was no risk of him being knocked away any further. A "cage" of scanners ran over his body, and his body was linked to Kaiser's functions.

"YOU THINK THIS IS OVER?!" Rance shouted, his voice broadcasting from Kaiser's still body. Rance made a movement with his arms and legs, turning Kaiser over in the sky. He landed in a crouch, and his chainsaws retracted. "THINK AGAIN!"

His motorcycle rushed towards him, and unfolded. It collided with his back, and various plates began to shift over Kaiser's body. By the time the combination was complete, he was armoured enough to change his weight class to medium, and his wheels slid onto his back. They began to spin, changing their use to a sort of generator, and particles of energy shot from his back. They filled the air around him and boosted his worn energy reserves to a more manageable level. Kaiser stood somewhat shakily, and slammed his fists together.

"COME AT ME!" He shouted, running forward. The generators spun even more, and a cascade of energy particles flowed from them.

".....Well...."

Well, shit. He didn't think this was far at all.
Oh well!

"Alright then, LET'S GO!" He yelled, charging at the armored up Kaiser. He had no plans on what to do at all. Crap, what COULD he do? He was out of options, he was getting his ass handed to him by Kaiser WITHOUT that extra armor on!

So he was just gonna kick ass!

"ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOCKET PUUUUUUUUUUUUNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNCCCCCCCHHHHH!"

He threw his remaining arm forwards, the forearm blasting off and slamming into Kaiser. Alexander didn't try to notice if it worked, as he jumped onto the wall, jumping off into the air and looking down. "COME ON, TRY AND GET ME!"

As impressive-looking as Kaiser's extra armour was, it really didn't do much more than an average medium-weight mech's outer shell would. Reogane's arm shattered his left pauldron, revealing the Kaiser's original smooth, round one underneath. Rance growled in frustration, then started to run forward in the modified cockpit. The floor moved behind him, and the Kaiser's motions were linked to his own.

Letting out a rather impressive cloud of energy particles, Kaiser's generators spun more, and he slid along the ground, activating his boosters. The generators turned sideways, acting more like the wheels they were formed from. It was just to pick up enough speed to do a longer jump in the added armour, and a large blast of power sent Kaiser skyward.

As much damage as it was causing, Rance was having the time of his goddamn life. Laughter filled the air, but quickly turned into yet another battle cry. A long scream as he flew upward. Since his gauntlets were covered, his chainsaws weren't an option right now. Instead, he had another trick up his figurative metal sleeve.

From beneath the generators, a rectangular piece of metal shot out into the air, and quickly transformed into something resembling a crossbow that had its limbs backward. Energy crackled between the arms as they unfolded, and a disc of energy formed. "CATCH!" Rance shouted, pulling the weapon's trigger. The plasma solidified, and a large blue buzzsaw was launched from the weapon. Bolts of energy ripped across its surface as it flew, and Kaiser was already charging up another one. He fired five more, then activated his boosters to keep himself in the sky.

Back on the ground, the crowd was having a collective seizure. This was one of the best fights the arena had ever seen.
