Hidden Intentions

Darkness... A world is hollow, empty darkness. The world is so silent, words left unspoken, and truth left hidden. The world is cold, freezing the hearts of many, yet a fire burns within. There is no hunger, but a lust for power. The world full of darkness, lies within a forest... A forest of hidden intentions. The world's greatest warriors hide within the forests, living as mercenaries, getting what they can to survive. Its a cold life, following this path... But there isn't such things as preference in this world, when you are born... Your destiny is decided for you. Whether they determine your fate as the next leader, the assassin that everyone fears, or the outcast that no one cares about... The destiny has all been predicted. This, is the life, of a warrior of darkness... A shinobi. Shinobis are tools, they don't have a choice, their life is created for them, they only walk the path to their fate. If they must die, than they will die... That is the cold, and cruel life of a shinobi, he who can land as light as a feather, who can run like the soundless flight of birds, who's strength is equal to that of bears... That is the shinobi, a weapon of mass destruction... And as war is raging, the truth will be sought, and shallst it ever be found... The world of the shinobi, the centuries of work behind it, will crumble into ruins.

Many believe the fate that has been sealed upon them is destiny, many believe there is no escape. But when did it begin? How did it happen? The past of these great warriors trace back to centuries ago, where these creatures were not great warriors of legends.. They were just cats, normal cats who struggled to survive in the cold, creul world known as reality. But everything changed, the kami took pity on them, they decided to gift these cunning and sneaky creatures. The kami granted the five different groups a power they shared, but as time passed, they realize, there were outcasts, these outcasts in turn were granted powers that none of the other cats had. In time, the five separate groups came to be known as the Clans. These clans followed the abilities of the cats, the cats of the livid lightning, resided in the mountain tops, the cats of wrathful waves lived by big lake bodies, the furious fire cats resided in the warm plains, where there was little protection from the heat, the erratic earth cats lurked in trees, and the last, the wistful wind cats lived by the fire cats, in moors with many slopes. But, as other creatures began to appear and grow in numbers, the cats began to be pushed back, into a dark forest. This is when the cats decided to cut off the outside world. Until most recently, about five decades ago, the outsiders came. With the coming of the outsiders, the lives of the clans changed completely. The outsiders seeked the strength of the cats, they wanted the cats to fight on their side. Each outsider had a different reason, and as time began to pass, several leaders rose to take power. Each leader gathered members from numerous clans, and seeked for the help of outcasts and their unique powers... The unity to protect their land was lost from there, and a wound began to form on the heart of the forest. As time passed, the new formed groups, now called guilds, began to become colder and colder with each other, a battle for power occurring... And now, the wound began to grow wider, times of darkness was drawing closer... Will anyone be able to stop the raging chaos in time before everything is lost?

The Clans

The first cat to change the destiny of the clans, the founder of the first guide by the name Doragon shōjun, otherwise Ascending Dragon, was a cat by the name Isao, he was the first ever cat to master the element of lightning, and was believed to be the great lightning god. Isao had an erratic and stern personality, and it is believed, in the lightning clan, that those who take after the cat are great leaders. The lightning clan, is known for their strategies, and are often grey, silver, white, or black cats. The Lightning clan is also known to be the clan with "All-seeing eye", among one of the three great ocular techniques which is the ability of x-ray vision, they are able to see internal damage and the weak location in stationary objects, like trees and mountains.

The Earth clan is the strictest of them all, they were often one not to change, unless they had to. That was what the Earth cats did, they decided not to change their ways of life, until they realized they had no other choice. The leader who led the creation of the guild was Kou, she created the guild that would be known as Idaina senshi, Great Warrior. Because of this act, many in the earth clan looked up to her as being an open-minded cat, and because she did not linger and hold onto traditions, she was able to save the clan from breaking up, making a majority of Earth cats be within the Idaina senshi. Earth cats are often brown in color, but can be other colors. They do not host a grand ocular technique, but they have great sensory skills and strength, they can sense vibrations in the earth and distinguish the paw steps of ally and foe.

The Water clan is known for their great decisions related to guild related matters. They often make up the advisers of guilds, or they are often the adviser of a group of rouges. They were the second one to follow the flow to gain strength, their leader, Hitoshi, was the creator of Seifuku Yami, a guild that is known for their smart decisions. The water cats are known for their grey, white, black or varying grey colored pelts that carry a bluish tint. They have the ocular vision that allows them to see under water perfectly fine, but since it is the weakest of the ocular visions, they also have a extra ability of being able to breath in water.

The fire cats have unnaturally short fuses, known to explode quickly into a verbal argument where they would not win and use strength to win the fight instead. They had a young leader by the Minori, but she was wise beyond her years. She saw the advantages of creating a guild after her father passed away and entrusted her with the clan. She created the third guild, recently after the majority of the water clan created a guild, and it came to be known as the Sobietatsu gādian, the towering guardians, because she believed that her warriors and her herself were protectors of the Fire Clan. This clan is known for their fiery pelts that carry the warmth of the sun, and their ocular technique, Heat vision. Their ability is also a sensory technique, similar to the Earth's, but heat vision is superior in seeking out enemies, but insufficient in identifying them.

The quickest clan, ended up last in the race of power. They created the Idai-sa e no pasu, the path to greatness, a guild that was believed to be made of strong warriors. In time, a cat by the name Noboru, climbed the ranks to the guild and led it to greatness and caught up to the other guilds. Noboru is known as the wind god, being able to race across the forest floor without a sound, and so quick that his heat is like a blaze of fire. Noboru is now merely a legend, and his descendants are believed to be godly by Wind cats. The Wind clan are usually pale shades of colors, like light grey, and can sense air with their minds. If they are enclosed in a location, they often use the direction of the wind and the location that oxygen is coming in from to escape. Wind cats are known for their superior speed and lithe and quick build.

Guilds

"Like the great dragon, we will ascend into the sky. We will become the greatest of the clans!" - Isao

As history has revealed, Doragon Shojun is the oldest of all the guilds, recognized by the symbol of two clashing kunai. They were the first to step out into the real world, with a goal. The Doragon Shojun seeked greatness, they wanted supremacy, they wanted recognition.

"The darkness within their hearts... have overtaken even their willpower, it is up to us to vanquish them and release them from a life full of agony!" - Hitoshi

Compared to the Doragon Shojun, Seifuku Yami's cause is rather noble. The Seifuku Yami are set on destroying evil from this world, and killing those with darkness in their hearts to release them from the agony of being consumed by hatred. This is the Seifuku Yami, known by their shuriken symbol.

"My warriors! We will stand tall, protecting those who need us!" Minori

Minori, unlike the rest of the leaders, did not really have a reason in the other world to fight for, but instead she wanted to protect the cats of the forest, those who are in her guild and not alike. She wanted to make sure that before the corruption of greed spread to the fire cats, they would realize that the clan needed protecting. Because of that, they have a cloud symbol, representing their will to watch over the rest.

"Great Warriors, I gather you here today to make sure we will not collapse, we will unite everything." - Kou

Kou is a warrior who wants to unify everything under her, to gain a form of unity and to cause everyone under the same banner. They are recognized by their leaf symbol that represents one of the many leaves on the tree of unity.

"The path to greatness will begin with us, we shall make sure that we will reign supreme." - Noboru

Noboru is a cat who only wants strength, he wants to become the strongest and the conqueror, he wants to unify, but also conquest. This is what sets him off, and the cats of Idai-sa e no pasu have the a fan as the symbol

Balance of The Elements

When the Kami granted these felines with their unique abilities total chaos was created. The felines were out of balance, some too powerful, while others too weak. Because of that those gifted with the weaker and passive elements were dominated by the more powerful and aggressive ones. Seeing this and how much misery the felines had caused to each other, Kami was angered at their selfish actions and withdrew their gifts as punishment. As the decades past on, the cats' numbers began to dwindle. They plead Kami to return their abilities so they could continue to tread upon Earth. The Kami forgave their actions and once again grant them their gifts. But the Kami had grew weary of the felines' past actions and wanted to prevent the past chaos from happening again. So he connect the gifts in a cycle which connect all cats to each other. When one guild was in harm's way the others would suffer as well. To remind the cats of their connection to each other, the Kami left a stone pillar on the outskirt of the border that connected all the clans. On the stone pillar, the Kami's warning to the cats was engraved.






As the decades pass the felines begin to forget their connections and now only one question remains... Can they remember their duty to each other or will Kami's wrath and rage destroy them all?
