    The.Prophecy. [[Private]]

Dominic looked around him with slightly narrowed crimson red eyes, his facial expression set in a serious stance as he paused a moment to take in his surroundings. He had been wandering around for days, nearly desperate in his search for one human that could very well bring him and his kind life or death. It was with this in mind that he continued on his relentless journey to find this female prophecy.

From what he had been told, he was coming rather close to finding the young human. He was in the right town, that was for sure, but with all the humans running together as if in a herd, it was becoming rather difficult to find his target. He wasn’t even sure that he would be able to tell who it was, but his King had told him that he would know. It was all so confusing, but at the same time it made sense.

His senses were on high alert, already in danger for traveling alone. It was what his King wanted; he wanted Damien to go off alone so as to avoid suspicion from the Mystic Seekers that they were trying to keep away from for the time being. With the war drawing so close, it was rather difficult to keep the others away. Now, his side was the one that had the advantage.

The sandy-haired being paused in front of a high school building, his skin covered in a thin cloak that would keep the late-afternoon sun from touching him completely. He looked closely at each face that came out of the building, hoping that he had actually found the right place.

    “Where are you, little one?”

Demii walked out of the school alone. She didn't talk to many people and she liked it that way she didn't need anymore people to just have them abadon her. Demii's hair was an odd shade of blonde that no one else really had. Her bright eye's held sorrow as she began her walk home.

Today she wore black combat boots over fishnet stockings and a black pleded skirt. Her top was a black tank top with fishnets covering her arms. She had her back pack slung over one shoulder as she began her long walk home.

Dominic continued to roam over the faces of many of the female students, though he felt his search was in vain. Though his King told him he would be able to easily identify who the Prophecy child was, he was beginning to doubt. He was almost certain that there was no way he would be able to find-

His eyes paused on one particular young woman, noticing that she was walking away from the school by herself. Her hair was much lighter than many of the others, and her clothing choice was very peculiar to that of the other students. It was then that he realized that he couldn't look away from the human. In fact, he very nearly wanted to bow in her very presence.

He blinked slowly before his blood red eyes widened a fraction. He had found her! This was the one!

He began to trail after the young woman silently, keeping at a distance so as not to startle her right then; he knew it couldn't be avoided later on as he told her of her purpose. He followed her until they were alone down one of the less lived-down streets, not a single human but her around.

Demii continued her walk home. Turning on many different streets she felt as if she was being watched or followed. She shuddered in the cold air and put a peice of stray hair behind her ear. She couldn't possibly be being followed nothing like that ever happened in these parts.

As she began to past the park Demii paused and turned. She looked at the swings she hadn't been on in forever and decided that staying out for a bit longer couldn't hurt much. So she walked forward carefully and stoped in front of the second swing. She smiled lightly before sitting in it and starting to swing.

Dominic continued to follow the young woman, his crimson red eyes never leaving her slight form for a second. He had expected her to walk straight home, wherever that may be, though when she made a detour and walked to a swing set instead, it surprised him slightly.

He easily remained out of her eyesight while at the same time watching her intensely as she picked one of the swings and began swinging back and forth, back and forth. She seemed so content in doing this one action over and over; it was very confusing to him, though that feeling wasn't surprising. Humans never ceased to amaze him in the most interesting of ways.

Without making a sound, Dominic made his way over and sat in the other swing, watching as she continued to swing back and forth. "You seem to be enjoying yourself fully," he commented as he began to pick up a slight swinging pace, though it was barely anything compared to her own movement.

Demii let out a scream as she almost fell off the swing. She dug her feet into the soft sand and pulled her body to a stop.

"Wow you scared me! Wait you don't look familiar who are you?" She questioned seeing as how this was a small town there wasn't really any new faces to meet. She began to swing slowly while still watching him. Her bright eyes shown in the dim light of the afternoon and her white blonde hair blew from her face softly. As she thought over the likiness of a new kid.

Dominic was barely startled by her sudden outburst at his presence, for it was normal for humans to act out as such, especially since his kind had a way of popping up out of nowhere from time to time.

"Wow you scared me! Wait you don't look familiar who are you?"

"I am called by many things, little one, but 'Dominic' will suffice," he said slowly, looking away from her so as not to cast the setting sun's light in his face. He still had the hood of his cloak over his head, but it wasn't enough if he were to face the sun directly. He could hear her heart beating rhythmaclly against her chest, could smell her sweet scent as a short gust of wind blew it in his general direction, and it was making him more aware of this interesting human being...the Prophecy.

"The question to ask here is who are you? Do you know?"

Demii raised an eyebrow at his reply. She stared at him and began to get a little creeped. Here was a man never seen before hiding in the shadows of his cloak....no normal people wear cloaks anymore. Well except for a select few goth kids but that's besides the point.

As he said his last statement Demii froze. What did he mean by that. Of corse she knew who she was she was Demii an ordinary freak.

"Um don't ever call me little one im almost 18. And what do you mean by 'who are you? Do you know?' I mean unless you have some alterrior reason for that then yes im sure I know who I am."

Dominic almost wanted to laugh at her answer. Oh, how niave the little one was.... He was certain that she knew nothing of her potential, nothing of her reason for existing, yet it was obvious that she didn't belong. She looked so much different from the other humans, even those who tried to change themselves to be different. He would just have to show her how special she really was.

"In my eyes, you are much younger than I, though it may not seem that way." He stood from the swing and walked a few feet forward before pausing once more. "You are much more special than you think, Demii." Oh, yes, he knew her name, though that was all he knew about her, for he couldn't scavenge her mind for anything else. For some reason, she was able to block out his mind from viewing her own, and for Dominic, it was quite frustrating.

He turned just the slightest to cast his red eyes on her from once more, being careful not to let the sun touch him. "Tell me, little one, what is your view on the creatures of the night, creatures that are supposive myth and nothing more...vampires?"

Demii thought this over for a minute. This guy was getting creepier by the minute and she didn't know what to say. Honestly she had always wished the mythical creatres were real and that she could meet them but she knew in her mind logically that was never going to happen.

"I wish I could say they were real however I know they are not." She said while waching his cloaked form.
