Leave us some descriptions? Thanks!
For now I'll leave out the skills, and we'd just maybe pick a base class (I can add descriptions, though) and this would all be sort of like a "trainer abilities" sort of flavor thing. Just a quick reference to know what each of us is capable of.
I think I'll add in an officially-endorsed Homebrew class, just for Violet, as well.

I like LJCOMICs idea, I remember long ago a tabletop pokemon RPG adventures RP he was going to start, he sent me some long .pdf file with various informations, and I'm rather familiar with it.
... Sadly that RP wasn't ever started, was it? I can only hope that the same doesn't happens with this one. c:

Here we go, from the player handbook. Lovingly formatted for your copy/paste pleasure.
Oh yeah, Lunaxy, I remember that. Yeah, I wanted to start that thread as a warmup for this game that I was going to start IRL, but I found it to be more trouble than it was worth. Fortunately we'll just be borrowing some flavor for this game.
EDIT: Improved the formatting a bit, if you want to add this to the OP, Cynder.

Full Name: Morgan Jasper
Fake Name: Claire LeFay
Age: 18
Gender: Female
Class: Psychic
Appearance:
Accessories: Morgan does in fact keep that mask on her person as it is her trademark as Claire LeFay. And while it is not shown in the picture, she wears an amethyst ring on her right forefinger with a Gengar etched onto the inside of the band as a reminder of her lineage.
Element: Psychic
Region, Hometown: Kanto, Saffron City
Starter Pokemon: Abra
Current Pokemon Team:
Castor (Male Kadabra)
Hargreave (Metagross)
Mercury (Female Espeon)
Personality: Morgan is a very ambitious young woman with a pretty serious nature. She'll do anything to get what she wants, and she's sure she has the confidence to do it. She does become easily annoyed with stupid people and questions, but she has nearly unending patience when she meets someone with a similar sharp wit. People call her ornery, but she can be quite charming when necessary. While performing under her street persona, Claire LeFay, she adopts a domineering and theatrical personality, with just enough of an air of intrigue to keep her business appearing legitimate.
History / Biography: Morgan's parents were both trainers, but her father, Caleb Jasper comes from a long line of Ghost type masters. While he had hoped that Morgan would favor one of the Gastlys he had bred, she gravitated towards Psychic types from the start. Morgan showed some psychic ability while growing up, such as premonitions and the ability to somewhat read thoughts along with other neat parlor tricks, as her father called them. As she got older, the spectrum faded, but she retained many abilities that an empath may possess (as in being able to really understand another person's emotions, and possibly get a read on them from there) and she does still sometimes dream of future events. After choosing her partner, Castor at age ten, Morgan decided she would set up a street act to make some money. She took on the name Claire LeFay and impressed people with her observational skills coupled with luck and Castor's abilities. She made quite a name for herself as an act and eventually as a trainer, as people would challenge her to battles after the act.
At the age of sixteen, her father died suddenly, and her mother began to sink into a miserable state. She ordered Morgan to drop the act, and she obeyed so that should could be there for her mother when she really needed her. However, she kept having dreams that she would be setting off on a journey pretty soon, and even her mother couldn't hold her back when she got that idea in her head. Morgan traveled to several regions, trying to figure out what her great calling was, and making money with her act along the way. Eventually, after befriending two other Psychic types, she began to wonder if she could even use any other type, but after failing to find anything else of worth on her journey, she is now back in Saffron City.
Special Abilities / Traits/ Attributes: Slight psychic abilities played up with astute observations for her show, plus the rare premonition. She can understand her Pokemon and other humans' emotions, sometimes even taking them on herself to lessen their pain, and being able to guess at their thoughts via this method.
Other: Nothing that I can think of right now.
Also, I am interested to try out the class idea or whatever it is called that is being proposed currently.

I don't really see anything that fits Marcus in the class list. He has the physical abbilities of a Martial Artist, but the mind of a Mystic...
What do? D:
Sounds more like a psychic to me, with the whole ice-power thing.
And the divide is present for the sake of class balance. What would be the point of being a Martial Artist or a Mystic if you could just be both instead? Though in the late game I suppose you could multiclass.
I'm actually thinking zMystic, since he likes pokemon more than people.... We'll see when I edit him in the morning.
I would be willing to try the class idea, although I'm not entirely sure which one would fit Erik.
The point is, who will stop me?
Right, as we are only allowed pokemon of one type, instead of half the team having the type, I might want to switch to water, though I really don't see why people can't have half their element, and then the other a random assortment.
