After a while Avery moaned, turning her head and opening her eyes slowly. "what the....how the heck..." she sat up, then wishing she hadn't when pain rang all thru her body. She gasped, holding her ribs. She looked around, unsure if she was in danger or not. She then saw the demon from before asleep on the couch, the tv still on. She thought of the night before, then it clicked. "he helped me...but why?" she looked around and saw her pistols on the table, the bullets on floor by Matthew. She smiled. "at least his smart...." she picked up the pistols and put then back in their places then tried to get up, but gasped mad cursed loudly, holding onto her wounds

Matthnew herd her waking up and did so himself. He groaned slightly having a huge hangover from the day before. He sighed and then looked at her."OH you're up." He said calmly and then yawned."Don't try to shoot me I emptied your guns, they seem preety deadly to me." He said and raised his eyebrow."Oh and don't get you, your'e hurt pretty bad. I didwhat I could but I don't know how much it helped." He said and then got up and streched, turning off the TV.

She nodded, laying back down as she looked over at him. "why...did you...help me...you could have been one less hunter to worry about...." she flinched again, cursing slightly. "she....won't be the last....I have a price....on my head....I have to keep...moving..." she tried to sit up, but her body fought her and she fell back down. "bloody...."

"Well you sort of saved my life so I owed you one I guess." He shrugged and glanced at her."Yeah well as you see you're not really in a situation to move. "he sighed and stared at her."Stop moving you're only making ti worse. "he shook his head and glanced at her."A price over your head eh? Inever thought that there were colts left." He said and looked at her."But don't worry I won't kill you, I'm not here for that. "He stated and sighed.

She looked at him and said "we tried...to stay under the rader.....but nowim the last one left...and a big time demon found out and wants my soul on a plate...I've been running for weeks now....not much sleep....either..." she rubbed her eyes, trying to fight off the tired dulling feeling trying to take over. "but I have my own hunt to finish before the lights go out....I'm after more then just a demon...."

"after what are you exactly?" He asked and looked at her. Wait. she was a hunter. maybe she could tell him where was the demon he was searching for. He took out the photograph he had and put it infront of her face."did you see him by any chance?"

She sat up and looked at the picture, trying to place him. "I have...but it was a while ago...he was in a town right outside of Spokane Washington....nasty case I worked. But I only killed the werewolves and Skin Walkers...not him. Why do you want him?" She looked at him, eyebrow raised.

Matthew glanced at him and his eyes nearly sparkled with happines. But instead they turned back. He looked at her and sighed."how long ago was it? I must find this son of a bitchand kill him." He said and muttered under his breathe. He was so eager to kill that demon that his hands were itching.

She held up a hand, sitting up more. "Two week ago...and I heard he was heading this way...turns out his working with the thing I'm tailing...I believe we could, help one another."

Matthew raised his eyebrow and glanced at her."Working together you mean? And you trust me?" He asked and snickered."I'm really not the thing to trust you knwo. "He said and snickered a little."Demon here, remember? I betray, kill, torture and so on~" He said and grinned slightly
