Uncertainity (Luna Griffith x Eruraina)

[Luna Griffith]

Sara winced as Xi let the gun go off. She bit her lip. It was obvious that she didn't like guns. When the warning rang out, her eyes opened wide. "Time to go, Xi!" She yelled over the monotone voice. She grabbed his bloody hand, running out of the room. She was almost all the way covered in blood. She hoped that they could get out without anymore trouble, but she doubt it. After all Project X had gone insane. She bit her lip with worry.

[Eruraina]

When Sara went to grab his hand, he jolted away before she grabbed it and shook his head. He then went up to her and picked her up into his arms. She was light compared to some of the things the white coats had made him lift.
"Xi protect," he said. The white coats and black suited men with shields would come from the door Sara wanted to leave through. Not a good choice. With her in his arms he kicked one of the control panels, and the electricity on the floor of the test room below turned off.

Xi jumped through the window he had come through, and landed on the floor and ran. He ran to the door that led to the transportation tunnel, which he broke down and followed until they were in his holding tube. This glass he quickly broke with a punch. All the while he held Sara gently, careful not to jostle her in his arms as if she were the most precious thing in the world...

Sara gasped as Xi moved his hand away but instead picked her up. She gently wrapped her arms around him, careful of his spikes and anything else that could cause her harm. She smiled at the experiment. "Alright, I'll let you protect." She told him. Men came rushing in, S.W.A.T. and the white coats. She bit her lip as he destroyed the control panel and jumped out the window. She closed her eyes as they fell down to the ground. She wasn't too good with heights.

She smiled when they landed safely and he ran through the tunnel. She looked ahead of them as he ran. She leaned into him as he smashed the glass of the tube. She was amazed with how much restraint he had. He could have escaped anytime he had wanted to but didn't. She directed him on the way to get out, hoping that she wouldn't lead him into a trap.

As Sara told him where to go, so he went, keeping her in his arms, cradling her close to his chest like a precious baby. Any doors they came to, he simply pounded through.

If he had known it would be this easy, Xi would have done this long ago. Nothing in his way stopped him, even the thick doors that dropped in the hallways to prevent him from getting out. For the most part, they didn't run into anybody. Though Xi wondered where they were going. For all he knew the world was just a labyrinth of metal tunnels. For he had seen nothing else...

Sara was leading Xi to the secret exit. It hadn't been used since the building was made. She had stumbled on it a long time ago. She was amazed by all of the strength and endurance he was showing this day. Her scientific mind was processing it, like he was going through one of the testing but her caring self was worried about how badly he had been hurt. That had won out in her. She couldn't wait to show him the outside world. A part of her worried about how he would react to it though.

"Where we going?" he finally asked as they turned down another tunnel with a series of closed doors. "Safe place?"
The thought that he might be leading him to a trap never occurred to him. She had told him to trust her, so he did. And he expected her to trust him, because he planned to not hurt her. Ever. Or let her get hurt...

Sara smiled and nodded. "Yes, we are going somewhere safe. But first we have to get out of here." Soon they were at the secret exit. It just looked like a plain room. She smiled and slid out of Xi's arms. She went to a wall and tapped at it. Suddenly a door opened up. "Shall we, Xi?" She asked as she looked back at him. She held her hand out for him to take. She was just glad that no one knew of this exit yet. It would make things a lot easier on them.

Xi stopped when it seemed like they had reached a dead end. There were no more doors, just walls. He wasn't sure what to do from here. From what he could see there wasn't anything leading out. But then Sara left his arms and went up to the wall and tapped it and an entry way was made. But from the entry way came a strange light, which confused Xi. What was this new place.

But Sara was with him, and he trusted Sara, so he stepped forward towards her and the entry way...

Sara could see the uncertainty in Xi's features. He didn't know anything about the outside world. Each time she had tried to teach him, she would get into a lot of trouble and the books would be taken away. None of them wanted him to be educated. They wanted a fighting machine. And that was what they had gotten and now they were dead. She smiled as he moved toward her. She took his hand into her own before leading the way into the light.

Before them was a wooded area. The lab had been in the middle of nowhere. She looked around carefully and saw that no one was around. She grinned with relief. They had expected them to go out the front or back, not through a secret entrance. "Come on, Xi. It's alright. These are the woods. Remember, I showed you a picture." She said softly as she tried to lead him away from the building.

As soon as they stepped out the door, Xi stopped. Just like he did when he entered the tresting area. The light here was bright, brighter than he had ever seen before. It took a long moment for them to adjust. But Xi could not see the source, or the ceiling that it would be set it. Just a great expanse of blue as far as he could see. And infront of him, so many different colors, smells, sounds.
"This..." he started to say, but stopped. He didn't have a word for it. "Woods..." he copied Sara, but that was what it was, but it didn't describe what he saw. The word he was searching for was beautiful, but he had never heard that word before, so he could not use that word to describe it. "How big?" he wondered, and started into the trees...
