The third bandit came back in with a lunge, which Kale once again easily batted away the attack and spun around with a back fist that caught the man off guard.
The bandit fell over the rail and splashed into the river, disappearing quickly underneath the current.
Kale's eyes quickly fell upon the other bandit, who at this time decided that life was more important than dying with his comrades.
The bandit limped away into the forest, leaving behind his sword which still laid upon the bridge.
Kale wiped his blade clean as he sheathed it, turning to look at Morgana, smiling.
"Nothing better than a morning fight to clean out those lungs, eh?" laughed Kale.
He took a step and the plank below him snapped, as the knight fell through the bridge which crumbled and broke.
Both kale and the bridge splashed into the water, as he began desperately trying to swim against the strong current.
However, the full plate which the dragon slayer wore only made things worse, as kale soon began slipping under the water.

Morgana laughed and nodded at what Kale said. Her eyes grew wide as he fell into the water. She ran over to the edge as he sunk in the water. His armor was too heavy to allow him to swim. She tossed down her staff and jumped into the river after him. She swam down grabbing his arm. She tried with all of her might to pull him up out of the killing cold river. There were worry in her eyes as she looked at the knight. 'Please let me save him.' She prayed as she tugged at his hand.

Suddenly as if the Gods themselves heard her cries of help, Kale became snagged on a fallen tree that stretched forth over the river, only a few yards down.
His head popped up outta the water, just barely as the river struck his face, waking him up.
Kale then realized that Morgana had jumped into the river to save him, with what strength he could muster...he pulled her closer to himself.
The knight pushed Morgana upon the tree, "Go...I am....right....behind...you." he said in gasps as the water filled his mouth.

Morgana was glad that the tree was there. She doubt she would have been able to pull him up. She gasped for air when Kale pulled her closer to him. She smiled at him, checking to see if he was alright. Though he told her to go and she nodded. She climbed up the tree, shivering as the air hit her wet clothing. She looked back down at the knight to make sure he was following her. "Well....I can honestly say...that our lives aren't boring."

Kale climbed and drug his wet heavy laden body from the cold mountain river.
"Nev-ver...a...d-du-dull..m-ma-moment." said Kale as his teeth chattered, and his body shook.
"Ma-may-maybe...a fi-fi-fire...woo..would...be..best." shook Kale, as he started to remove his armor.
Kale stood up slowly, "I wi-will...ne-ne-need...your...hel-help." he said as he breathed too fast.
"So-so c-co-col-d." said Kale as his body continued to shake, "My-my ha-hands..are..nu-numb."

Morgana smiled at Kale as he said that there was never a dull moment. The poor thing looked frozen. She was cold too but she hid it better. She smiled as she went to help him. She undid his armor and took it off. She laid it down by where she was going to set up the wood for the fire. She kept on shivering every so often. If they weren't out in the open she would suggest that they strip down so they could dry their clothes. She cast the spell and soon a fire erupted to life on the wood. "Come on, Kale. The fire should dry us off."

Kale turned around, his clothing was in his hands in a bundle, "Um, I remember Dagorn's keep that winter, have you forgot?"
"I nearly died from hypothermia, not taken that chance this time." he said, his voice still shaky.
Kale laid out his clothes around the fire, then pulled his sleep roll from the backpack.
He wrapped the blanket around himself as he sat close to the fire.
"I would advise you do the same." said Kale, as he closed his eyes.
"Then come sit with me in my blanket, our bodies and the fire should keep us safe from harm." he said.

Morgana blushed and turned her face away when Kale showed that he wasn't wearing his clothes. She bit her lip as she listened to everything, hiding her blush. Though it crept along her features. She didn't need a fire now, she was just hot from the thought of laying her naked body next to his. She slowly removed her clothes and laid them next to the fire. She then moved to the blanket and got in beside him. "Like this?" She asked as she snuggled her cold, wet body next to his. Her hand gently touched his toned stomach.

Kale swallowed hard, and when he said "Yes" it came out in a almost high pitch.
He quickly coughed, trying to hide his embarrassing moment, knowing good and well, that his cheeks were turning red.
He wrapped the blanket closed around Morgana, the warmth of her skin and the fire, made Kale drift off a little.
"This feels so much better than Dagorn's keep." sighed Kale, as he relaxed a little too much.

Morgana blushed as Kale squeaked out a yes. He coughed to hide it though and she smiled. She stayed close to the knight as he wrapped the blanket close around her. Her breath gently touched his skin and if she hadn't been as cold as him, she would have been able to tell that this was much needed to keep him alive. She giggled slightly as he said this was better than the keep. "Well I am glad." She said softly to him, her hand feeling every ab on his stomach.
