NAME:
Bishop Vurrat.
RACE:
Human.
AGE:
Prologue: Twelve.
Thereafter: Twenty.
APPEARANCE:
"Comely," may be the most neutral of adjectives used to describe Bishop. His admirers - primarily ladies, mind you - might use "gorgeous." His enemies - primarily boys, mind again - might say "pretty boy." Whether comely, gorgeous, or pretty-boy suits your vernacular, one thing is certain: Mr. Vurrat is a very attractive young man. Both tall and well-built, Bishop's physique speaks of excessive physical labor; his sharp, dazzlingly blue eyes tell the tale of rigorous mental exercise. His hair, black and rather shiny, is drawn back tightly into a ponytail. Even garbed in the less-than-flattering garb of his monastic order, Bishop Vurrat cuts a figure.
HISTORY:
Like the overwhelming majority of his kin, Bishop found himself in the gentle hands of the Jedi Order before the babe was even yet old enough to recognize - or, even, lament the loss of - his progenitors (to name Bishop's genetic donors as his "parents" might convey a lack of understanding in the way of the Order - who is, and will always be, a Jedi's only true family). The infant firmly planted himself in the Infancy Care Hall of the temple on Coruscant, not unlike a hundred others around him - it would be during his formative and adolescent years that Bishop distinguished himself, and sprouted.
Before he had even made it to two years old, Bishop Vurrat was transferred - due to overcrowding at Coruscant and undercrowding in the enclave - to Dantooine, a smaller temple established amidst a farming community on a wholly dull and uninteresting planet. The boy excelled from a young age, mastering his studies of the Way and dominating even larger children in lightsaber spars. Bishop befriended many non-Jedi allies, establishing himself as a jack of all trades by learning how to slice a lock and pilot a cargo freighter before he was even nine - though, of course, it would take him many years to ever master such skills. His talents attracted the attention of the elder Jedi within the enclave - but, moreso, his fiery, idealistic attitude drew their ire.
Now, at twelve years of age, Bishop is somewhat persona non grata at the Enclave - that isn't to imply that he is no longer welcome, nor that any of the Jedi even dislike him. However, the elders - the Council included - grow weary of his antics and mishaps. His "friends," once numerous, now shy away from Bishop Vurrat, unwilling to bring down the same negative attention on themselves.
Bishop is, truly, quite alone.
PERSONALITY:
Bishop Vurrat is, by any who might describe him, a trouble maker. Of course, via the magic of self-description, Bishop considers himself an idealist! He is, at heart, a courageous young lad, and would only endeavor to aid others during his career as a Jedi. Friendly to a fault, and charismatic to boot, Bishop was - until he attracted the disapproval of the Council - a very popular young boy.
SPECIAL SKILLS:
Bishop is, first and foremost, a Sentinel. Though he is quite good at lightsaber combat and usage of the Force, he does not dominate either. He also possesses a vast array of non-Jedi skills; piloting, hacking, lock-picking, etc.
