Digimon: Goddess of the Digi-Dome

Nodding at EbiBurgamon, Zan ran down the stairs, continuing the chase.

Coronamon had made it back to the archways. Hearing the footsteps of his pursuers behind him, he looked around, before running through an archway at random just as Zan made it back, catching a glimpse of the escaping Digimon, "You're not getting away that easily!" Zan called after Coronamon.

Melanie

Coronamon ran down one of the archways the group hadn't been down before! Melanie was on Zan's heels, trying to keep up when they entered the new archway. It was a short run down the the hall before it opened up into a large room with three more archways on the left, right, and far wall!

"Great, now what?" Melanie said, looking around.

"That way!" Both Melanie and EbiBurgamon said in sync, but they were pointing at two different archways. "No, it's this way Melanie." EbiBurgamon said, pointing to the left archway.

"But I could've sworn he went to the right!" Melanie said with her finger still pointing to the right archway. "Are you sure you saw him go left?"

"I'm not so sure this time... I saw something tho." He replied.

hopmon looked at makuramon now with big watery eyes, as it was licking the bubble. almost up to it's lower jaw was filled with the in trainings saliva. as it was trying so hard to eat the bubble it was in. the little baby dino would soon be drowning in it's own drool if it remained in it much longer.

Makuramon and Yokomon

"Awe, let him out before he drowns!" Yokomon said, looking at the bubble fill up with Hopmon's saliva.

"Well..." Makuramon said hesitantly, he looked down at Hopmon's big watery eyes and he gave in. "Hm. You'd better behave or I'll put you back inside this bubble and let you drown next time." Makuramon said. He raised the bubble from his hand and hovered it over to the seat beside Yokomon, a safe distance away just in case. With a snap of his finger, Makuramon released Hopmon and the bubble disappeared.

"Alright, we'll split up. There's three of us and only three ways he could have gone, I'll go that way, and you two go where you think he went." Zan told Melanie and EbiBurgamon, pointing the archway at the far wall, then ran through it without giving them a chance to speak.

Coronamon panted in exhaustion, "I think I lost them!" He said, feeling satisfied with himself for getting away from another one, or so he thought anyway.

Melanie

"You can't go by yourself..." Melanie said, she reached up to take EbiBurgamon from her hat.

"No time! I'll be fine, you worry to much Melanie." EbiBurgamon jumped out of her arms and started running down the left archway.

"Ok! Be safe!" Melanie shouted after him, then she ran down the right archway.

EbiBurgamon hovered across the floor of the castle, looking around the long and narrow hall. It was completey quiet and he was all by himself. "Will this hall ever end?" He asked himself. He looked back and realized he had walked a long way. Can't turn back now, he thought. Finally he approached a curve in the hall where on the left he could see out to the courtyard through three glassless windows. He came to an opening to his left that opened up into the courtyard, and from there he could see the courtyard door on the otherside. It was the same door that he and the others had went through earlier before Coronamon ran off. "Great... I picked the wrong direction." EbiBurgamon whined. He kept walking passed the courtyard opening, further down the hall, until he could see the other end which opened up into a large ballroom.

He wasn't sure how long he had been running in this same hallway, but Zan was starting to get tired of all the running. Finally coming out the other side, he looked around the room, "I know you're here, you can't hide forever, ya know!" Zan called out, though nothing was there to really answer back.

Coronamon turned around when he heard someone come into the ballroom, "Oh, just you." Coronamon said, sounding disappointed that the neither of the humans were the ones to find him.

EbiBurgamon

"Hey it's you!" EbiBurgamon shouted in his child-like voice. He could see Coronamon near one of the many pillars in the ballroom. He was much smaller than Coronamon, but he felt he must try and do something to help Zan and Melanie. His tiny winged ears fluttered quickly to keep his little body hovering in one place, but it seemed effortless. He looked up at Coronamon and, trying to find the right words to say without sounding bossy, asked "Uh, maybe you could come with me... and you could pretend like I caught you and maybe just maybe we can be friends... how bout it?" EbiBurgamon asked with his little voice, and managed a hopeful smile.

"Sorry! No can do. I'm having way too much fun!" Coronamon told the little Digimon, patting him on the head, "Besides, making strange Digimon I don't even know chase me is pretty much the only thing to do around here, you know what I mean?" Coronamon had to admit, even though he had never been outside of this castle for so long, he had never seen any Digimon like the two that EbiBurgamon had been with. He kinda liked them.

EbiBurgamon

"But I'm the only digimon who was chasing you. Oh, you mean Melanie and Zan?" EbiBurgamon asked. He looked up at Coronamon after being patted on the head and chuckled, "They aren't digimon, they're humans!" He informed him. "What are you doing in the Digi-Goddess' castle anyway?" He asked curiously. He rested his wings and plopped on the ground.
