"Come my X-men," Xavier chided Cessily, " it is not as I'd we'll abandon you upon the planet if you become stranded. Though the other teams may enjoy some running for losing a Blackbird but then, back at the mansion, how many jets have a lost?

"No, the simple reason is because this ship is the size of a small city and there is no turning in space. If we have to turn around it will be months before we can get up to speed again."

Though irreplaceable, as far as Xavier was concerned, their true resource lay before them,, his children. Fractious, divided, list, tired and confused yet when needed were implacable, resolute stalwart and capable. They were everything that was humanity, the best and the worst, and they were astonishing. If the world they left behind could see it.

He also wished Travis could see it. The poor man was struggling.

"As Aegis says; that will be all for the moment," Xavier concluded, watching for anyone to interject, "we just needed you all on standby. We couldn't risk some of you sleeping through the mission, or otherwise disabling yourselves, or disappearing deep into the engines whet the shielding would block radio signals."

Aegis left the war room and walked to the gym, where he started to stretch. He kept seeing the planet in his head, and exhaled slowly as he tried to recall details about the planet he had seen it in his head. He recalled details that were said today at the meeting. Why was the planet so familiar to him? He heard the door tithe gym open, but he didnt turn to face the person. He didn't care and just was waiting for the call to depart for the planet.

Surspringly enough the person who came in was actually Bromine, who had followed Aegis from the meeting into the gym where he rarely ever showed his face on the count of not needing to ever actually work out on the count of metal body and all. He glanced over Aegis a bit from the distance before approaching. "Alright... I'll bite, what's up with the paranoia anyways?" Bromine asked coming up to Aegis' side. He leaned up to the nearest wall, where he glanced over to the gaming area/lounge that the gym resided next to. Watching a still dejected looking Travis ride on the mini half pipe. "It's a plant planet thing, unless we're going to get attacked by some soul singing mutant that craves flesh all the time, I fail to see what's to be so worried about at this moment." He paused for a moment. "Then again to be fair I also haven't driven myself into about a dozen comas making shields...."

Dozer looked at Scott as he spoke to him "I am not entirely sure why i understand all these languages, i think it's a combination of the Ruby and my telepathic abilities, but don't count on me reading minds in battle." he replied. he then heard the professor speak "don't worry about me falling asleep on the job, i don't sleep, i wait." he said, he then walked out of the war room with everyone else.

"Hey, Bromine." Aegis started. "Yeah, I guess it is closing in on a dozen times. And about the planet... I... I don't know. I can't quite explain it. The truth is I've occasionally had visions, mostly when I was younger, and most of them were correct. I still have them, but much less often. I've seen that planet before. I remember seeing something dangerous. It, maybe they, were angered by something we did and we were attacked. I have been trying to find the trigger. Now I have run out of time. I must do my best to protect, and find the trigger and prevent it from occurring." Aegis stood and cursed silently. "I am strong enough to protect us all. I just need to protect us. But where is the trigger?"

"Hey Bromine? You alright? You've been standing there a while. Is something wrong?" Aegis asks. (This is a bump)
