Kar glanced at the stone cracking. "Will she survive?" He asked.
"Be there shortly. I think I almost found Kilowog." Hal replied. "I've followed his track to deep in the downtown area."
Wings sighed and said "It depends on the mental waves of the living being...Maggie and I have met many whose race was not known for the skill but still have the chance at learning it..." She went back to Hal and said "Ka'tera found a way to break Maggie out. YOu might want to come back here. She might have seen something"
The stone didn't move at first, then it slowly started to crack and chip, starting at the feet and running upward. Wings watched and said "Please let us not be too late..."
Kar glanced at the stone cracking. "Will she survive?" He asked.
"Be there shortly. I think I almost found Kilowog." Hal replied. "I've followed his track to deep in the downtown area."
Wings said "Alright...but hurry Hal. I still have a bad feeling" The stone finally reached the top and shattered, leaving a very pale shaking Maggie standing there. She swayed, blinking for a moment then she fell backward, her eyes closing. Wings said "Maggie!"
Ka'tera ran over. Frowning, she touched Maggie to heal her. Hopefully it wasn't to late.
Kar came over. "Perhaps I should get help." He offered concerned.
Ka'tera closed her eyes, her face showing concentration. Finally she nodded. "Barely but I do believe it is getting stronger." She said, giving a sigh of relief. "Any longer and we might have had to try other methods to save her."
Kar frowned. "So you guys can die?" He asked. "I thought you guys were immortal?"
Wings sighed and said "it takes a lot to kill an angel but yes they can die do you mind not asking so many questions right now? Just wait until we are sure our angel is alright. And where on Helios is Hal?" Maggie stirred slightly but not in anyway she was waking up any time soon
Kar bowed. "My apologies." He stated.
Ka'tera frowned. "She's taking longer than normal." She stated. "I wonder if there was some components in chemical makeup of the stone that is slowing down her recovery." She thought for a moment. "Are you able to scan her molecular level and see?" She asked.
Ka'tera bit her lip. "Depending on the levels, I might be able to heal her." She wasn't going to let on, that if the radiation was too much, the combination of healing Maggie and breaking the stone set could quickly wear her out. If only she has more endurance. Suddenly an idea came to her. Reaching inside her shirt, she pulled out her necklace. Holding it tightly she closed her eyes and then touched Maggie. She whispered something in her language. The indigo amulet glowed sending power through her to Maggie. Clenching the amulet tightly, Ka'tera clenched her teeth as extreme power flowed through her into Maggie. Dropping the amulet, Ka'tera took a deep breath. Opening her eyes she glanced at Maggie. "That should have done it." She stated.
