"Hurts more than it probably should," she responded quietly. "I don't mean to make him mad, Ron. I just...I want him to see me, you know?"
Ron was the only person Fiala truly opened up with. She trusted him, far more than any one else she had ever known.

Will sighed and stood, checking that all the paper work was in order. "If you see Fiala tell her to come by my office as soon as possible. And it's an order for her, not a request."

Ronald sighed softly, "...I don't think William means to hurt you, either, Fiala...I mean...he honestly always had issues with his emotions...Maybe sometimes...he just loses control of them..." He wanted to console the young lady, "...Maybe you two should talk everything out someday...Maybe with a mediator in the room, too...?" he suggested.

Amane gave a slightly nod, avoiding William's eyes, "Yes, sir." she gave another small bow before turning and heading to the door, her dark flats making little to no sound against the floor of the office.

[Cecily Phantom]

"It won't matter. He won't see me...he never will." Fiala stared at Ron, tears brimming. "I'm scared.....scared that I'll turn into him or mom. She was beaten again last night by her newest boyfriend...."

William sighed, sitting heavily down into his seat. Running a hand through his hair, he closed his eyes and relaxed.

"Again?!" Ronald was shocked. How many times had this been? One too many...That was for sure. He saw the tears in her eyes, "Fiala..." he gave her a gentle hug, "Does William know about it...? About...how she's being beaten...?" he asked softly.

Amane made her way to Fiala's office, looking inside. She wasn't surprised to see her gone. With a quiet sigh she headed to where she suspected Fiala to be: Ronald's office.

"Not like's going to care. He never has. Not since they split up." she couldn't but start to sob, clinging to Ron with all the strength she could manage. "And this one's worse because after he's gotten her so drunk she passes out, he makes passes at me....It's so terrible, Ron."

Ronald tightened his hold, "Fiala you need to tell someone. That guy seriously needs to get his ass thrown in jail or something...COme on, if you just tell your dad, we can get something done about it." He rubbed her back gently, trying to comfort her, "He has to care enough to do something..."

Amane heard them talking and was hesitant to interrupt...But she had been given an order...She quietly knocked on the door to get their attention, "Miss Stastny...Mister Knox...?"

Fiala tensed. How much had she heard? How long had she been standing there, waiting to knock on Ron's door? The thought that Amane knew her secrets scared her more than the abuse she suffered at home and she only curled herself more into Ron, seeking his warmth and comfort.

"What is it?" Ronald asked, holding Fiala tighter.

"Mister Spears asked me to come fetch Miss Stastny...That it is an order she go to his office..." Amane called inside softly.

"She'll be there in a while, alright?"

Amane gave a nod, though it wasn't seen through the door, "Yes...of course." she answered before turning slightly and leaving.

She let out a sigh, but never loosened her hold. "I can't tell Will. Mom's boyfriend would find out and only hurt her more. it'd be alright if she weren't getting hurt...."
But it wouldn't solve her other issue. Despite the office rumors, Fiala wasn't a whore. In fact, she was still a virgin. She simply enjoyed the game of flirting, like Ron.

"William cares a lot, Fiala...Even if it doesn't seem that way..." He whispered, "And that guy will be taken away before he even has the chance to hurt you or your mom..."
