I'll edit this in too once I get home again but it's the second week of spring term on campus. The college is in a large suburban area and the the trees are just beginning to get their leaves back as the weather begins to warm up again.

Ross isn't particularly tall nor short, standing at 5'9. He has beautiful silky brown hair that goes right down to his eyes and till the base of his neck. His eyes are a deep sky blue and his facial features and contours result in Ross belonging to the better looking half of the humanr ace. He is always seen wearing a yellow beanie, with X designs in mixture of brown and white at its base. Ross is actually muscular but the fact is hidden by his slim build as well as his clothes. Ross always wears a yellow jacket, with compliments his beanie with its similar design. It is sleeveless, but Ross's arms are covered anyway as he wears a long sleeve plain black shirt underneath it. As for his lower body, Ross wears black jeans and sneakers.

Background:
Ross is actually quarter Asian, his grandmother from the paternal side of his family had migrated to the stats from Japan many years back. Despite only being a quarter, Ross's Asian qualities are especially strong and many have mistaken him to be one. He was brought up in a family that belonged in the higher echelons of society. His father made sure that education and manners were drilled into Ross at a young age. It was a hellish childhood that was under the complete control of his parents. However, everything changed when his father's banking business started to collapse. It was hectic, both of his parents were far too busy trying to save it than focus on him. Eventually, the company crumpled. After several unusual circumstances, he was sent to live with his aunt in Montana. By this time, Ross was already fourteen. Under the care of his aunt, the next few years of his life proceeded smoothly, partially due to the skills that he obtained in his childhood. He was doing spectacular in both studies and athletics.

Five years have passed and Ross is currently studying in Kelham University in Cheswood, South Dakota, majoring in International Business.

Appearance: James is
n’t the tallest guy in the world, only reaching about 5’10 in height. What he misses in height, he makes up for in athleticism; favoring a medium build. James has light tan on his skin, as he often ventures outside. He has a short, brown hair. Recently he shaved his head, military style, so he is close to being bald. James has bright, blue eyes. His lips are thin, and often shaping into a smile. Unlike his nearly bald head, James has a rather thick, brown, beard; he doesn't like to shave.

James always wears the same necklace. An eagle feather connected to some golden thread. The necklace was a gift from his father, who had received it from his father before him.

Personality: (Revealed throughout the roleplay. Don’t want to write something here, and then not stick with it.)

Background: James grew up in cheswood. Both his parents were good people, raising him to respect everything; even the world around them. Though, growing up, James thought that most of what they told him was just a load of crap. Being a homeschooled student left James without many friends, which is why he tries to make as many as he can. Once he was finished with his homeschooling, he decided that he wanted to join the local university; that didn’t happen for another three years. During the 3 years after homeschooling, James took on as many jobs as he could. In an attempt to pay for his college. A month before he was off to go to Kelham University, his father was killed in an car crash. Soon after that his Mother left Cheswood, no longer wanting to live there, she moved to Texas to live with her sister. Now James is attending class at Kelham, majoring in history.

Name: Emily Gibbs

Personality:
Emily is a sweet, if sometimes shy, young woman who always does her best to please those around her. She is slow to anger and quick to repent, rarely going a full day without apologizing for some thing or another. She has very high expectations for herself, particularly where theatre or grades are concerned, and gets easily frustrated with herself if she does not meet them. If insulted or told that she's wrong about something, regardless of whether or not she actually is, she has a tendency to simply agree to keep the peace.

Appearance:
Emily isn't the type that most look twice at. She's of average height, roughly 5'7, and her curvy figure is frequently hid under sweaters and over-sized clothing. Her mass of wavy auburn hair rarely wants to lie flat, no matter how many barrettes and hair ties she uses in an attempt to subdue it. She keeps it barely past shoulder length, in an attempt to keep it from being too much of a hassle, but it still tends to fall into and hide her face, which in itself is mostly unremarkable. Her large, clear blue eyes and the freckles that dot her cheeks are her most noticeable features. Despite spending the vast majority of her time inside, she has the slightest of natural tans and, excusing the odd stress induced blemish or two, a healthy complexion. On the inside of both of her upper arms she has large, mostly healed burns from working with hot lights, as well as several smaller ones on her lower arms.

Background:
Born to a poor family in a small town near the Texas-Louisiana border, Emily never had many toys or luxuries. While her parents were still living together they fought often, so she spent much of her time simply trying to avoid them. She had three little brothers and a baby sister before her parents finally broke up, and she'd dedicated herself to keeping them happy even when her parents could not. They alternated time with their parents, staying with their mother and aunt in their hometown during the school year and with their father in New Orleans, where he'd moved, in the summer. Both parents worked low paying jobs, and it was usually their grandmother who bought them the things they needed. Emily often found herself growing jealous of her friends who had more, and decided that she'd be the first to go to college and make something of herself.

She developed a love of a theatre when she was eleven, and a theatre near her father's house did shows that were free for students. At first she hoped to become a famous actress, but actually joining her school's theatre production class showed her there was more to theatre than acting. She worked as a lightning technician for a show her freshman year, and quickly found that working tech was her calling. She spent almost every day at rehearsals, honing her talent and building a lighting portfolio. It was that portfolio that got her a scholarship to Kelham University. She's a freshman there, majoring in theatre with an emphasis in lighting design, and is determined to graduate with honors and eventually become a lighting designer.
