    Lonely

Ok I admit...I have work and church and stuff. That's why I try to stick to 1x1's with only 1 or 2 casual or advanced ones going. But it seems i have like 10 rp's that have been in the brainstorm stage and then they just get dropped. Or the 2 or 3 casuals I put up were like "hey i no like you let's not say yes to this one" I swear. Im lonely. lol anyone else in this predicament?

My only advice would be to keep on trying. You've only been here a little while. Maybe try a group, you have a better chance of hitting it off with someone in a larger pool of people and once you have the connection you can try a 1x1 with them. 1x1's with people you know and like can be a delight. I hope you find your niche and get some wonderful RPs.

I don't put too much value on the things so I hardly ever notice. o.O? If an RP never gets anywhere (sometimes known as: "Dying before it starts") I just let it go. Happens here and there. Group games are no different. At least with a 1v1 you know who's at fault.

Note: It's always you, not the other RPer.

Note #2: That's a collective you, which also includes myself.

People going, "I dun like you so no can RP," would probably end up on my ignore list. I really ain't got the will to deal with that nonsense. "Oh. You don't like me? Okay. I'll remind myself not to contact you in the future."

    What the above said.

It was a good few months before I 'clicked' with anyone on this site after I joined. And a good year before I felt like I got into games I really, really enjoyed.

It takes a while, and it takes patience, for anything 'meaningful'.

Actually, quite the opposite because I developeded a super-effective coping-system.

Now I'm deadlocked into thirty-seven roleplays and counting.

    ...

    Help.

Method: If you can't start 'em, join 'em. And FOLLOW THROUGH.
-Even if they're a bit wierd, pick up the ball and run with it.

Someone is going to chase you for it, eventually.

If the GM drops his ball, pick it up and keep it in play.

I agree with trying some of the group ones. If one person disappears in a 1x1 or looses intrest, the whole thing is dead. At least in a group the game can continue, and you are meeting more people all at once. If you like even one person you meet in the game of 5 players, you can play or make games with those people again in the future.

Don't forget to pass it to your teammates, though.

...or, if you are me, play "keep away" from yourself. It's kinda like passing.
