I need advice on what laptop I should get

I'm getting a laptop. I want something that's nice altogether, but I really want something to do minor gaming on. I don't need a nuclear weapon that plays things like Call of Duty, or Skyrim, just something that'll play games like Terraria, Mount and Blade:Warband, and Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines. A friend recommended a Insperon 15R to me, with an i5 processor for $600, but I just wanted to ask you guys if there was anything better I could get. Just so you know, I'm not willing to go over $600.

Oh, and if you plan to say that I should just get a desktop for gaming, don't bother. I need something portable most of all.

Laptops you can't really do the 'piece by piece' thing like with a desktop -- I mean I'm sure you CAN, it's just.... whatever. Anyway your best bet is to take that $600 and shop around TigerDirect, Best Buy, Comp USA, Staples, Dell, HP, whatever other websites.... just check out as many as you've got patience for. Google "Buy Gaming Laptop 599.99" and see what pops up. You never know who's gonna have a sale on what day, so you might wanna look around for a while before committing. But sooner or later you'll find one you like better than the rest, and then you order it. Nice thing is, buying online is usually state-tax-free, so you'll save some cash.

Funny thing is, online buying actually is NOT tax-free. The state just can't really enforce an online tax, so they request that you be honest and pay the tax directly to them.
