    The Fight For Arabella

What was said to be the end of all days began in the warm spring morning, a soft breeze flowing throughout the soft blue skies, the harshness of the years winter ending and the promise of a bright time of seeding crops and letting out the children to roam the streets of their newly found warmth seemed to be evident. Little did they know that their King who had been buried only a week before was not simply killed by an angered peasant or an assassin but his from his own flesh and blood.

The true King had brung life to several children, his wife Julliana gorgeous and youthful aswell as having amazing passion blue eyes and their children were Victor, Michel, Vivia, Ramona, and Wilde. Their eldest son Victor had always been a rumbustious boy, full of promise since he would soon be the future King, determined and well mannered, civilized yet rebellious in nature. The towns people often remembered seeing the kings son Victor walking among the market streets, giving bread and other small gifts to the children, always trying to help the kingdom since one day he would take over what his father left. Jousting was one of Victor's favourite activities, bringing his little sisters and brothers to watch as he practiced jousting with his best friend Peter, although unexperienced it soon became an expertise, a skill that needed fine tuning.

This skill became nothing but an empty promise when Victor, now in his twenties, a fully grown man with ambitions and dreams that became broken on an unfortunate night. Victor had left the castle as night, wanting to walk among the Kingdom and had ended up in the fields, strolling through the grassy perfection that was well maintained by the farms not far away. As he walked something had caught his eye, several of the animals were laying on the ground. Victor ran over, noticing the chunks of meat that had been torn apart, blood everywhere and he couldn't help but feel himself tremble as he heard a soft sucking noise. His gaze turned behind him, seeing a dark figure bent over one of the cows and the figures eyes raised, dark but flashing eyes and then he saw fangs.

"You are the creature of the devil. Leave here!" Victor shouted, running towards the castle but his breath was taken as the vampire appeared in front of him. He could see much more clearly, a young woman with very pale skin, blood covering her mouth and lips and an almost innocent and mesmerizing smile played over her lips. "Dear boy, do not shudder in my prescense." The young woman giggled, her eyes gazing from his face and down his body, noticing his fine clothes and a dainty eyebrow raised. "Who are you... Please tell me?"

Almost in a completely drawn in way, his eyes not blinking he spoke. "I am Prince Victor, the future King of Arabella." The womans smile brightened and she moved her face closer to his, a hand sliding over his neck and she stroked a finger along the vein that pulsed against his skin. "Is that so?" She asked but before he could answer her fangs were bared and she bit deeply into his neck, drinking his blood and indulging in the prince's weak state. As more and more blood flooded into her mouth Victor began to feel himself being drained, his heart slowing and they had reached the ground, the woman feeding off of him and he knew he was going to die.

"Mmm... I always was very fond of prince's." The woman raised his lips, licking the red liquid from her lips and she smiled with a soft almost intoxicated giggle. "Now... I will do something for you. You will become as I am, a creature of the night. If you do not do as I say, you will die." The woman said this so calmy that Victor almost didn't disagree but he shook his head with wide eyes as she bite into her wrist, lowering her hand and pressing the bloody wound against his mouth. "Drink it." She urged but Victor shook his head.

"Drink of my blood or you shall parish in hell." Victor's eyes widened and he felt the blood trickle into his mouth and he felt his mouth press against her wrist, drinking in her blood deeply, the young woman closing her eyes in an almost delighted way as he drank and she brushed back the hair from his forehead. "Good boy..."

    50 Years Later

    Thea
Princess Thea felt herself awaken, glistening with sweat and her chest heaved heavily, her dream of darkness and death providing her with this rude awakening. The young girl was the kings youngest daughter, the daughter to his final wife and she was known as the most gorgeous woman in the entire kingdom. At the age of 17 she had soft honey hair and soft but luscious porcelain skin that made many men fall to their knees, begging for her hand in marriage but her father had rejected all of them, always wanting his daughter to choose for herself.

Thea did not know what to think anymore, her father had been murdered, found at his throne, neck sliced apart and no one had seen the culprit. The kingdom went into an outrage and panic and it wasn't until a mysterious man showed into the kingdom that a calmness began. Victor was said to be a distant cousin but according to papers he was to take place in the manner that the King fell. Thea did not trust Victor, his dark mysterious eyes, his almost white skin and harsh words made it almost impossible but she had no choice. The young woman slid from her bed, wearing a white soft nightgown and it shimmied down to the floor as she unbuttoned it, stepping out of the ensemble and she stepped in front of the mirror, admiring her almost eighteen year old body.

    Thomas
The young visitor had awoken early and was already seated at the dining room, a plate of freshly cooked sausages and eggs placed in front of him, aswell as a goblet of cider and a thick peice of bread. Thomas had been in the kingdom for the passed two days, only seeing the new king at night which made it almost impossible to track down what Victor was doing but as he ate he thought in his mind what would make it possible to show what was going on.

Cara wiped her brow as sweat dripped down onto the ground. Her leather halter top and short leather shorts helped, but the work was still tedious and hard. She had already set the cattle to graze and finished with the corn, but now the grapes had to be picked. She would have to make a note to do grapes first, since by the end of the day she was so tired her hands didn't want to be delicate anymore. she flicked her black hair back over her shoulder, the pony tail held up with red ribbon. She sat back in the dirt with a sigh, looking around at the grape vines growing up along the special fence she had built for them. the Winery would be happy for this crop. She sniffed the air lightly, taking joy in the scents since the first day she learned she could, and simply relaxed for a moment.

As the spring birds chirped and the sun was rising in the sky, a certain female was drinking away her sorrows. She was in Peronell, the sort of "middle class" area of her beloved kingdom, Arabella. There was something about this area of the kingdom she could not explain, where perfect balance was truly found. There was no one who was dirty poor, but there was no one who was filthy rich permanently living in this area. Just normal people, with normal wages, trying to live a normal life.

Good luck with that, at least that's how Caroline saw it now. Sighing, she remembered how she served in the Royal Guard to protect the king. How he was found brutally murdered, as if the Royal Guards could not prevent his death. Sure, she was in battle with foreign empires during the time, but still, she felt as if she wasn't there to protect her ruler. Leaving a tip for the bartender, the guard walked out of the pub with her head held up high, looking around as she began to walk.

The female was wearing quite heavy armor, as she was used to it's heavy weight now. The feeling of a iron chestplate, the rattling of chainmail leggings and sleeves, it had all gotten used to her now. Looking down at her hips, she fiddled with her examined her primary weapon, a morningstar. A morningstar was basically a stick with a spiky ball on the end of it, a surprisingly efficient weapon in combat.

Checking her shield that was holstered on her back as well, the guard for hire continued to move along, brushing her chocolate covered hair out of the way. Leaning against the corner of a wall, Caroline awaited, as she began to speak out in a proud tone.

"Guard for hire! If you need a guard for protection, then you found the right lady! Sire? Interested in a guard? No? Have a nice day sire..." Caroline began to call out to random citizens, sighing when she found no interest, eventually giving up and banging her head slightly against the wooden supports of a small shop.

"Yeah...figured." the female smirked to herself, just relaxing on the corner of the shop.

"Perhaps you are wondering where my RPG Family is or some other type of signature quote. Well, hmm...here's some moivtional, go cry about it :P."

A man's greed is his downfall, but his pride is his only dignity during such a fall.

    Thomas
Thomas finished eating, licking his lips before he walked out of the castle doors, the gaurds staring straightforward, almost as if they were told to not make eye contact. The young man shrugged his shoulders as he stepped down the stone steps, sighing happily as he heard the soft chirping of the birds and the smell of the appletrees just beside of the castle. Thomas knew it was not allowed for peasants to take the apples but he was a visitor so he grabbed several, putting it into the knapsack he had with him before continuing to walk from the main castle and made his way to the market. He couldn't help but notice as there were groups of poor looking peasants, wearing torn or faded dirty clothes and they begged to the higher class people walking by. Thomas pulled a couple of the apples from his bag, handing them to a little boy and Thomas ruffled the little boys hair. "Give this to your mum." Thomas told the boy who gave a small smile. "My mother is dead." The little boy said and suddenly a large man appeared behind the boy, protective eyes glaring at Thomas and the young man stepped back.

"What do you want with my son?" The older man asked, stepping up to Thomas and he took hold of the collar of Thomas shirt. "You must be looking for a bruising." He growled and swung back his arm, winding it back before punching Thomas full force in the face.

Alistair sighed as he ran his hand through his long brown hair, blue eyes glancing up at his father disinterestedly, the old man scolding him for something. Another sigh of boredom and the young nobleman got to his feet, depositing his elegant blue coat to reveal his slender muscular for beneath the thin white shirt. "Yes I am a vampire. But that doesn't mean I'm some...monstrosity that must cower in the shadows! Hiding like a rat! The king himself is of my kind! Shall anyone rise against him?! I will not hide within the confines of this manor like a beast in a cage!" he roared passionately, storming from the great dining hall and up the broad staircase to his own quarters. The sun hadn't quite set, and he was anxious for twilight to come, granting him the freedom he so longed for.

The horse-drawn carriage rolled through the outskirts of the walled city, several manors stood on large pieces of land out here, only the richest of the rich could afford houses like these. Luckily, Jorge was a successful business man in the continent, able to set up trading routes between his kingdom, and several others.

The carriage rolled to a stop, and the passenger stepped out. It had been a while since he'd last been to the castle to discuss the trading agreements between the King of this castle, and his loyalty to his own land back home in Spain. Walking into his manor, he breathed in lungs full of fresh air, and shut the door behind him, untying the cuffs of his shirt.

Anabelle moved around the room graceful, dusting the things on the shelves, she hummed queitly to herself and every now and then patted down he worn dress, or tangled hair. She took a once over of the room as she was leaving for the next. She smiled softly at her work. Anabelle had grown up as a slave and took major pride in what she did, if things were not spotless in a room, she would not leave the room. As she walked to the next room she saw every single speck of dust and sighed to herself contently, cleaning was sort of her escape in a way, she loved it. She began dusting again and humming quietly a nursery rhyme her mother had sang to her as an infant.
"'You love me, Real or not?' 'Real.'"

    ((Timeskipping a bit))

    King Victor
As the sun came down Victor pushed open his coffin, emerging from the confined space and his eyes gazed around, surrounded by darkness but he was more then used to this. He was completely bare but slid on a pair of fine black trousers and a white loose shirt before leaving the dungeons of the castle and heading upstairs. He noticed a large spot of blood on the shirt, remembering last nights activities and he grinned as he pulled back off the shirt, bundling it up into a ball as he walked to the main floor, a slave already rushing over with a fresh shirt. Victor slid it over his bare shoulders, buttoning up the soft fabric and he ran a hand through his messy hair, his hair growing long and lifeless. "Anabelle!" Victor called, one of the house slaves who seemed to do her job well enough.

Alistair smirked as he glanced at the large grandfather clock in the sitting room. The sun had already sank in the sky, and he sighed with relief as a servant brought his cloak, preparing for his usual outting. Long brown hair pulled back into a loose ponytail, he slipped the black, gold-trimmed cloak on and tied it around him, blue eyes glancing to the young servant girl with disinterest. "See that my horse is prepared, and tell my father not to expect me until late. I go to hunt." another smirk crossed his handsome face at the glimmer of fear that echoed in the girl's eyes. "You needn't worry my dear. You will be feast for my eyes, nothing more." Alistair reassured her, his pale hand brushing her cheek flirtatiously before he dismissed her.

Donning his sword, which since his transformation had mainly become an item of decoration, he pulled on his riding gloves and ventured out of the manor into the coolness of the evening. A wild-eyed black stallion stood at the bottom of the stairs, pawing at the cobblestone anxiously as his master accepted the reins from the stablehand and mounted. This night held a twinge of excitement, more powerful than the thirst that was already building. The evening would surely produce fruitful results, he was certain.

As Cara finished her daily chores around the farm, bundling her bounty in the backs of carts and in crates, she watched eagerly as the sun went down. Many of the farmers were bedding down for the night, or at least cuddling with their wives and tucking in their children, but not Cara. She would put out the candles and bar the doors like every other person in the city, but to her, sun down was just the begining of a different kind of day. She slid the window open to her bedroom and slowly pulled off her clothes with a smile. This was her more wild sides time for fun. Going through each for slowly and as smoothly as possible, Cara's body bent, growing fur, claws and a muzzle. Popping of bone and streaching of skin and muscles pulled a deep growl from deep within her throat as she moved all the way into her full wolf form. With a small pant of pleasure and satisfaction, she streached, turned a small circle, then lept out of the bedroom window and moved into the woods bordering her farm like a shadow of the night. This was her time, and her land. She would start at a full run, but as she neared the country road that cut through the forest, she would slow to a casual walk. her nose trying to catch every scent in the air as she hunted for meat.
