This is the OOC, Looking for the IC? It can be found Here!
Our story is a simple one, it's about a group of young adults/older teens who come together to fight crime. Loosely based in the DC Universe and set in the completely original and fictional city of New Lilith, Mavericks is the current incarnation of our "Titans" Roleplays. We're looking for long lasting dedicated players only. A knowledge of the DC universe is helpful but not necessary.
Dislcaimer: Mavericks, while being set in the canon DC universe will not have canon characters as part of the story. As such, while they can be referenced to, your character will never have directly interacted with any canon character as they will have no true prescence in the story line of the roleplay. [At least not at this point.(When we work out way up to International, they'll be a little harder to ignore so we'll have to make reference to at least some sort of agreement with the Justice League at the bare minimum.)]

Important Information Regarding Setting, NPCs and Other Helpful Tidbits.
The city itself is named after the original Lilith. The first Lilith was originally a small castle town that was home to a cult of extremists somewhere in Eastern Europe. This cult was most active between the 12th and 16th century. However they were driven from their home during the crusades. The leaders of the cult were pushed into hiding for the next few centuries and eventually the current leaders stole away on a ship to the New World. They founded the settlement of New Lilith along the Eastern Coast in a valley located in the shadow of the Appalachian Mountains. This would later become part of the State of New Hampshire. As the cult became more well known amongst the natives there, the valley became known as the Valley of the Demon, specifically due to the Cult's tendency to worship the demon Lilith and bring sacrifice to her. Over time however the cult began to die out and as the population became a mix of Native, English and French, the Cult of Lilith was forgotten about and the settlement of New Lilith continued to grow.
Skip forward to current day. New Lilith is a thriving city, yet corrupted and crime ridden. The architecture of the city is primarily gothic influenced to mimic the historical aspect of the city and at one time was an attempt to bring tourists to the city. Due to the location of the city, it's prone to heavy layers of fog as well as the sun seemingly setting early. This effect is achieved due to the fact that the mountains block the sun as it passes overhead thus after the sun reaches its peak in the sky it seems to set as it fades to the west behind the mountains. This allows the fog off the sea to hang about the city much longer. Thus granting the illusion of darkness and the perfect shroud for criminals to act in. Aside from by sea or air, there is really one one main highway into New Lilith though there are several mountain roads that lead away from the city.
The city is also prone to rain as it's primary weather condition due to the high amount of humidity in the air due to the sea and fog. Sunny days are a rarity, weeks of sun even more bizarre. The city has in the past been trashed by large tidal waves, and some of the dock areas flooded. There are now measures in place to ensure this is at least mostly prevented. New Lilith's primary export at one time had been the fisheries, but this has slowed down in modern times. Now the city is funded by the sell of hydro electricity which comes from two giant dams on either end of the city. Using the ocean rivers that rush down from the mountains, the city is endlessly able to create new electricity.
Nearby cities include Salem to the west and Exeter to the North as well as many other towns and villages in Rockingham County. Due to it's location in New Hampshire, there are several States within an easy driving distance as well as the Canadian Border. The Population of New Lilith is approximately 104,856 not including the rural areas in the mountainous range around the city. The Michaels Estate is one such example of a dwelling outside of the city.
Notable Citizens of New Lilith:
Name: Timothy Simons
Occupation: Mayor of New Lillith
Background: Mayor Timothy Simons is, for all accounts, a good mayor. His main flaw comes in his recently apparent weak will. The man that used to be seen as the epitome of determination and stout resolve is now, for those in his inner circle, a spineless man almost. From an outside perspective, this seems to be the result of a man who's just tired of office. But, it's much more than that. Mayor Simons is a man who has been spread too thin. With the sudden illness of his wife, a city that has gotten out of control, a police force that's more crooked than a right turn, he's at the end of his sanity. The situation has become recently exacerbated by the black-mail thrown against him.
His rambunctious and rebellious son, Steven Simons, has become a target for New Lillith's crime syndicate world. One fateful night and one bad decision put Steven in the area of buying the New Lillith drug, Speed. Recognized by the dealer, the dealer reported his finding to his head drug lord. His boss told him to keep selling to him and act as if he didn't recognize him. Steven, in his infinite stupidity, never became more cautious about his purchases. On the contrary, in Steven's mind, it was the ultimate "Screw you!" to his father and the world his fathers position had thrown him in to. So he became a regular customer almost. Over the course of 5 months, every time Steven would meet up with the dealer to purchase, unbeknownst to Steven, there was a person in the shadows, snapping a multitude of photos for each transaction. As one can guess, over 5 months, the syndicate had built up a hefty case against Steven, and by association, the mayor himself. Presenting the photos to Mayor Timothy, their conditions, in a cryptic note, were simple: "We want free reign of New Lillith. The police force will become but an afterthought to us, and you won't step in our way. If you do, not only will those pictures be leaked, ripping you from your office and thus your source of revenue. Your son will be thrown in jail. And now that you know of your sons little "activity", you'll also be incriminated. And if worse comes to worse......well, we've always been good at making things disappear."
With a police commissioner that was already in the syndicates pocket, it wasn't hard to bring the rest of the force in to submission. That was almost a year ago. Since then, the mayor has been just a mere puppet for the syndicate. A figurehead marionette that has been dancing his little dance for the whole city to see.
Name: Victor Corrotto
Occupation: Police Commissioner of New Lillith
Background: Victor Corrotto is your typical good cop gone crooked. When he first joined the force around 35 years ago, he was your typical wet-behind-the-ears, eager, virtuous man. He knew that New Lillith, at that time, was a beautiful place, but she'd been seeing an influx of crime. He felt it was his sole duty to save the city. But, over the years on the force, he saw more and more of the despicable side of New Lillith, as she deteriorated into a cesspool of crime and corruption. In time, the only thing that spoke to him was the power of a dollar. He could be bought off to turn his cheek to almost anything. A murder, a robbery. Hell, he'd even turned his cheek to a passing slave-trade ring that had breezed through about 15 years back. As long as things wouldn't get too messy. Though some wonder how he's kept his job and even moved up the ranks, it's because he got in good with the higher-ups early on. With the knowledge and connections, he was essentially able to get away with anything. When the previous police chief died of a massive stroke brought on by a compilation of stress and dietary issues, Corrotto was a shoe-in for police chief. No other man had his years of experience, and track record of seemingly flawlessness. Once he was in power, his connections in city hall (that had helped land him the job) started to enact their influence over him, in exchange for a pretty penny of course.
Now with the mayor being bought off and his already crooked nature, the city of New Lillith seems to be in a hopeless pit both politically and in law-enforcement.
((It should be noted that with the police chief seen as the face of the police force, Corrotto knows how to hold himself and spin minor stories. With the help of Rhonda Rivington, he's gotten even better at it. He knows how to paint his officers in a good light when he needs to, and when to throw others on the chopping block.))
Name: Rhonda Rivington
Occupation: Press Secretary of New Lillith City Hall
Background: If a person was ever curious as to why the mayor hadn't been publicly slandered, his scandals found out, or a wrong-step photographed and leaked, it's because of this woman. Rhonda Rivington. A former PR agent for a major chemical corporation and then a brief tenure as assistant press secretary at the Captiol, Rhonda is not a woman not to be trifled with.
Most PR agents in the current age are actually honest people who promote good stories and try and put a positive twist on bad ones. Lying isn't their game, and they try to wipe the term "spin doctor" from existence.
Not Rhonda. She's the shining example of a PR agent who uses her resources and connections to perpetuate the stereotype that spin doctors are still the name of the game. Black-mail, bribery, various threats and scapegoating are all friendly toys in her arsenal. She's quick to make a friend, get dirt on them, and use it to her professional advantage. She's the reason that City Hall has Victor in their pocket, why anyone who tries to go against the mayor suddenly ends up with a re-surfaced criminal record. She has dirt on the state representative, each member of the city council, and anyone else she's deemed important. She even makes reporters think twice about trying to sling mud at the mayor. In fact, she has enough black-mail on the newspaper editor to make sure he's incarcerated for 20 years at least if she were to open her mouth. That way, stories that don't promote the mayor (and occasionally portray him in an innocent folly to keep the public aloof) never see the light of day and reporters that aren't cooperative suddenly find themselves without a job. In the corrupt jambalaya of New Lillith, she's the seasoning and rice that brings it all together in some aspects.
(If you're curious as to where her prowess and skill comes from. She's the daughter of none other than Fabian Rivington, the famous spin doctor that saw his way through 4 presidencies, 3 chemical plants, and even the Rockefeller corporation. Heralded as the famous "Rivington Reject" --as he could "reject" any claim against him or his clients and lodge three claims that would stick against his opponent--, he hails as the son of Jonathan Rivington, one of the first Yellow Journalists, and one of the best at that. When it comes to manipulation in the professional, a person would be hard-pressed to find a family as dangerous as the Rivingtons.)
Name: Jackson Williams
Occupation: Editor-In-Chief of the New Lillith Newspaper
Background: Not much needs to really be said about Williams. He's in the pocket of the City Hall (which makes him the mortal enemy of almost any and every true journalist out there) and he hates losing. Other than that, Jackson is an unremarkable man. Unfortunately, he's an unremarkable man who's in a position to help further the corrupt nature of the city. That, mixed with his lack of empathy for the city and his hunger for money and a comfortable living makes for a dangerous mix.
Name: Daniel Hudson
Occupation: Former Canadian Mountie, Currently a Police Lieutenant with the New Lilith Police Department Major Crimes Unit.
Background: Daniel Hudson was born on the North Side of the Border in Canada. Raised in the province of Ontario, he graduated highschool with honours and enrolled with the Canadian Mounted Police. After serving with them for five years, he moved south to New Hampshire and ended up in New Lilith. Recertifing himself to work the American Justice System, Hudson soon found a job with the police department. The NLPD has been hard for Hudson however. Out of of anywhere he has ever worked, never has Hudson seen so much corruption in the justice system. Being a virtuous man himself, he's been hard-pressed to adjust to the way things operate in New Lilith. He's stayed true to his ideals of justice and what's right, a stark contrast to Victor Corrotto. And unlike most of the other cops, he isn't swayed by a pretty penny flashed in his face when crime is concerned. Because of this, essentially he's a loner on the job, often going on patrol by himself. None of the officers have any desire to work with a man who can't adjust to the way things operate in New Lilith. Hudson has also been beat several times by his fellow officers ,because in their eyes, he thinks he's too good to keep his nose down and follow the herd. Though each time they were masked and he can't prove anything to the higher-ups. Though it wouldn't matter even if he could. To the higher ups who've taken notice of him, he's just a dog of the force that has been properly trained yet. Hudson is no idealistic fool though. He makes sure he's always on time, never misses a briefing, dots his i's, crosses his t's, and is never caught in a bad bust or cop slip-up that would catch the eye of the public and his superiors. In this burlesque show where corruption and deception are the head-liners, he's learned to stay inside the lines and still do his job. He's developed more balance than a tight-rope walker.
Hudson is one of the few officers excited about the emerging trend of vigilantes. While some of them are no better than armed thugs making a name, the heroes like Angel and the new IllAdvised could make a difference, and like all good cops, he's got a gut feeling that there are more to come he just knows it. It's because of this that he still comes to work with a positive aura. Despite being alone in his precinct, Hudson continues to fight to uphold justice in hopes that someday soon, he will be a majority in the city's police force. He's not hoping for an overthrow or a violent storming purge, just a change so that lady Justice can shine in the city of New Lilith again.
Hudson is very well trained in close quarter combat as well as long range arms. He spent a year in a SWAT unit in Canada, and thus is also a survivalist from being thrown into the wilderness as part of his training. Despite all this, Hudson doesn't reach for his gun first thing and instead tries to talk things out. Even then, he would prefer the use of his nightrod over the gun which hangs from his belt. For this reason, despite being hated by his own comrades, Hudson is a hero cop to the public whether the press likes it or not. For the press, even though people like Jackson Williams --with his ties to the superiors in the precinct--hate the "uppity good boy" vibe they get from Hudson, the public isn't full of idiots. They know that somehow Hudson stands out from the rest, and in a good way, and it sheds a good light on the precinct, keeping things in a precarious balance that would be broken if something were to happen to Hudson. The innocent bystander loves Hudson, so he remains safe in his position at the force. For now at least.
Name: Roman Locke
Occupation: Major Crime Boss, Leader of the Locke Mafia, controls many minor Mobs and Gangs to enforce his streets.
Background: Roman Locke came to New Lilith about twenty five years ago. Originally from Gotham, the former petty criminal couldn't get any breaks under the city watched by the Bat. Aside from the Dark Knight the city was already spoken for by another gang that had been there for close to 50 years, New Lilith, however, was going through a power vacuum. With the near eradication of gangs in the city due to a stalemate of the former gangs that was broken by a series of territory wars that escalated out of hand, it was fresh apple of a city, ripe for the picking. Using his connections and bringing in a group of Russian ex-military men and mercenaries alike who held a bond of loyalty to him, Locke was quickly able to sieze land and resources from some of the remnants of the gangs, while recruiting other small and aspiring gangs into his mob. With his force in place, Locke started to mobilize. He was no fool and did his homework. He saw that the flaw in the previous gangs was that there had been too many of them with clearly equal power that could have been shifted with the seizing of just one territory. He knew that to prevent that from happening again, one gang that specialized in more than one area of.....debauchery, thievery, and criminal activity was needed. He knew that he was the man to do that. His plan was simple: create a main ring with him as the head, and clearly defined leaders of branching rings specializing in all the areas that he needed that reported directly to him. These leaders had to be men completely loyal to him (his Russian ex-military). The rest had to be trained to follow orders, that's where the mercenaries and the rest came in. From them, new recruits would learn ordered and professional respect, not that shotty "family" respect that the previous gangs had tried to instill. No this was a business, not a family picnic. He grew his little gang "baby" quickly, the power vacuum accelerating everything he did and within two years, Locke was the reigning crime lord in New Lilith.
Now he has athriving underworld empire, nothing happens in New Lilith without his approval, with his professional background and wits he was able to use his eyes and ears around the city to quickly grab hold of the head honchos in government, and nothing is said without him hearing it. Locke gets what he wants, with no exceptions.
Another thing that makes Locke so dangerous is his ability to adapt. He has a clear and concise notion of who he and his empire are. He's able to expand and contract, while still keeping the structural stability of his underworld empire. His ability to adapt allows him to stay ahead of the curve, and extend his underworld tendrils in to everything he wants to, even pharmaceuticals. He's always looking for ways to keep the smaller gangs in place, and isn't stubborn to where he won't change his tactics if necessary.
An engineered drug using the addictive factors of Speed and Cocaine, but mixed with a chemical compound of Kryptonian DNA bonded with Martian and Tameranean. Creates a high in the user along with temporary metahuman abilities. Continiual use has a chance of destabilizing one's DNA.

The Locke Mafia:
The Locke Mafia is made up of the Praetorian Mob and four minor gangs. Locke himself rests at the top, residing in a mountain estate to the North of the city. The Praetorians report directly to Locke's elite security team at his estate. If a job needs a personal touch, Locke will dispatch members of his team to handle the job. Only in matters of personal interest or revenge will Locke himself dirty his hands. Locke has most of the city under his thumb, despite still fighting with other gangs in the East and South of the city. Until the rising vigilante moment, Locke had the entire city locked in fear. However recently that hold has begun to loosen.
The Praetorian Mob is the Locke Mafia's primary enforcers. If Locke wants something handled delicately without a personal touch, he calls in the Praetorians. The Praetorian Mob is made up of mostly ex-militia and are very efficient at what they do. They have access to every resource of each gang as well as a large supply of weapons. Without the Praetorians, Locke would surely lose hold on the city. The Praetorains keep Locke's chosen gangs in order and making sure that the rival mob and its gangs don't lose any ground. As such each gang reports to the Praetorians who then relay it to Locke through his elite team. The Praetorian headquarters is the upper offices of a large Casino and Hotel on the West End of New Lilith. A very ritzy place, far too expensive for commoners, the Collosus Casino entices only the wealthiest of New Lilith.
The Blood Hounds:
The lowest of all the gangs the Locke Mafia employs. The Blood Hounds handle prostitution and trafficking of sex trade workers. They also work extortion jobs for the Locke Mafia, especially when it involves abductions and kidnapping. The Blood Hounds run most of the Strip Joints in the South End Narrows. Most walk around armed, generally with various knives, brass knuckles and low end hand guns. The Blood Hounds wear a burgandy armband with a dog face on it. Some however will don it around their upper thigh or wear a burgandy bandanna.
The Dire Wolves:
Only slightly better than the Blood Hounds, The Dire Wolves deal in drugs and their trafficking. Operating throughout the city with a special concentration in the west end. In addition to this, the Wolves generally are cons and thieves and often hire to plant evidence or black mail Locke's targets or opposition. The Dire Wolves wear bullet proof vests and are easily recognized by the fur collars on their leather jackets. Aside from the jackets a silver wolf head belt buckle is also a common marker. Most carry hand guns with some carry shotguns or semi automatic rifles. You can also count on a knife as back up if disarmed.
The Centurians are thugs and hired muscle. If someone needs to be harassed or bullied, the Centurians are brought in. On top of this, the Centurians are well known for committing grand theft auto and carjacking. They run garages all over the city and street race for fun. As such they often supe up cars and modify them. Know for a gold and red badge on their shoulder as well as being generally bigger guys. The Centurians are feared by most citizens in New Lilith. Though the Harbour Kings have engaged in an on going war with them. Centurians used a variety of weaponry, most of which is far from subtle. They are also one of the few gangs that use vehicles in all out shoot outs. This is likely due to their side business of modifying cars.
The Gladiators are Locke's hired hitmen. If he needs some dead, really dead these are the guys he brings in. Gladiators come from various backgrounds, but all can be contacted from within the Colosus Casino. Unlike other gangs, the Gladiators do not have some distinct marking that ties them together, prefering to be more anonymous. Aside from being assassins, the Gladiators also deal weapons, and in turn partially manufactor them as well as illegally modify them. As such they are a very profitable investment for Locke since not only do they add to the lining in his pockets but they allow the mafia leader to speak even softly thanks to his unlimited supplies of big sticks.
The Harbour Kings:
-Run the Harbour
-Largest gang outside the Locke Mafia
-Headquarters is a large Yacht
-Pirates by trade, black market smugglers putting them in competition with a lot of the Locke Mafia.
-Operates obviously in the Harbour on the Eastern side of the city. Also controls part of the water ways.
-Modeled after Joker
-Started out as a group of misfits in Highschool that became too popular
-Hangs around the downtown.
-Gimmicky home made weapons.
-Disorganized chaos that makes the gang unpredictable allowing it to survive.
-Experiments with augmentation.
-Smallest gang, but they have massive fire power.
-Very strategic, guerrilla unit like tactics of hit and run.

I'll keep tinkering with Adam's new bio in the mean time.
Name: Makarios "Maki" Acayo Lillis
Height: 5' 11"
Weight: 1175 lbs
Build: Muscular and slightly slender.
Appearance: [Eh, I can't make a micro of him, they all turn out really shitty!]
Powers/Abilities: Animal Mimicry- Makarios is blessed with the ability to call and adopt the abilities and some of the characteristics of any animal in the animal kingdom. When asked, he's hard-pressed to explain how it works. The totem that he wears (the source of his power), seems to house every animal in the kingdom, and it has a mental connection to him. At his "call", the totem "releases" the animal he chooses, and it's as if the aura of the purest form of the animal he "Calls" wraps around him, granting him the characteristics of that animal. He doesn't get noticeably bigger or smaller when this happens, but don't let that fool you.
((Right now, he can only deduce that some type of magic may be involved in his powers.))
At this point, he can't call on larger animals for too long. Small characteristics like a dog's hearing/smell/taste or something like that he can do with ease. But calling on a rhinos charging power can damn near kill him at this point by itself. He's discovered though that small characteristics of him do change when he switches animals, most of them, if he wants them to. If he calls on a tiger, his nails do extend slightly, but not becoming sharp, but probably just as a "side effect."
Increased Durability/Stamina/Healing Factor
Increased Dexterity and Kinesthesis
Near Perfect Balance
Skills: -In a fight, Makarios has an eye for detail. He can hone in on an opponent and focus on any faults they have that they let show.
-Almost as if a byproduct of the amulet, he is a natural fighter. Though at this point it isn't honed, he has a more animalistic fighting style. Also very flexible and acrobatic, though it comes with the territory.
-Outside of battle, Makarios loves to bake. He creates some of the most insane creations and sweets. It's like a cathartic release from the fighting.
-He also loves interior design. When he walks in to a room, his eyes are automatically darting around a room, trying to deduce the theme, and how he can make it better.
-Information comes quickly to Makarios. He jokes that it's a byproduct of his powers, and he just absorbs information. Languages are a child's play to him (due to his "Snakes Tongue").
-He's unable to outright talk to animals, but he's extremely empathetic towards them.
-Professionally, Makarios is an easy talker. Able to convince even the most stubborn of people to see things his way.
Equipment: N/A at this point
Personality: Makarios is a complex individual. In the professional world, he's extremely personable (he has to be, if he's aspiring to be a PR Rep). But outside of that he's a bit more closed off. It's still very simple for him to make friends with others, but he's careful not to let them too far in.
He's quick to form of opinions of people and usually goes with his gut. But, he's the first to admit that his first impression of people can be wrong.
He's also a very maternal person and very family-oriented (probably due to his lack of one growing up and his amulet). Once he trusts someone -- and he's generally not a trusting person,-- he's extremely loyal and will do anything in his power to protect. But, he's also the first person to call them out on their stupidity.
Quiet until the situation absolutely calls for otherwise, he doesn't give his opinion unless asked, or unless he feels he absolutely has to.
One thing that drives him up the wall is ignorance. He can't stand it, and will/has started a fight over blatant ignorance. He's also irritated by loud and brash people. He's not one to hide his feelings towards someone, though he's always cordial. Honesty is the policy he operates by.
History: Makarios grew up in your typical bad home. In a city like New Lilith, that wasn't an uncommon story. The bastard son of Lysandra Lillis, his step-father always made a point to let him know that he was a bastard and no blood of his. His mother was a sickly woman, though the times when she was able to smile, she could light up the entire city.
The time Makarios was able to spend with her were the best moments of his life. He never really knew much about his biological father, but the times she would talk about him, her face would seem to lose 20 years, and she would beam the entire story. The stories never really made sense to Makarios, because she would leave a lot out, or say "Hmm....I don't think that's appropriate for your ears."
One week before she died, she gave Makarios an amulet. She told him it was made from an animals bone. He asked her what animal it was made from and why should he have it. She looked at him and said "It was your fathers, and his father's before him. It's made from all the animals in the world, Maki. And it will serve as a ward from harm as long as you do what's right." It was at that time that his step-father stormed in to the room, drink in hand, yelling that Makarios was causing his mother pain. In a hurry, he left, clutching the amulet in his hand, so his step-father wouldn't see.
His mother died when he was 14, and it wasn't soon after that that his step-father picked up the abusive tendencies he had relinquished when his mother had fallen ill, and this time with a vengeance. One of the worst instances was when he broke two of Makarios' fingers for spilling his beer. It wasn't soon after that that Makarios made up his mind to leave. The only reason he had stayed was because of his mom, and now that she was gone, he couldn't stand to look at his dead beat step-father. His step-father and his dying mother's wish for him to live a good life are what made him strive to live a good life. He dedicated his time to school and his grades shot up, skipping a grade and taking Advanced level classes and college level classes by his junior year. Finally, he built up the courage one night to start walking out the door. His step-father came out of the kitchen, vodka in hand, screaming at him, asking what he was doing. Makarios was honest with him, he told him he was leaving. That only seemed to enrage his step-father who charged at him, grabbing Makarios by the shirt and flinging him away from the door.
Crashing in to lamp stand, Makarios heard a ringing in his head, and then something else......a growl. Disregarding it, Makarios shook his head and charged forward, thinking that he was going to tear his son-of-a-bitch step-father down like a lion. At that moment, he could've sworn that he felt the amulet he was wearing pulse. Getting up, he charged forward, attempting to yell. What left his mouth though was a Lion's roar. He charged at his step-father, sending him flying in to the wall. With another jab, the old man was down for the count. Standing over his unconscious step-father, Makarios felt the strength leave him, and he slouched for a moment, wondering what had over come him. But he didn't have time to think about it, as his step-father was already stirring.
Darting out of the house, Makarios headed for the only adult in the world he trusted: his English teacher.
That was five years ago. Now Makarios is certain of what happened that night. He knows the powers of his amulet. But, he chooses not to delve in to his powers, preferring to just lead a normal life. Becoming the most successful PR Agent since Edward Bernay's.
Or at least, those were his plans. Until one fateful night.

SpoilerName: Ta'l Norl / Thomas Edwin Campbell
Build: Muscular, well trained, it shows that he have spent most of his life on the farm, working.
He have Wings with the wingspan of 4 meters.
He hides them under his clothes, by putting them extremely close to his body, following his body shape, only showing as small bumps outside of by his shoulders, nothing anyone would pay any bigger attention to.
He usually sports brown working boots, flannels and blue jeans with a brown leather belt in them. Or a black tank-top on top of his jeans and converses. Occasionally, he is seen wearing a black cowboy-hat or aviators, it's rare as the weather in New-Lilith isn't exactly his natural setting. He owns a dark-brown leather jacket he have been given by his adoptive father before his passing.
Nice and polite is how Thomas was raised, his parents believing in the values that everyone is equals, all humans are still humans, despite their race or origin, this have made Thomas very open minded. He's headstrong and takes any offence to his friends or family personal, he protects those weaker than himself, always looking after the small people in the world. He's fairly intelligent, for a High-school Senior. He have a somewhat ' It's not fair'-complex over his situation, as he knows that he could easily beat anyone in sports, but he have never been able to participated in any form of sports, because of his wings. However, he's not bitter over his wings, he does not view them as a curse, but rather as a gift, as if he would, in fact be an Angel.
He have a southern Accent. He is tolerant to people. The only kind of people that really makes him tick is rich people who thinks they're better than the less wealthy simply because they have more money.
He enjoys the simple things in life, spending time with people he like.he's thankful for having roof over his head and food on his table. He likes Country and Classical Rock. He is trying to make sure to go to church on every Sunday, just like he was raised. He do believe that people who are willingly to hurt others to get what they want are bad people, and deserves to be punished.
This is a characteristic that is very amplified once he spreads his wings. He strikes with swift vengeance, never to throw the first stone, but punch the guy who threw the stone in the face.
He is, as much as he possible could act the role of an Angel, the proud warriors of the heavens.
Super Strength: He have superior strength to humans, being able to lift 840 Lbs by now.
Super Stamina: He have enhanced stamina and endurance, not at the same level as his strength, his stamina is only about twice that of a humans with his muscle-mass.

Flight: Thanks to his Wings with their over 4 meters wingspan, he can take great distances over the sky, he can travel at 190 Km/H when he pushes himself, his maximal dive speed is twice of that. His wings are harder than metal, and each time they get damaged, they regenerates, stronger than before.
Weapons skills: He knows how to use mostly anything that can be likened to a mace or a sword as a weapons, iron pipes or nitesticks are the most common weapon for him.
He knows how to hammer out a Drum-set, and he's a decent Bass guitar player.
He knows his way around a engine, be it a car, a motorcycle or a tractor.
He have a naturally built in martial arts, similar to something the army might use, upon his own further research, he have found out that his natural combat style is very much alike Kaw Magra.
In outer space, light years from earth, outside of our solar system. A Thanagarian transporter was attacked. Inside the ship a woman was in labour. La'l Norl, wife of Hectair, one of the 5 generals of the Thanagarian fleet. Hectair being the race's most potent warrior for generations, his family being the very elite of the thanagarian race. Anyway, their transporter was getting attacked by an unknown enemy,A couple of hours after La'l have given birth to her child, Hectair and La'l sent their only son Ta'l to the planet with humanoid creatures, Earth. Thomas's trip was long, 3 months. Landing on earth late-summer, in Nolan county, Texas . Bruce and Lucy Campbell found him, two working class heroes, really. His father being a community server, former cop now turned farmer. His mother was a loveable cafe owner.
He grew up on the farm, it wasn't till he were 12 years old, he began growing something that would become wings. His wings grew big in the next couple of years, his parents helped him with dealing with his strange gift, even referring to him as a Angel, as he fell from the sky as a child and now have wings. He wasn't able to fly in the beginning, and he himself was more than a little displeased with his wings, his other powers was appreciated, he was a great help to his aging father on the farm. His father died when Thomas was 16 years old, from a heart attack. His father died in his arms, Thomas being unable to help him. Thomas had powers, great powers even. He promised himself to never feel so useless again, that he would always find a way to help people.
He left Nolan the next year. Quitting school for the time , setting his sights on New Lilith. A city crying for help. The mild-mannered country boy was now up in the northern regions of the land, seeking to help as many as he could. He became Angel. Thomas is working in as a car mechanic at the local car-shop. The owner is his uncle, so he knows about Thomas's condition, few do actually. His mother has sold the farm and moved to Austin just months after Thomas left home, sending Thomas money every month, this allows him to live in a small apartment in the okay-districts of New Lilith.
He have been active as a crime fighter for the last 6 months, gaining some rep as the " Winged Man." Or as "Angel." None of the big-guns in the mob have even paid much attention to him, the police force is however more hostile towards him. He have gotten little media-knowledge. Save for his bust of a drug-ring in a aparatment building that he took down himself, where the photographer got a shady-picture of him with his wings outstretched, holding a criminal out of a window.
Equipment BaseBall Bat, he prefers to use what he can find as a weapon. He have a metal piece attached to his sleeve on his jacket, to protect from slice-weapons. He wears a Kevlar Vest under his jacket while in costume.. He carries his mobile phone, car-keys and Wallet when out of costume.
