Kaito sighed softly to himself as he prepared to head off towards his best friend's house. He'd always been able to come over. Just whenever. They went back towards longer than he could even remember, honestly. Slipping on his trademark red pants,and black jacket, he decided to wear a white tank top underneath the jacket, and held the red pendant in his fist gently before letting it go. Setting out after sporting a pair of white vans, he headed out the door. He didn't live very far from him. He could walk there in give or take, 10-20 minutes. Soon enough he ended up at the doorstep, and knocked, waiting for him to answer. When he did, he grinned towards him. "Hey man, did you forget I was supposed to come over tonight? You look surprised to see me." He joked.

As he awaited for his best friend to arrive, Kiru laid comfortably on his couch as he surfed the internet on his computer. Outwardly, the young man had the expression of a brick and quietly gazed at the screen, but appearances were deceiving. His mind screamed over the turmoil over the fanfiction he was reading, for his otp was no more; his ship sinking into the depths of the ocean. His heart beating as he wrote on his blog about all of the emotions he was feeling, Kiru heard the door knock.

Oh, had Kaito arrived already? Damn, now he needed to save his post to his drafts...

Kiru sighed, for a split second wishing his older sister hadn't introduced to the magic of the Internet, and closed his laptop. He left it on the couch as he walked to the door, opening it and seeing his best friend. "Yeah bro, you're two hours early! I bet you just couldn't wait to see me."he chuckled, grabbing his keys off the counter near the door. "I haven't gone to get food yet, come on, lets go into town and get some pizza first or something."

His parents were out of town and his sister didn't live them anymore, and Kiru didn't like to cook, so for the past few days he took the car into town to and ate fast food or raided Kaito's fridge. "That cool with you, Kai?"he asked.

Seeing his friend open the door, Kaito grinned towards him. "Two hours early? Really? Huh. Must have forgot to set my clocks about Daylight Savings Time, again. I hate that thing." He rolled his eyes. "Or, maybe I did seriously want to see you. Not like you didn't want to see me, either." He teased, with a grin. As Kiru grabbed the keys, he shrugged. "Yeah, sure. I haven't eaten anyway. I'm still saying you should really pick up on cooking, man. Total chick magnet." He teased, easing into the passenger seat and buckling up. "Unless..You're not trying to attract chicks anymore?"

Kaito loved teasing Kiru about his sexual preference. It was one of the many things that could really get under his skin. Few things ever did, and that's what liked about Kiru. "Heh, I see you're wearing the necklace I got ya." He noticed, and smirked. "Thought you said you hated that thing, eh?" He raised an eyebrow and cast a glance towards some girls as they pulled up to the pizza parlor. "Can we eat it here? Unless you want the privacy at home?" He stated, loud enough for the girls to giggle over. He snickered. Seeing the look on Kiru's face, he grinned devilishly. "Aw, c'mon. You act like you don't like the attention from me." He joked, as they went inside. Checking out the menu, he grinned. "Sausage, bell peppers, black olives, and light onions for a large pizza with stuffed crust, please." The woman wrote it down, and looked to Kiru for his placement.

Kiru gave his friend a puzzled look and his eyebrows raised ever so slightly. "I don't want attract chicks, I want to attract women? Birds can be cool, but I'm not into beastiality."he replied with a smile. "But...if you're like into dating birds, man, I heard there's this dating sim where you can date pigeons called Hatoful Boyfri-oh wait is it even called beastiality if they're birds? Because birds are not beasts, Kaito?"

Kiru often responded with strange replies if he did not react with irritation towards Kaito's teasing. He realized at that very moment he revealed to his best friend that he was aware of the existence of a pigeon dating sim and hoped Kaito he wouldn't think he played it, even though he did, and liked it and attempted to change the subject. To his relief, Kaito just commented on his necklace, but that relief quickly subsided at his friend's remark.

Kiru gave him a sarcastic laugh, which he often did when he tried to hide annoyance. "Well we're going out to eat together so we have to match, bro."he said unenthusiastically, unlocking the doors and stepping out of the parked car.

Kaito didn't cease his relentless teasing when they got into the pizza parlor, in fact, the presence of girls encouraged Kaito even more! Kiru sighed, mentally telling himself not to take the jokes so seriously all the time, and tried his best to not offend his friend. "Aha, well I don't see why I would need to have privacy to eat pizza, Kaito."he said, focused on the menu in front of him. As usual, his bro ordered some complicated pizza with all the toppings Kiru had never been fond of. Kiru didn't see anything he wanted to try and wasn't really planning to, either. Not wanting to keep her waiting, he gave a polite smile to the lady as he asked, "May I just have a pepperoni pizza, please?"

As the woman took down their order, Kiru remembered that he left his wallet in the car!

"I forgot my wallet in the car, I'll be right back Kai."he said, walking out the door. Man I hope he doesn't go up to those girls and starts to make up stuff like always. I think last time he said that we were a couple and that I liked it when he...wait what was that he said? Ah whatever... he thought to himself, flustered and embarrassed over what concoction Kaito could possibly fabricate this time. Not wanting to give him enough time to talk to those girls or people in general, Kiru quickly searched the car for his wallet.

"Ah, here it is..."he whispered as he retrieved the item. As he closed and locked the door, Kiru got a sudden, strange feeling and frowned. Weird... he thought, heading back towards the parlor. Maybe we should just ask for it to go...? There have been reports of murders lately...eh, I'm just worrying too much. Why would a murderer...murder two random kids coming out of a pizza parlor?

Back inside, he quickly dismissed his worries and returned to where Kaito was. "Man, good thing I didn't leave this at home or anything, I'd be so disappointed."he said with a slight smile.

Matching? What did their necklaces have to do with matching? And did he say something about a pidgeon dating sim? He might have misheard him or something. Probably did. Who knows. He was much more focused on his appetite than about birds at the moment. While he ordered his pizza, he bet Kiru was going to order something plain and boring - to which he did once he gave the woman behind the counter an apologetic smile and ordered pepperoni. Yawnsville. The woman rung the total up, to which his best friend went outside, saying he left his wallet in the car. Patting is back pocket he grinned. "This is why I always keep me on me attatched by a chain." He grinned, the woman giggling. Soon enough, Kiru was back and handed the money towards the woman, who gave him his change. "Thank you, your ticket number will be called when your pizzas are ready." Kaito grinned and walked over to a booth. "Yeah, I would have had to punush you later at home about that if I had to play." he teased. "Should we give the girls a show, Kiru?" He challenged with a smirk. "Or are you feeling all kinds of bashful again?"

"Punish me? Haha, take that grin off your face Kai- wait a show no way!"he retaliated quickly, panicking at the things Kaito could say to embarrass him in front of everyone in the building even more.

He pouted as sat across from Kaito in the booth, crossing his arms. "Why do you always have so much fun teasing me like this?"he whined, definitely feeling bashful like Kaito suggested. But since he'd probably continue teasing him anyways, Kiru figured it would probably be better just to go along with it.

"Ugh I just want to eat pizza, bro!"he chuckled, uncrossing his arms and giving his friend a smile. "But...ahaha fine, I'll play along while we wait."

A laugh escaped Kaito's throat, as his friend suddenly got embarassed, swearing he saw his cheeks tinge slightly, but he doubted it. Why did he tease little Kiru? Hmmm.. He leaned forward, invading his personal space and smirked, his blue eyes staring into his gray ones. "Maybe its because I like embarassing you. Or, maybe it's because I think you're cute when you get all flustered." He said seriously, before leaning back with a grin. "I'd like to eat plenty of things I can't have at the moment." This was going to be the most interesting wait for pizza, yet.

With Kaito's proximity being slightly closer than usual, Kiru sincerely hoped that his face wasn't red. "C-cute?"he repeated, pretty much all he could muster as a response. The level of acting that Kaito was displaying, however, really impressed Kiru. How was his friend able to say those words so naturally without panicking, like he was?

As soon as Kaito reclined back and made some comment about eating, Kiru sighed and stared at the table. He stayed silent for a moment, pondering about what to say next until his lips curved into a faint smile. Kiru glanced away from the table, eyed Kaito's familiar grin, and then looked into his eyes.

"Well then if you can't eat then just...use your mouth for other things, Kaito..."

He was for sure that he had his friend sunk, and silently striked up his victory. He caught the slight tinge in his cheeks, and grinned even wider. He relaxed though, seeing Kiru stare at the table, and he caught him looking at him, and was about to question the rather daring lookin his eyes, before his words caught him by surprise. Kiru wasn't normally one to edge on the game, and he swore his cheeks took on a little bit of head, earning them some giggle points and squeals from the ladies in the pizza parlor. "For..For other things?" Kaito stammered softly, and cleared his throat. "You mean...?" He started, and stood up as their number was called, raising his hand, and blocking the view of Kiru from onlookers with his body, and tilted his chin up slightly to look into his eyes. "You mean like using it to kiss those lips of yours, Kiru? Don't tempt me." He chuckled, nearing him, their lips brushing ever slightly, before he moved back and stuck his hands into his pockets, going to retrieve their pizzas. Once he had gotten them, he walked back, placing their respective pizzas near each other, and grinned. "You want to drink something, Kiru?" He asked, with a rather pleased grin on his face.

But Kaito just chuckled and left Kiru sitting down, flustered in his seat, as he went to retrieve the pizza. Wow, okay playing along was a bad idea. he thought, sighing and leaning back against the chair.

Kaito had his usual grin on his face when he returned with their pizzas and Kiru was glad that the silly game was over. "Thanks man. And yeah, but I'll get them for us. What do you want?"he offered, standing up and awaiting his answer.
