OOC
Hollywood Style:
"You will be playing already deceased humans that were brought back to life to do a certain jobs. In the aftermath of your death you will have to deal with cutting all of your wordily connections and dealing with life as a James/Jane Doe. You are forced to work so you will continue to live off of borrowed time. You will find out that your superiors can wield powers beyond the laws of nature by using their excess life energy, something you will do too. As the plot progresses and the stakes get higher, will you retain your loyalty or break away and become a rogue agent? All is up to you as all hell breaks loose in Washington DC, culminating in some serious consequences to your actions."
.
Hello Ladies and Gentlemen. In this here RP we will be playing as ordinary men, women and teens who had unfortunately found their demise. Your death could have been an accident or caused by a violet occurrence, though I shall not accept suicides.
You will be contracted by a mysterious man and employed from your base, a measly three room apartment at the edge of the city. Most of your possessions will not return to you as you may not reveal your miraculous return from the dead, which means that your money and most modes of transport will be taken by your apparent heirs.
You are given five hours to sort out your business and say your goodbyes. Remember to do whatever you please within reason and one important rule - Do not tell anyone you came back from the dead. Say you will be going on a trip or you are leaving soon, or perhaps spend your last few hours as a free man in a cinema or basketball court. You are revived at late in the after-noon, precisely six o'clock.
In this RP you will deal with your baggage from your earlier life while interacting with your mysterious superiors and other co-workers like yourself. You are to be given jobs that will pay you in hours and days which you then can use to continue living in your body. Remember - Time is money, and unless you're working you won't get to live longer.
As time progresses you will gain certain powers that draw from your excess life energy and allow you to harness the supernatural in tasks you couldn't complete otherwise.

Washington D.C., USA, 2012.
They will tell you your demise was for the best, but you know better.
A voice offers you your life back in exchange for your servitude. You grudgingly accept and escape your cold, dark and silent prison. The words of an elderly man, scarred from the abuse of tobacco tells you to meet him in five hours at the designated time written in a note on your person. Before he leaves you fully wake up and open your eyes to discover your body, probably already moved from the site of your death, possessing a beating heart and a clear mind. You see that back of the man that saved and enslaved you indefinitely - Wearing a suede grey blazer and black trousers, coupled with black leather shoes and a slick dark fedora hat. Smoke trails from his mouth and follows the air, only to be shaken as the man throws the cigarette on the floor and walks away. He only says one sentence that sets back all of the things you were planning to do -
"Dead Men tell no Tales".

Poor Mr. SnippyThe Shortest Horror Story:
"The last man on earth sat alone in a room. There was a knock on the door."-Fredric Brown.
The OOC is up, players.
I'm pretty sure this was a film. I can't remember it's name though..
Oh, I found it.

EDIT : Wrong link. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uypYOAJZblA
Seems like a mix of that movie and In Time http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=efNzhEKm3w4
It looks similar, but I assure you it doesn't provide high speed chases or assassinating government officials.
*clears throat*
That's of course if we get enough players to run this one properly.

Oh I saw In Time a while ago, it had a very nice concept behind it but the execution could have been much better.
No worries, I won't be standing around with a clock on my hand. The reason for the time is to give your characters a logical reason why you won't Run away or not do your job. But, of course, there are also rogue elements in DC... You might even become one of them.
I have the plot set up for at least five new chapters. It will begin in short fetch quests where you will be introduced to the powers at play and continue to evolve through sorting out British and Russian gangsters fighting over territory in the outskirts of the city.
I'm just going to leave this here. This is high-Casual, I do expect you to be awesome.
