So if you have seen the anime/read the manga/novels you should know what it is about. If you haven't then it is in the future where people have a mechanism on their neck which is kind of like a computer. There is a program called Brain Burst which only young people (teens) can use. The program allows the user to slow down time or have fights in which they have an avatar with a name (theme of the names are 'colour-noun', e.g. Haru's avatar name is Silver Crow and Kuroyukihime's is Black Lotus). They have a certain amount of 'burst points' (start off with 100) and every time they use brain burst it uses one of these points. When they win a fight they gain 10 points and when they loose a fight they loose 10 points. To level up you have to pay 300 points.

I hope that was all understandable (I'm not so good at explaining things ), please point out anything I missed.

I would like to have a co-gm in this as I myself am not a very good gm....

I'd like it to be so that there is enough people to make up a team of around 5 (so 4, 5, or 6)

Just to clarify, but you need 300 points to level up to Level 2. Level 3 requires more, likely 400-500, and it continues onwards. You gain more than 10 points if you defeat someone of a higher level than you, but you also lose more if a lower Level defeats you.

Brain Burst is a program that accelerates your thought processes to 1000X and uses your neurolinker (computer that jacks into your brain and creates holographic interface), along with security cameras and such nearby (there's a lot of those in the future), to reconstruct a digital world around you. It's also a fighting game, in which you fight for more points and such. If your Burst Points go to zero, the program automatically deletes itself and you will be unable to download it ever again.

From my understanding, the color of your avatar also plays a role in the stats of your avatar. Combat works with a timer and two bars, one for HP and one for 'mana'. As you take more damage, your 'mana' bar fills up, and you get the ability to use more and more powerful special attacks. Oh, there are no flying avatars, because for whatever reason, Haruyuki is special. Most avatars just have a weapon, such as swords, motorcycles, or piledrivers.

On the night of downloading Brain Burst, which you can only get from someone who already possesses the program, you apparently get to go through a dream sequence that asks for what you wish for, and that plays a massive role in the avatar you get.

It's also really dangerous to reveal your real life identity in Brain Burst, because the ability to put 16 minutes of thought into one second is the type of ability that can get you god-like grades, win national-level tournaments, or (theoretically) dodge sniper fire. So people won't generally be pleased with you if you make them lose all their Burst Points. They'll probably exact revenge in real life, especially if their whole life was built around this 'power'.
