Lol, I can't beat one of the regular compeditors. He runs a delver of secrets deck, and I have never come close to beating it.

Connor was born to the Fletchers, a wealthy family that ruled over the town he lived in. He was raised in the castle by his nanny's that would make sure to do everything right to him, as they feared what his parents might do if they failed to please Connor. Connor had to put up with two siblings, one was older than him the and the other was younger than he was.

Connor was told by his parents at a young age, that his older brother would take care of him so he decided to go on "adventures" with him. They explored the secret passages in the castle, but one day Connor got stuck in a small space as his foot got caught in a hole. The older brother left him, trying to find help as Connor waited and waited. Then when he began to try to pull himself out his shadow was helping him out. His parents didn't know how he got out, but Connor began to utilize this skill more often.

His brother was known to train with swords, as he invited Connor to join him. Connor remembered from before that his brother had always beat him, but Connor practiced with the shadows late at night and knew he could beat him. When his brother knocked him down and placed his sword to Connor's neck, Connor used the shadow to knock the sword out of the ground and used his brother's sword to knock him down.

His parents heard of the incident and had him examined by the local priest, as the priest said he had never heard of such a thing and recommended that they watch Connor more frequently. Connor went out hunting several times a week, as he would use the shadows to sometimes aid him when he was in need and his brother wouldn't say anything. Then when a group of bandits attacked them, Connor used the shadows around him to create a chain effect, grappling each person and flinging them outward. After his parents heard, they decided to station guards by his side every hour. At one point Connor couldn't take it anymore, since his privacy had been violated and he couldn't even go to the secret passages alone. So he left, seeking to learn the powers that he was considered dangerous for as well as other skills that may aid him in the future.

Appearance: Brown Eyes, white skin, 5'10, Short black hair, medium muscle tone, wears somewhat casual clothes: white hooded cloak, jeans, grey long sleeved shirt, white gloves, and grey sneakers. His cloak has the insignia of his family, appearing to be a white phoenix.

Name: Hiroshi ('Hoshi') Soyokaze
Race: Human

Bio:
Hiroshi Soyokaze was born in a very poor family of farmers. The family already consisted of a father, a mother, and four kids, and another child meant another mouth to feed. That’s why his parents decided to lay him on the porch of an orphanage, wrapped up in a blanket.
When the people that worked there found him and wrapped him out of his blanket they noticed two things. They noticed that there was a piece of paper with the blanket that read: “Name: Hiroshi Soyokaze. Please take good care of him.”, and they noticed that the little boy was wearing a necklace with a star-pendant, which he still wears today, although now he wears it as a bracelet.

Hiroshi was raised in the orphanage and everything went fine there. However, at school he was very shy and the other children didn’t play and talk with him very much.
His grades were okay, but not amazingly good. One of the things he did stood out in, was drawing. He especially likes drawing flowers and animals. After school he often went to the forest, exploring and drawing the animals and flowers he saw there. That’s how he developed his good drawing skill.
In the forest he also discovered his ability to control the wind. He discovered it when his drawings once blew up in a tree. When Hiroshi reached out for them, he noticed the wind blew the drawings back to him. He was amazed by the fact, but first thought it was just coincidence. However, after trying it a few times more, he was sure it wasn’t just coincidence: he was controlling it.

When Hiroshi graduated from high school, he traveled for one year through several countries to see a bit more of the world, instead of only his hometown. During his traveling he gained the courage to talk more to people, that’s why he’s not very shy anymore. He can still be shy at some moments though, for example, when he needs to introduce himself.

On his travels, Hiroshi witnessed several people that got attacked, including a man that he met a few days earlier. However, the man was able to defend himself by using his ability to summon and control fire. Hiroshi was surprised by the fact that there were more people like him, who were able to control the elements, and that they were able to defend themselves by using this ability. This made him want to become stronger and to become able to protect himself and the people and things that he loved. The man told Hiroshi that he could become stronger by attending a mage school, Red Star Academy. Hiroshi found the school, thanks to directions of the man, and signed in. Hiroshi almost burst from excitement, when he received a letter a few months later that he got accepted.
