Pretty much except it has a plot, the weird/super powered person that lurks i the prison isnt is only a single creepy person that is a chick, warden is crazy, but has a plan and fairly organized, guard was born a woman. Only thing I didn't like about Deadland Wonderland is how high pitched the main characters voice is. It still looks like a really badass anime.
