Moving away from his famously powerful superhero father, the Hero tries to make a name for them self in a new city, but is it enough to get away from his family problems?

He isn't a new Villain, and actually he's making quite a name for himself, but with a new hero in town, can he keep his grip on the city? And who's this new guy that he keeps seeing around the city?

When the two meet out of costume, they hit it off quickly, but in costume they quickly become rivals. But is the villain really a villain? And is being a hero really the best option?

Alrigh, what are you looking for in ways of a Villain? I have a bunch of ideas ranging from mundane to dark to humorous :P

I was thinking more of a tortured soul who was forced into his position as a villain, but if you want the more classic villain I can do that too

Also, do you wanna do CS's?

I'm not too big a fan of overly angsty characters, though this RP will probably bring out a bit in both. How about a bit of all of the above? Something like Dr. Horrible? Can be dark and mean, but usually just awkward and (unintentionally sometimes) funny. What kind of characters do you like playing?

That actually sounds perfect, what I was going for anyway. I don't particularly like angst either, but I was talking more in the way of backstory - why he became a Villain even though he's a pretty good guy who just has some problems socializing.

Hmm, I can figure out my characters background IC, I'll just make him a stuttering, handsome, mess who has trouble socializing and dabbles in super-villainry on the side

Personality: He's an outgoing, if nervous, guy and sometimes a bit too eager to make friends. He has a hard time separating his in-suit and out-of-suit life, and sometimes wishes he hadn't decided to follow his father's footsteps, but knows that criminals would have the run of the streets if he didn't. He can't hide his contempt for his father however, the big hero in Metropolis--The Captain (yes, very cheesy), either as a hero or a person. His desire to be a better person than his father is what drives him.

Personality: Johannes has somewhat of a split personality disorder, with all the confidence in every bone in his body going into his Villainous identity, "The Shadowmancer". He is charismatic, outgoing, and capable of persuading just about anyone to do just about anything - making him all the more dangerous. In the meantime, his actual life is fairly anti-social. As the Chief of Staff to the Mayor of the city (hoping to one point run himself), he works efficiently and works hard in order to impress in place of actual social skills. He stutters, he splutters, and unlike his alter ego, struggles to communicate anything let alone persuade them of anything.
