Lydyn; I approve immunity to poisons, and the minor alterations to the remainder of immunity.

Slow fall is still a bit iffy for me, even with Ki in effect sheilding you there has to be some point at which this simply doesn't work, or some length of time for which you can keep this ability active before simply dropping.

Abundant step and Timeless body are acceptable with the updated descriptions.

    ---

Deamonbane; glad to have your interest.

    ---

LJCOMICS; a younger version would be acceptable, I have several plot-characters who may attempt to make use of him.

I read the latest three I saw you had posted in IC.

    ---
Xartarin; For the techno skill; Does it stop electrical impulses? If it does it would kill people too, does it mess up thermal dynamics, if so it would kill people too. It's also involuntary, and could be considered an auto-hit against a technological enemy.

Besides which; this and the ice ability don't really correspond at all. Is there some reason for both? This character is interesting, just not very functional.

    ---

Vulgarth; welcome to the Diamond Age.

    ---

Alittas; nice character. We're ending up a bit villain-centric, though. Would you mind switching her to an anti-hero? Maybe keep the same M.O, but steal from villains, or something equally fun. If not it's cool, though after you we'll be holding off on taking villains for a bit, because we've only got the one hero so far(not counting mine)

Well, unless she has an immunity to cold then she'd just die when she was frozen. I guess the other ice powers can go, though, that was just something that to help her fight.

Electrical impulses in the human body and thermodynamics aren't technology and existed far before the Incan Empire, so they wouldn't be affected. As for technological enemies, unless someone relies on the technology to live then the technology would just be deactivated for a little while. She should probably be kept away from people with pacemakers.

With your request, I changed her to an anti-hero.

    Thank you!

We would rather you kinda sorta scrap the tech power and just go with the ice. '^^ Unless there is a good reason for it to exist. And it does have to affect one or the other to mess with technology, soooz the before the Incan empire thingy doesn't really make sense.

I'm sorry if I am being a lil harsh. '>.<

I don't want to turn you off from the thread but that power as it iz is gonna have to go. Sorry >.>

And Alittas, welcome to Diamond Age. ^-^ You are accepted!! ^^

    You aren't getting it...
    How does it effect technology?
Whose were two ways, used by technology and the human body alike.

And a half mile is a BIG radius. Especially seeing as it's automatic.

    I say nay.

Sorry, but it just doesn't work.

I am remiss to inform you this ability is denied, unless we can get a good reason for it...

Like Sol said the opposite would be fine.

Like; an Incan cryomancer in our time.

    Or an all new character.

    ---

    Also; thank you, Alittas

You don't have to worry about turning me off from the thread, I'm fine with criticism. I do have a big pseudosciencey explanation for why it only affects technology involving localized temporal disturbances and minute, temporary changes to the laws of physics. If small details like that are the issue, I can easily add that. As for the range of effect, that's another small detail I can change as well. To be honest, I'm not that good at distances.

As for the reasoning and theme behind it, Juanita is supposed to be a relic of the past and the bane of modern society. Her villainous motivation is the destruction of modern technology, partly because her ability makes any integration into society impossible and partly because she sees all the terrible things caused by technology (environmental damage, high population, weapon, atomic bombs, etc.) as indicators that it's evil. She seeks to rip down all the modern conveniences of society and return it to a state she's more familiar with, something around the iron age.

However, if that kind of character isn't allowed, I can easily substitute her for someone that makes a bit less of an impact.

If you wouldn't mind the substitute it would be appreciated... ^^' The character was interesting, just not great for this right now...

    Leo Evans

    Leo Evans

    Alias: The Spirit
    Age: 36 (Looks 25)
    Sex: Male
    Height: 5'6"
    Weight: 150 lbs.

    Secret Identity: N/A
    Theme: Monk
    Icon: N/A
Territory: Colorado (but tends to travel a lot)
    Day job: N/A

    Powers
Hand-to-Hand Master: Master at hand-to-hand combat, at the very peak of training.
Enhanced Strength: Can lift cars with strain.
Enhanced Speed: Equal to 60 mph or ~96 kph.
Super Reflexes: Cannot gain any advantages by ambushing the hero (this doesn't mean the hero automatically dodges it, but it's like if you started to charge him in the middle of the field - the hero understands what's coming).
Ki Strike: Can split boulders and cars in half with relative use with the use of his own Ki. Can bypass magical & adamantine armor.
Immunity: Immune to poisons, diseases (only natural ones), & mind-affecting abilities.
Slow Fall: Can reduce falling damage to nothing for the length of fifteen seconds and must be concentrated on to activate.
    Resistance to Magic: Not immune.
Abundant Step: Akin to Flash Stepping.
Timeless Body: Doesn't age, but will still pass on naturally.
Tongue of Sun & Moon: Can speak and understand any language.
Transcendence: Has reached a higher plane of existence and therefore ignores all minor damage (bullets, but not explosives) unless it's magical in nature.

    Tier: Block Buster

    Background
As a small boy, Leo grew up in the monastery all of his life and was destined to be nothing more than a normal monk who sought perfect balance in life - or at least that's how it was for most young men. Instead his story would take another turn when he met Master Yang, one of the very few monks in this world to truly reach a higher plane of understanding. Much to Yang's surprise, Leo had an unnatural talent for grasping the concepts. This coupled with his passion and resolve to simply improve himself for no other reason than to make himself better made him a great student.

Over the years, Master Yang taught him all that he knew and as life would have it - even if the master looked no more than thirty - he passed on from this world, just in time for Leo to grasp a higher understanding of the world. Deciding that his ethics now demanded that he aid others, he set upon the world at large to try and right the wrongs of others. He has been doing so for the last eleven years.
