Anime North?

This is a convention in Canada so I'm not sure how many of you will be there but just wondering if anyone else will be there. Might be cool if we can all try to meet at some point.

I'll be there dressed up as Ike from Fire Emblem. Costume still being finished, if I can I'll try to get a picture of the costume on here before Anime North starts, if not I'll for sure have pictures of it posted after the convention.

To be specific on which promotion the costume is modeled off this promotion of Ike.



So if you want to try to pick me out from the crowd I'll probably be different than most of the Ikes there who will take the typical approach of Ike wearing almost nothing but blue clothes.

Nice attempt. A few minor concerns.

You lack the muscle definition... Do some push ups.
Eyes are the wrong color.
Sword isn't sharp enough.
Shinguards lack the metallic glow.
No mercenary company in presence.
In a modern 21st century kitchen instead of a battlefield.
Headband lacks the torn and rugged look.
So does cape.
It looks like you've never seen battle in your life.
Gauntlets look flimsy.
Blade is yellow instead of silver.

Pretty good....though I do think Push-ups would be a good thing.

Also your head band looks a little bit to big. Thick and wide compared to Ike's.

I am planning on doing a Soren cosplay, that aside I already have an Ike though and I live nowhere near Canada, to my disappointment.

Muscle I can't do a thing about, the headband I noticed while in the hotel room and just folded it in half to fix the problem.

Anyway's shame you couldn't go.

Anime North was a blast and I had a hell of time. Last day (today) I pretty much spent all day doing demo LARPs (Live Action Role Plays) and I'm thinking I may start to get into that.

Saturday was the most crowded day

If you were at the Toronto Congress Center's parking lot though and noticed a big fight going between 20 people for a video, or a big group of people walking around with a sign trying to get more people to join a 'Ontario Cosplay Wars', I was in that group.

Darn, I missed it. I was wandering around alot, spent a bunch of time in the dealers room. I also hung out alot by the Naruto photo shoot by the front for a good hour and a bit.

lol, that reminds me of how my friends were betting if they could find more naruto or bleach characters at the convention and both got really high counts but Naruto in the end had more I believe (might of been reverse though I don't remember fully).

Also the dealers room was expensive wasn't it? They love to overcharge for shit there.

You going to be at ConBravo any chance? Apparently Angry Video Game Nerd, Nostalgia Critic, Linkara and Spoony will be there this year (but no Angry Joe for some reason... Might be due to the border issues he had last year).
