Cool character, Angel! There are a few things you have to edit though, just for the sake of clarity.
When you get a chance, can you post an image of what your character is roughly supposed to look like? I know you have the description, but for players who need to get an idea of your character's appearance, it'll be good to have an image for quick reference.
Can you post your character's age? I think he's supposed to be around 15, but I'm not sure.
Now, I'm not 100% clear on the part about him wanting to read old books in order to cure the plague. Can you expand on this point a bit? I'm thinking that he thinks that the answers to the Second Cataclysm are hidden in old pre-Vault books. Is that right?
Also, can you change one aspect of his background? Basically, old people who survived the vaults unscathed are extremely, extremely rare, so not many people have living grandparents. There's probably around fewer than a hundred people older than the age of forty in the world, so could you make it so that he didn't have a living grandfather?

Well, I did send a message to everyone who posted in the Interest Check (who haven posted here) informing them of the OOC going up. Who knows, maybe this concept isn't as interesting to people as I thought it'd be.
