Well, I lost my bet. I had one strategy planned from the start which I have tried countless times to execute, but Necroloth stubbornly refused to move to the correct position that I needed. It was the only feasible way to defeat him using Mulberry, since she can neither best him at range nor melee.
What is this "unholy damage" the spirits are supposed to inflict?

just a type of damage like ice, or fire, in this case it just means it does direct damage to ones spirit or soul.
Edit: in regards to the Tree-Hugging Souls, I thought the arena could not be manipulated or changed? o.0
