THE RUNNERS
fight for freedom, take glory later.

In the year 2525, capitalism has finally come to its logical conclusion: the vast majority of the world is owned and controlled by a minority, a minority with a monopoly. Two major companies compete for the final prize, global domination, but in the backwater ghettos and broken down hover-villes a rebellion is stirring.

The signs that war is coming has been clear, the plummeting of the Stock Exchange, people rioting in the heart of the floating city, the two companies sent out small Mechs and Advanced Warfighters out in their spaced territory, and the ascension of the two companies ship fleet in space. All of the events lead up to one conclusion, the public announcement in all broadcast stations that war as broken loose.

The upper city folk witnessed a whole metropolis get burnt down in minutes because of total warfare, they witnessed starvation because supplies and rations depleted, they witnessed the loss of hope, but there are some that are willing to fight just to get the peace and tranquility back into their homelands.

A group of youths calling themselves 'Runners' have risen up to fight against the tyranny of the companies and helping out people who got affected because of the vast war that the world is experiencing, using their natural-born athleticism and ingenuity to out-smart the companies, stealing arms shipments and disrupting trade. The band of vagrants and vagabonds will have to work together if they want to enact change, but rest assured, change is coming.

I am the one who founded The Runners, I handle anything that we have, including the Runner-tech 2.0, which has gone into a lot of improvements since last year. I got the running skills because of all of those mischiefness that i did in School when I was still at High School, I get all of the great talent that I boarded up with me on the run. Don't you ever get in my way except when you are a fellow blood. Our duty is to make sure that we can put the final nail of the coffin into this war, and make sure our society will build up afterwards.

FEDERATION TECH LABS


Before the space elevator and the spaceships were Invented, several weaponry experts and technology scientists formed the Federation Tech Labs, their objective was simple, become the leading powerhouse of the weaponry business in the world. They started making the first laser weaponry like the Laser Pistols and Laser Rifles. First ever in the world, they only distributed it to large corporations who needed the weaponry, after the so called "Dawn of Technology" in the year 2300, they got the title, "Leading Weaponry Manufacturer in the World." after 2300, they started to sell them to the public who only needed their weaponry. Years have past and they finally powered the whole world with their weaponry, state of the art vehicles and armory, and they even made their own army called, the "Federation Army". Almost every military agencies in the world turned into their weaponry and thus thrown away the machine bullet weaponry to Laser tech weaponry.

MILES INDUSTRIES


Miles Industries was made by the ancestral corporations from the past centuries. They have taken over almost every little trading facilities in the whole world. After making deals with the Federates to sign a contract about filling up the whole Miles Industries some firepower, they have used the Federate's weaponry in order to make their own, Thus leading to a conflict between the two parties. They have stated that their weaponry will aim towards the Military also, but more, cheaper prices rather than the Federates. Years have past and they have trained legit people and agents in order to create their own Army. stating that they'll protect the people with their state-of-the-art Weaponry.

This is obviously taking the direction of an Organization/ Military RP so I think one or two rival factions for players to choose from. Maybe that can be where some or most of the story is generated.

Is the city in the above image the only city in the RP?
It would be great if it were, that would limit area and increase interaction. If too many characters are made, do some expanding.
Also, are we looking at specific placement or general, because some prefer just saying they go to the shop and some like detailing the rout they took down to the last daisy....

It's not only the city that I have planned, we can have a Tokyo neon-ish city and another city. I need some suggestions with the 3rd city tho.

The picture above is just the middle part of the city. The first city has a lot of districts which I am planning to make a diagram of it sometime later.

Being raised by all men, shes fairly masculin in some habits. With both her brothers enjoying fishing and hunting, they drag Kayla along. Her old house was stocked with hunting equipment, and they always went out camping as a family. Having a good understanding of the outdoors, she enjoys spending time out in forests or woodsy areas. Shes very adventurous and a tomboy. Shes tough, reliable, and never gives up. She has a tough shell, thats near impossible to get through. With her, it's all , or nothing.
