This is an interest check for a role play I have on another site, I will move it here if enough people are interested.
In this fair land of Embroid we seek power. ~The Sinner, on what to do wrong. From The Accepted chapters of the god's words.
The year is 805, under the rule of Empire of Kenos. People have barely started mingling in steam powered machinery. The creatures known as 'Lesser Immortals' are running rampant, some peaceful, some deadly. I believe it is the plotting of Outcast, the guild of mages and necromancers who never completed their training.

-Gods
Araim, the god of good, warmth and light
Chaut, the goddess of evil, cold, and darkness
-Greater Immortals
Spirits of the first of any species, their first civilization, they act as minor deities.
-Lesser Immortals
Legendary creatures like dragons, basilisks, and phoenix. Called immortal because they do not die unless harm is done against them.
Playable races:
Spiriti: Souls of service made by powerful mages in the divine realms, they think and act on their own free will because anything made in the divine realms cannot be owned or controlled.
Human: Well you know... Some are born with magic, but they are raised in the mage's tower to learn how to control their gift.
Kiinal: Part human, part beast of any kind. Usually made by an insane alchemist. (Neko's, furries, harpies, etc.)
Types of magic: Choose one, if your character has magic.
Alchemy: the mage can change base elements into anything, like sand into a fried goose.
Gift: The mage can alter or control their nonthinking surroundings.
Wild: The mage can shape shift into animals, and communicate with animals as a normal human.
Fear: The mage feeds from fear, usually doing drugs to drown out their own fears.
Elemental: The mage's power is tied to one of the four major elements; water, fire, earth, and wind.
Good water mages manipulate water, and other non pollutant liquids.
Bad water mages manipulate ice and pollutant liquids like oil.
Fire mages just manipulate fire.
Good earth mages manipulate living plants.
Bad earth mages manipulate stones, sand and crystals.
Wind mages just manipulate the wind.

Necromancy is illegal unless sanctioned by the government, to stop zombie epidemics and lessen murder.
This Rp is mainly based in a city on the main land of Embroid. The city is very large, has your basic social set up of upper, mid, and lower class.
You start at the festival of creation, where craftsmen, peaceful immortals, and mages alike show and sell wares as a chance to group up for the rp.
The city is crescent shaped where the indent is cradling a large lake with a river outlet into the ocean. There is a forest beyond the lower class side of town. The mage's tower sits at the center of the town, on the edge of the water. At the top of upper class is the castle, followed by the garden district, then the temple district and finally resedential, the lower class side is a mirror of the upper class, but instead of a castle, garden, or temple district, there is a larger residential district and a graveyard.
