Also isn't there winter balls here? Maybe hers lands on the winter ball, and both Fonsus and Rich manage to convince her to come to it and they have some secret little surprise for her. (a song in her honor? a spell named and created after her?)

Wow, my actual birthday falls into the Hornbeam's category.

But on the characters: Richard does not fit the hornbeam's description at all. Sounds like Slughorn(and I think that might be his wand, actually).

Yeah, she does sound like the chestnut tree. Well, I guess most of it fits her rather her fit it.
