oh Eyeris. You always make me grin.
....and you make my head shake, Gisk. (so you don't feel left out on the love)

THINGS I FOUND HELPFUL and/or INTERESTING TO THINK ON
"Now, a message to new students, and a reminder to old:
Tryouts for dueling and quidditch House teams are on Friday... No George, you still cannot join both. Why do you think you have the time?" A seventh year in Ignis groaned, "If you are caught trying to practice for either of these in our hallways, you will be punished. There's been a lot of debate about what pets are allowed: If your pet is liable to eat another person's pet, it's not allowed. If you leave school between classes, and are under the age of seventeen, you must, as always, check your wand in. Do not try to sneak it past. I will notice."The two students who disappeared were caught having sex in an abandoned classroom, which is of course against the rules. They were sent to the Headmistress's office by the previous DADA teacher. He left the two outside of her office(she was out) as he had another issue to deal with. Professor Greenwald never saw either of them, they were gone before she came back, though it was another whole day before anyone realized that they had gone missing.
The most interesting bit, however, is that every single portrait in the area has a three hour long blank in their memory. The charms teacher, Jonas White, couldn't even restore their memories of the event, though he worked at it for hours. But, Gisk, that blue notebook is important. It has all of Adelfonsus's notes on Animagus' and other things. But mostly some secret planning. I made it up last minute since I thought about how Richard and Unwen would collaborate on that little project. Fonsus would have to have a prior interest in it, but he's not going to blurt it out to Richard one random day, and he's still going to have some precaution around the two (eyeris and you). So, the notebooks came around. Think Richard would "borrow" it one fateful day?
We can create other possible events/points of conflict:
Jack Hale and that smart-alack from Charms could become school antagonists.
Hale because he is a bully, and possibly you guys make him very mad in detention...
And he realizes that he can't really best Rich and Fonsus, then perhaps he starts targeting Ocllo because he realizes they are friends and she sucks at magic. *
The smart-alack could place some academic pressure on them - mostly Ocllo, but it could work. Maybe that's what sends her looking for outside help. She could turn to Richard for help first.**
*I find this a bit weak, but maybe Hale does stick around a little bit longer. Maybe this could clear the air between Fonsus and Rich.
**I like this one a whole lot because I can see it really pushing Ocllo's character.Jeffrey Lark and Katherine Hale disappeared toward the end of last year. They were a couple, caught getting freaky and sent to the Headmistress's office. The teacher who caught them was Professor Clowers(who has been replaced by Professor Crepley after suffering some unnamed "injury.") They never made it to Greenwald's office, all the paintings in the building have a strange memory blank(suggesting dark tampering) and no trace of them has ever been found.
A few of the clues I've built up: The teacher who sent them to the headmistress is no longer here, but exactly where he's gone hasn't been mentioned to the students. The absolute disappearance of the victims is suggestive of a magical means of hiding(otherwise they would have been found by now).
