That's the reason why I hate when RPs die, you put anywhere from an hour to three or four and then suddenly that work becomes null because a few people don't want to post. >_>

Also! CS will be done in about another hour as I have got some good ideas to work with, as well as some motivation now. Question though, where exactly is the group heading? I'd like to add a little at the end so that I can add some sort of tidbit on my character's whereabouts. You know, because it'd be bad if everyone is in Markarth while he's at Dawnstar or something like that. :P

Yeah, it was just weird because they spent several days working on them and going back to correct my suggestions, and then just never came back when they were approved. o.O It was too bad, the characters were all mostly pretty interesting and the players are usually good. I think a part of it was I wasn't on the ball getting back in a timely manner because that was around when my old computer died and I had to smash the hard drive with a steel mallet to keep some weirdo from digging it out of the landfill and stealin' mah information. Ah, good times. I wasn't buried in snow and I remembered what warmth felt like then.

Woo! VICTORY LAP! I greatly anticipate the sheet, d00dguy. I'll PM you how your character's getting into it after the sheet's up, since it's something that I kind of want to be a bit of surprise for the current players but knowledge for the new people, since they kind of have to know. But there is somewhere specific your character HAS to be. I'll just tell you where that is. Unfortunately, given the nature of this RP, it's somewhat linear and it's not easy throwing in people where ever like a lot of other RPs (including most other's I've done), because this plot NEEDS to follow a general trail because of the nature of the plot (you can't exactly ignore the fact all of Tamriel's more or less being brainwashed and your characters are being hunted down, the group needs to put an end to it), and because there's some points where player choice is going to be a key factor in determining how this sets up for the sequel. I know, this one's like half-completed and I'm already working on a sequel. But to answer your question, just make sure your character has been in Skyrim for the past several months, at least. I'll give you what you need afterwards.

Okay, I was heading for him to be in that area already so it shouldn't be a problem.

    Name: Sir Kilian Syrell
    Race: Breton
    Family Origins: Noble of Evermor
Appearance: He is a faceless man, his face always concealed by his helmet.
    Age: 29
He stands at about 6'1" and weighs about 205 lbs.

    Equipment:

-A full suit of steel plate armor
    -A dwemer longsword
    -A silver longsword
    Miscellanea:
    -One Potion of Healing
    -One Potion of Magicka
-About a week's worth of food (salted pork & some hard bread)
-A small, protective iron case which is itself encased in leather (used to protect more delicate items, such as potions, in a fight)
    -Bedroll
    -Water flask
-A back satchel (used to strap his bedroll to and to carry small things and things he intends to sell)

    Favored Skills:

    [Highly Proficient]
---Conjuration (Being a Breton, this is pretty much laced in his blood plus it's what he spent most of his childhood learning)
---Single Handed (Before joining the Knights of the Circle, he put an arduous amount of time into learning physical combat; he has recently adopted dual wielding swords)
    [Moderately Proficient]
--Restoration (Joining the Order had Restoration magick as a prerequisite, which compounded on his magick training from youth)
--Heavy Armor (While having no experience in it before knighthood, he has used it enough where he can maneuver in it just as well as any soldier)
    [Somewhat Proficient]
-Archery (Hunting was a past time from his youth and has recently taken it back up)

    Background:

Killian was born to two ecstatic nobles in their estate in the country of High Rock. Both were accomplished mages, not to mention high ranking members of the Synod, so it was safe to say that there was much joy in the household when the young babe came to them in Rain's Hand, and by extension was born under the Sign of the Mage. The parents' enthusiasm made the two enroll young Killian, who had only just grown to the age of ten, join the Synod under their tutelage.

He studied magic under them for six years before becoming an independent member of the Mages' Guild remnant. His intense studies in conjuration, as well as the rebellious teen spirit within him, were the two backing reasons for his development of more martial skills with this freedom. His membership within the Synod required magic to be a large part of his life though so besides his strenuous use of conjuration, he had to incorporate something more. His choice was the magick of restoration, finding it useful for those minor cuts and scrapes as well as the fatigue that sword fighting tended to bring.

At eighteen, he just walked away from home. This sudden and drastic course of action was spurned by his parents, they wanted him to give up his use of the sword, something he had grown to love, even if it was a blade that he had conjured from the planes of Oblivion himself; they had even threatened to disown the young man if he did not abide by their wishes. This was something he could not do, so after packing up the few things he could carry, he left.

He traveled around High Rock for a few seasons after that, deciding to take care of an astounding problem with the undead as an act of "charity". In reality, he couldn't care less about the people or their money (it helped that he had taken a small fortune from the estate), he just wanted some combat practice. His "noble" acts had eventually caught the eye of the Knights of the Circle, the militant followers of Arkay. The group had approached Killian, now nineteen, with the offer of knighthood; while he was certainly a follower of the Eight, it was not as if he were an ardent follower of any one god let alone Arkay. This didn't stop him though, as he saw this as an opportunity, one where he could make his own fame and fortune using his skills with a sword and essentially "one up" his strictly mage parents.

Killian worked with the Circle for seven years, continuing his hunt of the undead while slowly advancing up the ranks. He had become a chevalier for Arkay in the amount of time spent there; an amazing accomplishment seeing as how he lacked pure devotion to the god, but still he was not advancing enough. His impatience, compounded with his rather egotistical behavior and hostile approach to those not of Men, had gotten him dismissed from service; he was only allowed back after a complete readjustment of character. Pride, among other things, kept Killian from doing any such thing, and he instead decided to travel east, toward Skyrim.

He wandered around the Nord homelands for some time on his own. He joined the rare expedition into the unexplored Dwemer ruins in the region, as well as resorting to the old habit of undead hunting; his most impressive accomplishment during this time being his kill of a Volkihar vampire lord, something that had almost cost him his life. Through his adventures, he had kept the his knightly title, out of childish spite of all things, feeling as he had earned the title, even if those who had granted it to him did not recognize it.

The last few months have been strange for the Breton. His activity in the area had apparently ruffled somebody's feathers, although exactly who's was still a mystery. He didn't know why Imperials were after him, or why some of the rebels, who still held their sentiments after all these years, were now bowing down before the Empire with no problem, and he didn't rightly care for the matter either. Killian quickly learned to put on a facade of devotion, an act he was familiar with, when in town, and to generally stay away from populated areas for large amounts of time, lest he draw the attention of the more clever folk. For the past few months, he had been living a hermit's life.

Fighting Style: Killian is a front line fighter, going toe-to-toe with his opponent with the usual atronach as magic support. He is also capable and willing to heal himself and others if they need it.

Personality: Narcissistic, dour, arrogant, vitrolic and an elitist at heart; if Killian thinks he's better, you'll know it until you're sick. The young man is also rather childish, retaining a spoiled demeanor from his years in lush seclusion from most of the world. He does do good on a regular basis though, and that is probably his sole redeeming trait, but it's for all the wrong reasons as all he wants is a good reputation to his name. Being raised by a family of Imperial supporters has also left him as racist as a Stormcloak, often referring to Mer and the beast races with some derogatory term.

I like it. Very well rounded person...

So Dervish... are you going to kill off the inactive players in the dragon fight? Or are they going to slowly dissapear? I had some idea on how maybe the inactive ones could "blend in with the others" at a certain point. Hope you understand what imean, not to give any spoilers out

Voltin, approved! Although you need to separate your skills into highly, moderately, and somewhat proficient. :P I'll explain how your character's getting in the story via PM after I get home from the theater! Jack, I'm probably not killing characters off if the players return. Most were very active but haven't been online for various reasons, likely school. I have plans to put the characters into an inactive state coming up where they can enter in upon their return. I've already cleared the dropped players from the list some time ago, so don't worry, I have plans.

Actually I did. The number of dashes indicates how proficient he is in the skill. :P
I'll still change it though, just wanted to point it out.

    Skyforge Steel Sword (handed-down)

    2 bread

    Potions
    1 Minor Stanima
    1 Minor Healing
    1 Minor Magika

    weight= 5.80 lbs

    Favored Skills:
    Combat
    One Handed High
This is the main thing she was trained to use. Ever since she was a young Nord her grandfather and Father taught her how to use a sword. Her father always tried to get her into two handed weapons, but her grandfather thought it was best to have a shield in one and a blade in another. After her grandfather's death, she was left with his Skyforge, which was his first weapon given to him once he entered into the Companions.

    Blocking High
Blocking has come into play many times in her life and it really saved her ass. With a shield she is able to bash and guard herself from attacks. Like the suggestion for using a one handed sword, her grandfather also taught her how to use a shield, gaining much needed strength and muscle in her left arm.

    Stealth
    Sneak Moderate
Merilis was taught the basics when she was living in Windhelm by one of the best in the city. Pick pocketing and sneaking in one of her specialties now,and it always come in handy.

    Light Armor Moderate
She wears hide. This also comes in handy when sneaking since it doesn't make that bulking noise and its easier to run with.

    Magic
    Restoration Somewhat Proficient
She learned this by reading many books on healing when she was younger and had a lot of free times with the Companions. She isn't the best magic user, but decided to learn this restoration spell just in case she needed it for future battles.

    Background and a "brief" history:
Merilis was born in Whiterun, her father and grandfather were members of the companions and were well known in the city. Her mother on the other hand was born and raised in the freezing kingdom of Whindhelm, after many years she left that unruly place filled with dark elves and ventured toward Riverwood, where she stayed with distant family that owned a small farm. Merilis mother, being a very beautiful woman, attracted a lot of attention even from Merilis father who was in the town on a mission to kill a couple Foresworn in the Helgen area. They fell in love and under the Goddess Mara they were married and lived in Whiterun.

A year passed and the woman gave birth to Merilis. The child spent most of her time being around the Companions. It influenced the young child to be heroic and to fight for what was right. She use to stand up to the kids that bullied others, putting them in their place, which in the end she was rung by her mother getting rants about how hurting others were bad, and a secretly high five from her father and a sweet roll treat, for standing up for what she thought was right.

In her teen years, a rebellious side took over and since she thought she was so powerful, she took it upon herself to attack a pack of wolf that had been terrorizing a camp south of Whiterun. So taking an old iron sword and iron shield she escaped through the night and went on a search for these wolves. It was late and they hadn't shown themselves at all until she was ambushed by the four of these feral creatures. Freaking out, since this was her first real battle, she lost her sword and was thrown to the ground, only her shield protecting her from sharp teeth and killer claws. Until there was a yell, a cry. The wolves howled and growled as someone else caught their attention, this man, who ever he was, saved her,and she watched
as this man killed each wolf with one simple slash each. Her heart and breathing was so fast, that she hyperventilated and past out. The next morning she was in her bed,and the rest of the month she was punished severely and was told she had to polish every single we weapon owned by the Companions. She was only 13.

When she turned 17, after many years worth of combat training from her father and grandfather, she was intending to be apart of the Companions. She had known the others and had trained with them for years, and they were her family. But her mother refused to allow to become one and forced her daughter to travel to Windhelm to help her grandparents at the sea ports. With many days and nights of arguments and fights, Merilis failed and was forced to be leave Whiterun and be taken to Windhelm. But not with out a gift from her grandfather who gave her his old Skyforge sword.

Upon staying in Windhelm she hated it there! Not only was she disgusted with the racism against anyone that wasn't a Nord, it was too damned cold and dark!! She was there for another 3 years, fending for herself since her mother's parents weren't very...caring. Because of this anger, she was going to run away. In the city she talked to Silda the Unseen, a beggar woman who Merilis would give 1 septim each day out of the kindness of her heart, asking her if she would train her to become a pickpocket and use sneak. Silda agreed to teaching it and allowed her to pay for less than 200 septims. The woman taught and Merilis learned from the best getting the basics down. After collecting enough septims she ran away, taking a carriage back to Whiterun where she was confronted with terrible news. Her grandfather had died by the hands of an organization called the Silver Hand. Not much was told to Merilis about this group and this made the female boil with anger and she swore she would kill these people. The Companions, in fear that their secret would be exposed, stopped Merilis and told her not to do it, to let her grandfather's death go easy. which didn't help because the female became even more infuriated and cursed the Companions. In embarrassment her father forced her to leave, to not comeback to the Companion's domain nor show her face in front of him and was sent to Riverwood. She was 20 when this happened.

A year later, she started her journey, leaving Riverwood to travel on her own, looking for information about this Silver Hand group. But soon the quest disappeared, it lingered on and on until there was no hope and she couldn't find anything. That took up 2 whole years. She was 23 when she finally decided that she would quit this useless quest for vengeance and travel, still asking a question here or there about the group of killers.

She explored the land, from the frozen tundras where ice trolls (damned things) lurked in the caves and dwelled in the mountains, to the swamps of Riften where the thieves were welcomed with an open arm, and a dagger behind it's back.

BY the time she turned 26, she was already traveled most of Skyrim, doing quest for money, and since the Civil War ended in Skyrim, and the death of the Dragon born the roads of Skyrim have somewhat become peaceful with the Imperials rule.

    Fighting Style:
Merilis uses her strength and stamina to fight. Blocking and the use of a one-handed weapon are her strong points. Block-Bash-Slash-Smash, pretty much. At times though she could get carried away, especially when she begins to get frustrated, she would be seen hitting the creature multiple times even when it's dead and it's spirit arrived to Sauvenguard, but that is sometimes. Her only thought though when in fights is to survive and she will use anything to accomplish that. If there is a bow and arrow on the floor, she will use it. If the guy she just killed had potions on him, she will take them, a dead man's position is a breathing man's necessity.

    Personality:
Ever since the mistreatment of her grandparents in Windhelm, the death of her grandfather, and the way her father pretty much disowned her, Merilis's heart turned cold.
Sure she is nice sometimes... to a point. There is a reason why she travels alone. She believes she doesn't need dead weight dragging behind her, that anyone that can't match her skill, is useless and she would leave her "comrade's" ass to become prey for the wolves if they tried anything slick. It has happened once before, and she didn't hesitate to cut a few fingers off.
But that doesn't mean she isn't nice. She could spare a septum or two to the needy. The divines always smile upon those who give for charity. And when it came to children...yeah... that is yet another weak spot, she is very kind to the young and loves to sit and tell them about her adventures through the caves and ruins, about the creatures that hide in them.

But recently she has become more aware, especially with all this weird stuff happening, and she cannot trust much people. Yet, she hopes to find someone who is sharing her belief that something bad is coming their way...

Alrighty Nikki, good application so far! Just a few things I'd like to point out, and you'll be golden.

First, this is five years after the events of Skyrim (including the end of the civil war and the Dovahkiin slaying Alduin and making everyone happy), so your timelines seem a bit mixed up. When Skyrim happened, Dai-Ja (peculiar name for a Nord, by the way! I'd expect that to be argonian) would have been 21, and as you describe it, going about her journeys, which is now 5 years later, so not too far off of when she started out. Just keep that in mind for the background portion, where you describe the dragons and Dovahkiin as legends. Almost everybody alive in Skyrim would have likely seen a dragon, and there's a good chance anyone in the cities would have seen the Dovahkiin, especially in Whiterun. You also say her mother fled to Whiterun at the end of the Civil War where she met Dai-Ja's father and gave birth to her, that timing is kind of impossible. o.O I'm not sure where the idea of this RP being about twenty five years after Skyrim came from, but I'm pretty sure I mentioned 5 on a few occasions.

Other than that, if you could do a little more detail about Dai-Ja's upbringing, people in her life, and so on so forth, that would be awesome. There's a good chance of encountering people from your character's past in this RP, and it's about the group in general and not just Zaveed leading them on a hopeless quest to assassinate the Emperor. Everyone's personal stories matter, and the more developed your character is, the more you'll feel like you know who Dai-ja is and her place in the world, as well as how she'll react to people in the party. Having a bit of history to draw off of helps colour a person's perspective, and experiences dictate who a person becomes. For instance, my second character, Marassa, is largely a loner who is slow to trust people and has long forgotten tact and diplomacy due to her several year search of her brother across Skyrim, where nearly every day of her life was a fight of one or another, but she's become very understanding of different cultures and people and how to survive off the land in the process. There's a lot of potential for a really interesting backstory in Dai-ja's own journeys across Skyrim, it would be wonderful to find out what forces shaped her into the person she became, if that makes any sense. Read over the accepted sheets and see what I have in mind. A detailed background goes along way in ensuring people are invested in the RP, especially if they grow to really love their character even before they start.

Other than that, the CS was really good, and I am happy you put the bit about the auroras in her personality. I'm glad you mentioned it, considering how big of a deal it is. Only other minor thing to change is your skills should follow the Highly, Moderately, and Somewhat proficient scale and try to fill up the amount of skills your character has, or at least bump things up on the scale. It just makes it a good, quick reference to figure out how talented someone is with one thing or another and it kind of gives indications of what character is better at what. 4 skills aren't that many, I'm sure someone as well travelled as Dai-ja will have picked up a few other skills along the way!

    Name: Kyra

    Race: Khakiit

Family Origins: She grew up in the high far mountains of Skyrim, growing up with her mother until the age of seven until she was adopted by a Nord named Rognark until the age of 20. Not once has she set foot off the mountin until now.

Appearance: Standing around 6'0, Kyra has pure white fluffy thick fur with black tiger pattern stripes. The stripes form a M on top of her forehead and she has black tipped ears and a black tipped tail. Unlike most female Khajiits, her face has fluffy fur, not as long as males but longer then females. She has a toned, agile build with long slender legs for running and small feet. Her ears and tail are long and she has ice blue eyes. Three claw scars go from her right temple to her lower left jaw, crossing her face.

    Age: 20

Equipment: Wears the Elvan armor set. Including Sword, shield, bow, and 10 arrows. All handed down to her from Rognark, who said he had killed a Thalmor Elf on his travels. And looted him, but since he didnt really need the light armor, he gave it to her.A backpack(about the size of a regular backpack.

Miscellanea: 15 lockpicks, 2 minor healing potions, 2 stamina potions. 2 pieces of bread, 1 venison. 1 deer skins.

    Favored Skills:

Highly proficient- Sneaking. She has practiced this since she was a little girl by her mother and then Rognark, saying that if you can avoid trouble, do so.

Moderately Proficient- Sword, Shield, and Light Armor and bow (sacrifice 2 minor) are her moderate abilities. She has learned these through her years with Rognark who was once a soldier. He taught her all he knew, but her body was not made for heavier things so he had to teach her with light equipment. She has been training with these skills since she was seven years old.

Minor Ability- lockpicking, the reason she isn't as good at this skill is because her mentor didn't know lockpicking that well, and so she only knows a few things about it. Which frustrates her because she dislikes how often she breaks her lockpicks.

Background and a "brief" history: Kyra grew up a regular girl, by herself, in the mountain with her beloved mother. She was innocent the the world off the mountain, but everything seemed normal to fish for her food, to cuddle up beside her mother in their small wooden home. Although she read books of the world outside, she was just happy being with her mother. That all changed though, when she was seven years old. The young feline went to the river to get a bucket of water, when she returned though, she saw that her home was on fire. Distraught, she went to go running to the fire, calling for her mother until a rough smooth skin hand clamped around her mouth and whispered. 'Run.... Run to Skyrim... your dsstiny is there little one... do not look back... they are after you... go.. hurry." Came a male hissing voice.

When she turned, no one was there, but she saw figures in front of her home, she could hear laughter and the roars of victory. Tears stinging her eyes, her heart racing rapidly, she sprinted away and into the woods. She ran... and ran.. through the snow.. through a blizzard. But her small body could not survive on its own without anothers care. Despite her winter fur, it was only a kits fur, and so she ended up falling... and drifting into a slumber. Calling out for her mother, 'Momma...! MOMMA!' she would call but here was no answer.

Her mother was alive she was sure, but she was unable to continue looking. So she fell alseep... but when she awoke, she found herself bundled in furs and in a strange house that smelled weird. At first she thought that had been a dream, but instead a male Nord came in and told her he had found her half frozen to death. She explained what happened and asked the Nord who was called Rognark if he had seen her mother, but he told her no. The cub didn't know what to do then, what could she do? That aas all she had known. It was then Rognark allowed her to stay with him, being a bit lonely from his time in solitude. But for her stay she would have to work hard and train in the ways of the sword, if she wished to survive. So they trained for many years, all the while she was hoping to be strong enough to search her mother.

At the age of twelve, she got a little cocky after being able to hunt a Elk, and since there was a bear stealing their fish, she offered to hunt the bear herself. Rognark forbid it though, saying that she wasn't ready for such a creature. Angry, she stormed off to hunt another elk, only to find a bear eating berries. Grinning, she took her bow and arrow and made a shot for the bears skull, but instead it went to its shoulder. It was angry and it charged her, and fear grew within her. Hurriedly she scurried up a tree, trying to shoot it whenever she had a stopping spot. Due to her panic, she missed and the bear climbed up faster, its fangs chomping down on her leg and draging her down to the ground. The khajiit screamed, hollared and tried to break free, only managing to duck away from her head being smacked off. The bears claws did cut her face heavily though, and it was about to finish her if Rognark didn't come and kill the beast.

Ever since, she has been terrified of bears, and is unable to fight them properly without freezing where she stands. At the age of 16, she got a bit rebellious again when Rognark told her that her mother was most likely dead. Angry, she turned and stormed away to return back to her old home to prove that the Nord was lying. She found the old burnt ashes and found some dug up bones that a animal mosgly likely done. It was a cat like skull, too small for a sabertooth but too big to be a regular housecat. Until she saw the more humanoid bones... she broke down in tears as the truth was set before her, her mother had really died. And she had done nothing. She returned home and accepted this, apologizing to her mentor and only father figure.

At the age of twenty, once again her home was attacked by bandits, and again she was told to run. Rognark gave her the necklace she now wears, and told her she was like a daughter and he wanted her to run down the mountain and to find any city or town in Skyrim. Fear crossed her, she didn't want to leave him, but she couldn't disobey him either. She was scared of the unknown world but she made her mentor promise that he wouldn't die and they would meet again. After, she took what she could carry before fleeing down the mountain.

And that's where her journwy begins.

It turns out though.. those were not bandits Kyra thought they were, no but assassins. Coming for her mothers head and her own. Why? Kyra doesn't know but this happened before her own birth

Kyra's mother lived amongst a traveling caravan, a caravan that of course despised Argonions. She was married to the caravan leader Rol-Alit and was carrying his child (Kyra) who was unborn at the time. Sadly, she did not love the man, and she wanted something more in her life. They then met a group of Argonions camping nearby near Whiterun. Both coming for their own goals, but bringing hostility with them.

Rol-Alit despised Argonions and was ready for blood but due to not wanting to sacrifice possible trade with the Nords in Whiterun, both behaved and stayed on either side of the gates. @

Kyra's mother, oddly named Athena, went to get water by the river ahen she bumped into a very dark scaled Argonion named Rakem. Or Seeker-Of-Darkness. At first, they bickered a little of course, but after Athena fell into the river. The Argonian felt bad for having any expecting woman getting soaked, even if this was a Khajiit.

Over the days, they met at the river and talked. Some explaining one anothers culture. Both had a hard time understanding either though, epecially when Rakum spoke in Hist.

Call it attraction or friendship, they were closer than most Argonians and Khajiits. Both of their parents have passed away and they held no siblings. All was well until Rol-Alik saw them talking as if they were friends.

Enraged, he went to strike the Argonion but Athena stopped him. Angry, he named Athena a traitor and Raluk a filthy wizard that bewitched his mate. Though the rest of the caravan didn't quite agree Athena was capable as a traitor, it gave them a excuse to fight the Argonions. Raluk was about to join the battle but told Athena to flee to the mountains. For no woman should have someone such as hat 'filthy mop' as a mate.

He was correct, she did not love him, nor did she have anyone she truly cared for at home. So she fled, not wanting to be slain by her mate or a Argonion. So she found a abandoned home in the mountains where she raised her child.

    And so, she was hunted.

Fighting Style: It depends on the opponent. If its a bigger stronger opponent (like trolls, giants, mammoths) she will gurilla attack it with her bow and arrow. Shooting and running around rocks to shoot them again and by some time between them and her. If not, she willh directly attaci them with sword and shield. Attacking in face pace stabs and slashes before leaping away for a posssible attack.

Personality: A kind hearted soul, she always tries to judge what is right and help people. Problem is that she is very innocent and naive. She doesnt know much about races, even her own kind, and nothing on politics. Although she is shy and cautious with strangers, she could be mislead. She cant lie very well, and she is often clumsy, and often mistakes horses as deer which she hunts. Or a dog as a weird fox. She also tends to be really stubborn once she puts her mind to something. Her feelings are easily hurt, and she gets angry if people talk bad of her mother or Rognark. She's also terrified of bears, hates swimming and is nervous when there is thunder. Though she tries to put ag brave face on for her allies. Always eager to try and make friends wwith anybody (which can bring a downfall since she could try and befriend a assassin). Also. Has a peculiar accent of a mixture of a Nord and Khajiit.
