This looks pretty intriguing, I think I can create an Aquamancer for this.![]()
Just a question, Will we start out in our respective classes or be thrown straight into the journey?

I'll throw up a CS in a bit. ^^
Magi spots are full, but you may join as a warrior or an archer.
Note: This is not my original idea, it is just a revival. Original idea is from Twisted Fate.
IC HERE
Magic had always been common in the land of Serian. Every village tended to produce at least two or three magic-users per generation, and would proudly send them off to the Spellbound Guild. Here, the students would be trained and instructed on their chosen art of magic. All sorts of magic were allowed, from Elementalism to Necromancy. Here, no-one would be judged by their art, for every wielder of magic was equal.
Or so they said.
One day, two of the most prominent members of the Magi’s Council disappeared, taking with them the sacred artefact of the art which they represented. From the profession of Clericism, the Holy Orb, a device which gave the wielder power over life. And from the profession of Necromancy, the Skull of The Apocalypse, which gave the user complete control over death. These two artifacts, should they be combined and restored to their true power through ancient and forbidden rituals, would grant the wielders omnipotence itself.
The Guild would not stand for this. They sent out a group of their most advanced students to try and stop the Magi who had left. Caius Dramone, the Magi of Necromancy, and Jenna Savol, the Magi of Clerimancy. These students would have to face a perilous journey to stop these two and restore order to the world.
================================================== =================================================
Types of Magic
The High Arts
Clerimancy: The study of life. Clerimancers often specialise in healing, though that isn't the only use of it. Clerimancers have the unique ability to tap into a beings life force, and manipulate it in ways unimaginable to most people, allowing them to create diseases through lengthy rituals and place them in a person’s bloodstream. A Clerimancers main offensive technique is their power over disease, once they have created one; they can implant it in people at will.
Necromancy: The study of death. Necromancers use dark rituals to reanimate corpses. The corpses don’t become fully alive though, they become mindless abominations, only capable of serving their creator’s orders. Necromancers can also tap into life force, like Clerimancers. However, they cannot manipulate it in the same way; Necromancers can only use it to refuel their own powers. Their main offensive technique is their vampiric powers, allowing them to drain the life out of people.
The Physical Arts
Elematalism: Elemantalists can control one of the four controllable elements. When they start their education, they choose whether to focus on Pyromancy, Aeromancy, Electromancy or Aquamancy. Pyromancers have the ability to manipulate fire, and direct it in various ways. The same applies for Aeromancers and Aquamancers, but focusing on air and water respectively. Their main offensive technique is the ability to direct the elements at their enemies in various, devastating ways.
Naturalism: Naturalist’s draw their power from nature itself, gaining the ability to control plants. They can use the plant life that they grow or manipulate to harass and distract enemies. Their main offensive technique is the ability to use plants to strangle, pierce, poison or paralyze enemies.
Golemancy: Golemancy is a debateable art, as some believe that it belongs with the High Arts, rather than the Physical Arts. Golemancers have the ability to create and direct golems, from whatever materials they can find. Once a golem is assembled, a lengthy ritual is carried out to breathe life into it. The larger the golem, the longer it takes. Each Golemancer creates their own golem on graduation, which can be used as a steed, guard, or any other servant. Their main offensice technique is the brute force of their golems, as they are sworn to protect their creators.
The Immaterial Arts
Illusionism: Illusionists can manipulate peoples senses, causing them to have hallucinations. Illusionists’ hallucinations can make people afraid, wary, and even drive them insane. Their main offensive technique is crowd control, using their powers they can often render their foes paralyzed with fear.
Psychomancy: Psychomancers have the ability to tap into people’s minds, allowing them to implant suggestions or directions. They cannot fully control people, but they can cause them to make decisions that they wouldn’t usually. Their main offensive technique is their power to manipulate foes into making bad decisions in combat.
Rules and Guidelines
1) Magic can’t be used infinitely. The more powerful the spell, the longer it takes for your ability to cast spells to recharge. So, say if you created a small flame to start a campfire, you could cast again almost instantly. However, if you created a blistering inferno the size of a house, it could take up to a day to reacharge.
2) Keep posts at least one average sized paragraph, no one-liners.
3) Try to always use correct spelling and grammar.
4) Have fun!
5) To prove that you read the rules, write “Napoleon B0rn2PARTAY” somewhere in your application.
Non-Magical Classes
If you apply after we have started, you won’t be able to instantly be a Mage. Until you are taught magic by someone who knows how to use it, here are a few classes to choose from:
Warrior: A simple fighter, who can use any melee weapon. Their main offensive technique is to hit things with their weapon.
Archer: A warrior who wields a bow, preferring to stay out of close combat. Their main offensive technique is to shoot things with arrows.

I'll throw up a CS in a bit. ^^
Name: Sten Revna
Age: 19
Magical Art: Necromancy
Appearance:
Personality: Sten is trying to research what he believes to be the ancient magic vampires of old practiced: Sanguimancy, the draining of one's life forces through drinking blood. He believes that once his research is finished, he will be lauded as a brilliant scholar by the Council of Magi and the Spellbound Guild, and rewarded justly. However, not all of his experiments have been ethical, and his morality is questionable at best. Sten is driven and ambitious, but quiet and self-absorbed. He is rather untrusting, but only because of what he hides.

That was violent, reckless and necessary. Good work! -Chairman Richard Prescott
(Thanks Piro!)
We will be taken out of our classes, the Head of the Guild will explain the purpouse of our journey, and we will set off the next day. We will fight and sleep, eat and pray not to be killed, and finally, retrieve the Holy Orb and the Skull of the Apocalypse. But that's a long way to go.
BTW, Grothnor, accepted. Looking forward to see your character in action.
Some of the voices in my head are interested, Napoleon B0rn2PARTAY and all that, but I moustache you some questions and can't shave them for later.
First! Can aquamancers control the bodily fluids of others? Can they control said fluids' temperature? In other words, can I kill someone by making their blood boil?
Second! On regeneration.
How will we ever get high speed fights with icicles and acid balls flying all around until not a single stone is left standing? So, say if you created a small flame to start a campfire, you could cast again almost instantly. However, if you created a blistering inferno the size of a house, it could take up to a day to reacharge.
@TuttiFrutti: In answer to your first question, no. Aquamancers only control water as we all know it, like the one we drink. Bodily fluids are in "other category", let's say. Although you can drink them, of course.
Second question: Maybe I can be a bit more flexible in that rule. However, if you used much of your power, you WILL (And I'll personally make that happen) feel hungry and exhausted. It also depends on your level of magic.
This sounds like lots of fun! Okay, off to make a character sheet.
Napoleon B0rn2PARTAY
It's been fun while it lasted!
But nothing on earth lasts forever...
Due to circumstances due to school and health, I won't be able to continue RPG. Thank you all for the fun times and hopefully in the distant future I will be able to return.
Name: Lily
Age: 15
Magical Art: Illusionism
Appearance:
Personality: Lily's attitude depends on her mood. And her mood changes A LOT as she can turn from a kind hearted girl to a smiling troublemaker in mere seconds.Plus, she is very sensitive about her eyes. She has them covered in order to keep her power limited to 50% of her potential so that she doesnt make everyone around her fall prey to her magical art.She is however, proud of her abilities which surpass by far almost every illussionist she has ever met in her life.
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything worthy, it's too late to stop reading it.
Will post momentarily, chaps.

"A soldier will fight long and hard for a bit of colored ribbon." - Napoleon

Current Characters
Name: Nathan Ardna
Age: 20
Magical Art: Clerimancy. On top of being an adept healer after years of study, Nathan tried to make a disease not to disable and harm, but one that unlocked potential within people. So far he has only tested it on himself, and found that whenever he has increased strength and speed, but loses his ability to heal others until it fades. His eyes also turn red when under the effects of his disease. Unknown to him, when dormant, the disease is evolving and growing stronger, taking on unintended effects.
Appearance:
Personality: Hard working, loyal, and reliable are all words that have been used to describe Nathan. On the other hand, words such as stubborn, uninspired, and unquestioning have all been used as well. He sticks to whatever he is told to do, and will do it no matter what it takes, whether that is right or wrong. He is a major advocate of following and sticking to the rules, even when detrimental or harmful, but will do everything he can for anyone on his side.

If there’s a problem with his disease let me know, and if you want, I can PM you the details of what I wanted to happen to him as it progressed.
This space is reserved for the first witty insult someone uses on me.
