Need a good Father/Daughter theme song

I have a character who was 'orphaned' at a very young age in London by her Scottish father after the mother died. As per my plot, they meet at some point in the Vatican, where he saves her from an execution.

For awhile, she's still untrusting of him. Hates him, in fact. But, as the story draws to a close, he takes an arrow in the chest to save her life.

Anyway, I need a good Father/Daughter Theme song for his post-mortem sappy scene.

EDIT: The story's in a Renaissance setting, so some songs won't fit. I had thought about "Gran Torino", but it made too many modern references.
